Looking for someone perceptive, self-aware, and low-drama. Someone I can actually talk to, maybe grab a coffee with.
Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas.
34.
Details in my inbox.

Or just someone grumpy enough that we can be grumpy together once in a while.🙂

Just someone who’s pretty much over it all. I don't really fit in anywhere, including here. Unappreciated, down-to-earth, simple (but complicated, obviously).
I see things from the inside, not the outside.
Based in Chicago or the surrounding areas if we actually decide to meet up, but I'm open to other options.

Psychology, philosophy, looking inward.
The deep stuff and the shallow stuff.
Highs and lows.
Everything else...

Looking for someone to talk to, and maybe more if the vibe is right.
I’m based in the Washington, D.C. area.

Bonus points if you actually enjoy deep dives, introspection, and can handle some banter.

Copying this from the US...

Introvert, hater, misanthrope—basically everything wonderful in one package. Though, I guess I have an occasional urge to dial back the self-destruction just enough to function.
What I actually do is hunt for decent moments, spot the absurdity in everything, and usually flip the script using some heavy sarcasm.
I value my peace and my alone time above almost anything else.
I love exploring.
Curious.
Dead serious about being unserious.
Into anything non-standard or unconventional.
Can't stand people who try too hard or suck up to others.
I respect grounded people who don't feel the need to overshare.

As for the random stuff I’m into: music, movies, cats and other tiny terrors, coffee, cigarettes (purely for interest), maybe tattoos, traveling, and abandoned places.

28 years old.
Just outside Washington, D.C.

Hopefully this PDF works for starting a thread.

Tried using Slack for the first time today and I'm clearly lost. Where do I go to actually show up as online to everyone else on the network?
Also, is there a way to kill those annoying emoji animations so they just stay basic? No clue how to fix that either.
Help 🙂

I don't know... hard to put into words what I'm actually looking for. Posted an ad on Craigslist a few days ago if anyone wants to hang out... though everything I wrote is pretty much up in the air.
Basically, if you want to talk or just chat about something, feel free to hit my inbox. 🙂
27, from the Chicago suburbs, into all the usual stuff young people like (mostly).

Thanks a ton, 🙂
Looking for phone cases in the city. Anyone know where I can find a decent selection?
Can you even find a case for those older models like the Nokia Lumia 530, or should I just head straight to eBay?

Anyone in Washington, D.C. know a good physical therapist or someone who actually deals with chronic pelvic pain or lower pelvic floor tension?

Nicholas Myers said:What kind of testing was done? Scans? Swabs?

Pelvic ultrasound covering the bladder, testes, and prostate; transrectal ultrasound (TRUS); prostate exam. Urethral swab and ejaculate culture (normal flora at 10*3 CFU/ml); Mycoplasma/Ureaplasma swabs and ejaculate (no Ureaplasma spp./Mycoplasma hominis isolated); Chlamydia trachomatis swabs and ejaculate were negative.
Urine culture: < 10*3 microorganisms per 1 ml.
Urinalysis sediment: WBC 3-4 (ref. 0-2), non-hyaline casts 1-2 (ref. 0, note: granular casts), trace bacteria, heavy mucus...
Bloodwork:
MPV 6.5 L (ref. 6.8 - 10.4)
The second urinalysis showed plenty of bacteria, more mucus, and elevated WBCs.
By the third urinalysis, there were still some leukocytes, RBCs, and cells with 10-15 WBCs. That’s when they put me on Doxycycline.

Latest exam (TRUS) shows the prostate looks symmetrical, no clear hypoechoic areas.
Earlier exams (ultrasound and manual exam) showed an inhomogeneous, softer prostate that was slightly tender. Radiology noted some hypoechoic areas in the prostate.

Hey.

After bouncing between several urologists and getting nothing but wrong diagnoses—like being told it was just prostatitis—only to eventually be told everything was perfectly fine, I finally got a real answer: suspected asymptomatic Urethritis.
It all started three months ago. I'm dealing with constant urination, sudden and uncomfortable urges (averaging about 20 times a day), tension in my penis, and occasional weird irritations. It feels swollen or inflamed, though not constantly intense. Then there’s this numbness that’s killed my sex life entirely, plus some erectile dysfunction issues...
The frequent bathroom trips aren't even the worst part; it's that irritating pressure on my bladder. As soon as I feel even a tiny urge, I have to rush to the restroom just to squeeze out a few drops.
I'm currently on day seven of Doxycycline, but so far, zero change. My doctor also put me on Urotri for the next two months. I have a follow-up next week. I'm seriously considering more invasive tests, maybe a urethroscopy or cystoscopy (not entirely sure which is which).

Has anyone dealt with anything similar? What did your doctors actually find, what tests did you undergo, what antibiotics worked, and what was your experience like?

Anyone know a decent urologist in Washington, D.C.? Looking for someone who actually has the patience to listen to a patient instead of just treating me like another number on an assembly line...

Also, if anyone knows where I can get a urethroscopy/uretrocystoscopy done, let me know.
