Yeah, still waiting on an explanation from the higher-ups—how long does it actually take you guys to get on the same page?

Four links total.
Let's take them one by one.
1. CNN: Shocking! The page is just gone... 404 error!
2. USA Today: Just the homepage, completely irrelevant.
3. Fox News: A link from 2012. About swine flu, by the way.
4. Vaccine Info site: This text claims to be a translation from xy, but there isn't even a link to xy to prove it...
edit. Yesterday, when I checked, the anti-vaxxers actually had the supposed translation. Today? 404. 😬
Sit down, please!
The whole COVID vaccine situation is just a rerun of the swine flu vaccine story. Just to refresh everyone's memory on how the mainstream media pushed it while mocking anyone who dared to question them:
Vaccine side effects:
https://cijepljenje.info/cjepivo-pro...-sirom-europe/
Which country in Europe was the first to approve the COVID vaccine:
The swine flu vaccine caused brain damage in over 800 children throughout Europe, leading the UK government to agree to a $90 million settlement for the victims due to complications from that shot.
It's the exact same deal as the swine flu vaccine—back when the entire global mainstream media machine insisted it would never cause harm while simultaneously tearing apart any critics. From bogus science columns in The Washington Post to full-page ads from vaccine manufacturers in The New York Times, every major American news outlet at the time flatly denied any possibility of injury, aggressively pushing vaccines that were later proven to hurt kids.
Charles Fox10 said:Your take on this is totally off. The bottom line is they have to deal with a bit more heat than us regular folks—the Supreme Court actually backed that up—but we’re making it clear we won't tolerate pointless insults just for the sake of being jerks.
Charles Fox10 said:Since you love playing hall monitor and nitpicking everyone else's posts, here's a reality check: that ban is valid, just like yours. And just so we're clear on avoiding future drama—other people's bans aren't your business.
Chloe Campbell95 said:First off, don't sweat it—Charles Fox10 already knows the deal. I'm sure he'll get back to you soon enough.
Secondly, since you've suddenly decided to play defense attorney for our buddy here, you're kind of missing the point—when he's dropping lines like "why are you even talking?" or "what are you rambling about?" to other people on here with those goofy posts of his... well, if you look at why he actually gets banned, it’s because of that exact kind of rhetoric. Are all these other users public figures too? Or just regular people?
Luckily for us, the mods can see everything—all the deleted posts, the bans, the reasons behind them, and all that juicy stuff. Cheers!
Chloe Campbell95 said:So you're looking for a "heavier" penalty for insults (one that actually sticks), rather than just those 25 points for trolling—which you seem to think is "too vague"? Fine by me. Honestly, you could've easily taken a much higher penalty for that specific post.
Should we just leave the COVID-19 threads here for "daily venting sessions"? Where'd you get that idea? You clearly missed the point.
And as for you playing lawyer for another user—you don't think that counts as trolling or harassment? Seriously? Got any actual proof?
Morgan Booth70 said:Oh, the classic moderator excuse—"total contribution" levels. Hilarious. 🤣
There's an entire subforum dedicated to COVID-19 for actual deep dives and analysis, yet you guys just can't leave it alone.
Ever thought about letting this politics thread be a place to vent all that daily frustration?
Why act like such hall monitors?
How many threads are in the COVID-19 section?
A ton.
But sure, let's try to enforce strict rules here in this lonely little thread where people just want to blow off steam—bravo, zero tact on your part. :s
One more thing since you're already here—what if you guys actually coordinated? Multiple mods—Charles Fox10 comes to mind first—have made it clear that roasting politicians or public figures is fine, unlike attacking other users.
And then this happens:
edit: realized you deleted the post in the meantime, so here's a screenshot:
https://postimg.cc/w3ZFVgdH
And this guy gets 50 points for trolling and straight-up INSULTING someone? Seriously? 🤣
Meanwhile, if I said anything, I'd get a strike for "attacking the moderation"—you guys are too much. :s
| Chloe Campbell95 says: It’s not even about whether this specific post is trolling—it's just that you flood the same thread about COVID-19 with troll posts every single day. If all this is just your "subjective experience," then maybe dial down the subjectivity a bit. |

How am I supposed to help? — I’m drinking tons of water and tea, eating my fruits and veggies, cutting out caffeine, skipping the pastries... everything.

Henry Garcia13 said:It sounds like you're writing this from another planet. Turkey acts as a dam holding back millions of refugees who, if they head toward Europe, could very realistically trigger the collapse of the EU. Erdogan plays both Europe, America, and Russia against each other because he knows exactly how to swim between their competing interests, all while China looms in the background as another force everyone fears...
Erdogan doesn't just talk; he takes concrete steps that clash with many EU member states and the Union as a whole. Yet, there is no response.
All of this points to the political weakness of the European Union first and foremost, which then highlights Turkish strength—strength that is largely inflated because they are simply exploiting the current circumstances perfectly.

What browser are you running?
Amanda Kim2 said:Check this out if you want more browser options

And hey, if your favorite isn't listed, just grab an extension so you can run Chrome add-ons right in it!
Casey Bennett said:For those of you stuck using Chrome, this should do the trick.
Just install the extension, refresh the page, and voilà—that absolute nonsense is finally gone.
Make sure you hit "disagree" first, unless you actually want to give those idiots who designed this thing the satisfaction they're looking for.

Bolded (so I don't end up deleting the whole thing)...
I hope you're right, but looking at who’s actually in that Democratic coalition and the seats they managed to snag, I honestly think Plenković could probably sway even 15 representatives his way if he wanted to. He could likely flip people from the Pametan and Ime i prezime groups too, provided he makes them a tempting enough offer. For instance, that married couple over in Puljak's camp would probably jump at a chance to run the Department of Education—and since Plenković already handed that kind of influence over to the NSF, why wouldn't he offer it to them?
There’s one issue with everything you write... actually, make that two.
Plenković is absolutely dreading the idea of a rerun election. It would be a disaster for him, especially if Skor and the Most party actually manage to team up and form a coalition.
Who would actually lead such a massive coalition? If it isn't Plenković—and considering the Democratic Party is running solo this time without any partners, I doubt the Republican Party could pull anything more significant than him—then the whole coalition falls apart. Plenković loses his grip on the Republican Party, and then they just end up forming a coalition with Skor.
3) I’ve touched on this before... Bernardić would absolutely benefit from Plenković losing ground and the Republican Party shifting further right... I honestly can't imagine a scenario where Bernardić would settle for being a junior partner in a Republican-Democratic coalition, subservient to Plenković. That’s exactly why he’s built such a massive alliance—to take down the Republican Party once and for all...
Looking at points 2 and 3, I'm skeptical that this grand coalition is actually a viable fix... It might work if they managed to sideline Bernardić... But once that physicist from Staten Island emerges as the relative winner of these elections (which seems inevitable), making that happen will be an uphill battle.
Which is precisely why I suspect Plenković will spend the post-election period negotiating—negotiating with Skor, while simultaneously working behind the scenes to rack up favors within the Democratic coalition until he's exhausted every option.
It’s really the only way he survives politically.

So, I guess if we’re all born with blond hair, we’re all Nazis, and anyone who wants to deal with us is a Nazi too. Brilliant logic there—I'm sure that's exactly what America needs to become the next Switzerland.
The unnamed US person should probably jump onto the list for the unnamed US organization now that the unnamed US person is out; we could certainly use more of that level of intellect.👍
