Has anyone actually tried making a bank transfer to an Aircasha account that’s more than $1.75? I'm wondering if it hits the same limits as a standard top-up or if there's some other catch.

Is there actually any real difference in how they work—between the Topps card, which is free by the way—and the standard Cash App card?

Maybe it's about whether they're accepted on Curve, or if you can use them to pay on sites like Powerball...?

It was nice while it lasted... and it's still going, for now.

I guess this means we’re headed right back to mailing checks for everything—at least for bill payments. Though, knowing how these companies work, they'll probably just hike up those service fees pretty soon anyway.

As long as we're still stuck using those old-school barcode payment slips, $0.00 I’d say getting everyone set up with an app was actually a pretty solid move.

Being able to pay bills for free just by scanning a barcode makes installing this app worth it—if they actually keep it that way, it’s already a huge win.
It’s been running like this for almost six months now, so I guess we can hope it sticks, or maybe they'll eventually pivot to charging some tiny, symbolic fee if they decide to bring back those old charges.

As for the parking situation, I think we can all agree—it was pretty unrealistic to expect that to stay free forever.

The app just updated—maybe it’ll actually fix things for some of you.

If they end up making their bill pay service permanently free, I guess that alone would be enough reason for me to start using it.

It’s a real shame that neither of these cards works with Venmo yet—that would have been a total game changer.

knows? Maybe they'll surprise us and keep it free forever.

Well, looking at the card images on their website, it looks like they do—but I guess someone else here would have to confirm that for sure.

Maybe this thread should be moved over to the "Banking, Insurance, and Credit" section? It’d probably get more eyes there anyway, and since they've basically turned into a legit fintech company now, they kind of belong in that category.

Speaking of Curve and prepaid cards—does anyone know if a Mastercard prepaid from Chase or a Visa prepaid from Wells Fargo would actually work with it?

As far as actual functionality goes, I’ve been pretty disappointed that Curve doesn't support it—even though it works just fine with PayPal and Chime.
Otherwise, the app handles transaction notifications without any issues, and of course, the 3DS stuff works as expected through the usual app confirmation process.

The card is actually embossed, the build quality is solid, and it definitely doesn't feel cheap. It's a red color, kind of similar to an American Express card.

Well, I went ahead and got mine—already activated it too. I tried linking it to Curve, but it wouldn't take it... probably
just because it's a prepaid card. Based on the BIN list, though, it looks like it's an American card, if you can actually trust those lists.
