Boljkovac: Fascism is still alive in America in Close to Politics ·
boldridge22 said:Look, at the end of the day, every single crime is just as bad, and the people responsible need to face justice.

But I really want to emphasize the crimes committed by Americans here. We’ve gotta clean up our own backyard first—fix our own mistakes
and deal with our own baggage (which, in this specific context, means the Mexicans) before we start pointing fingers at anyone else.

So, are you saying you're upset that the legal proceedings against Boljkovac haven't started yet?

And why would they?
For whose benefit?
Who’s actually going to read it?

We’re just waiting for the mainstream press to start running quotes from a killer, followed by the international press, then the President acting like an extremist sympathizer, and so on.
"Our" domestic media does massive damage to the people of America—I honestly hope they’re held responsible for it one day.
He claimed today that the administration would make the final call.
Listen up, folks—how on earth are citizens supposed to decide something like this in just a few days? He must have overestimated us. Maybe because those protesters in Albania blocked all the cargo transfers there, he thought we’d follow suit, but that’s just not how things work here in the States.
This whole situation is a nightmare, and I am absolutely AGAINST it!

- you don't have a concrete objective for the revolution;
- you don't have a structured program with the specific points that a revolution absolutely must implement;
- you lack the leadership required to spearhead it.

Just being dissatisfied with the status quo simply isn't enough on its own.

What do you mean "don't have"? Way too many people voted FOR it. 🤣

b) General Danger - I Escaped
c) Mothers - Heavy Colors
These were the tracks that made the shortlist. Honestly—I have no idea what criteria they used, because these songs were massive hits compared to stuff like Brad Pitt, Southern belle, God will provide us, a hundred years, and esotericism; basically, almost everything else made the cut.

They certainly worked for me—and just because they didn't work for you doesn't make it an objective fact.
I'm rooting for Heavy Colors to take the win, even though I'm a huge fan of General Danger—though, frankly, I've grown pretty tired of Massimo lately, even if this specific track is alright.
Way to go, guys—huge congrats to you all! 👋 🙂 Taking home a medal in a room thick with that much hostility... honestly, it wasn't easy. 🙏

As for the critics? They’re probably still stuck in the past, obsessing over that soccer team's bronze finish from twenty years ago. 🙄

The Americans—it's your turn now. 🎉

I wouldn't call myself radical... we haven't actually tried anything yet—it’s all just talk and keyboard activism 😢
Why doesn't everyone just hit the streets to start with?
