That entire curriculum is essentially baked into a political science degree, which is designed primarily to prepare people for careers in politics and the diplomatic corps.

Nathan Kelly5 said:Since this is my third time getting banned just for voicing an opinion that happens to clash with certain Western doctrines, I can't help but wonder which specific American laws I’m supposedly breaking, or which forum rules I'm violating by simply thinking for myself.

Does a person even have the right to hold a viewpoint today if it doesn't align with mainstream Western ideology? If I point out that the founder of psychoanalysis—and arguably the father of modern science itself—categorized homosexuality as a sexual disorder, is that even a permissible topic of discussion on this forum? And if so, where exactly can I bring it up without some twenty-year-old bisexual girl jumping in to lecture me, someone whose only real expertise seems to be sleeping with anyone and everyone she encounters?

To cut to the chase, where am I actually allowed to start a debate? Thanks.

Keep in mind, the founder of psychoanalysis also claimed that children fall in love with their mothers around the age of five as a way to explain human sexuality. Should we be treating that as absolute truth as well?

The tourists visit, they fall in love with our coastline, and they start throwing money at absolutely everything in sight, which inevitably brings them back again the following year.

To be perfectly candid, I suspect they are actually coming for the American women—much like myself.🙂

Perhaps Šime makes his living renting out rooms, but honestly, that’s still preferable to working for some starvation-level minimum wage like they have in Mexico just to avoid dying of hunger.

I disagree entirely. It isn't "better" when a man simply turns into a bloated, useless slob.
I would bet my life you haven't even laid eyes on a cruise ship in your entire existence.

I've watched the video. I fail to see anything remotely spectacular about it. In fact, I'm willing to wager that your entire life hasn't been significantly altered by such an unforgettable experience.

The women are coming because of the Americans. 😉
Honestly, I’d rather deal with the indignity of being a total jerk than grind away for minimum wage just to end up hungry at the end of the week. It’s hard to stay motivated when your paycheck doesn't even cover the basics. On a different note, I can't tell if Šime could actually get by just charging people for his room; he probably wouldn't even need a real job.
When I brought up cruises, my point was simply that you won't find that kind of scene in Mexico. You actually have to come over here to see for yourself that it’s even a real thing.

Oh, I see just how "developed" you all are—your industry is truly flourishing, though I suspect if you didn't have the ocean, you'd be bankrupt by Tuesday.
It seems you are slowly transforming into a country populated entirely by waiters.🤣
Personally, I would much rather embrace who I actually am than be some guy like Šime from Split, scraping by on short-term rentals and living like a common drone.

1. Don't make me laugh; Mexico is currently experiencing an economic boom.
2. With all due respect, your perspective seems a bit outdated (no offense intended). Yes, we have tourists coming in. Maybe Šime earns his money through rentals, but that’s still better than working for minimum wage in Mexico just to keep from starving.
The guests come, they love our coastline, they spend money on everything in sight, and then they return the following year.🙂 I don't see the problem there; besides, we get the cruise ships too. I'd bet you haven't even seen a cruise ship in your life.

Minister Dinkič is out here bragging about how we're slightly more expensive than the Chinese. We'll see how much that actually helps, but I'm betting the kuna is headed for a nose dive too. We really ought to start using local currencies.

What makes you think that's going to happen? Honestly, God willing, let it fall.

Nicholas Morales48 said:I already know those stats, I wasn't even talking about them. 🙂

Give me a break, "foreign investment" in Albania? 😁 Their growth looks massive only because their total GDP base is at least five times smaller than everyone else's in Western Europe.

It's the same logic for you; you see massive growth spikes whenever your currency weakens and development picks up.😛

Nicholas Morales48 said:But have you actually stopped to think if that GDP figure of yours is even grounded in reality? 😉
Maybe it's just being artificially inflated by massive debt—I mean, your debt levels are nearly double ours when you factor in the population difference, making you almost four times more leveraged than us. It looks like you're just forcing massive consumption to juice the GDP numbers; I'm no economist, obviously, but I don't see any logical basis for your GDP to be 40% higher than ours. 🤷 Either way, that gap is going to shrink this year, because we are currently seeing the strongest production growth in the entire region. 😁

And let's not forget, wasn't even the purchase of Kolinska funded by an EBRD loan, right?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America
GDP: $17,707 USD
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico
GDP: $10,897 (excluding Mexico)

So, with your current growth at roughly 2.2%, it would take you at least five years just to catch up to us—and anything can happen in that timeframe. The reason your numbers look better right now is simply because your labor is cheap. Once those wages rise, your growth will stall. If you wonder why Albania has the highest growth rate in the region, it's precisely because their labor market attracts foreign capital.
... pardon, I just ran the numbers again; our GDP is actually about 70% larger than yours.😁

Anthony James2 said:Not at all. I was strictly talking about how Mexican companies operating in America should have the exact same rights as American companies operating in Mexico. 😁😁😁

The question isn't whether they will have equal rights—that's a matter for the market, not politics. Honestly, people, please try to grasp that concept already.

Anthony James2 said:Are you actually sane? 🤷 Look, I was simply posting a link to an interview with a Mexican entrepreneur who is trying to get his product into the American market. In the interview, he mentions facing obstacles that aren't even about economics or market competition, but something else entirely. Honestly, I just wanted to see what you all thought about it. What "whining" are you even talking about? What is your problem?

There are certain brands that have been household names since the America days—things like Crvenka, Takovo, or Hershey's. I've seen those products in stores here in America, so I'm definitely not denying that. I was just asking for your thoughts. 🤷🤷🤷

Have you considered that what this gentleman was saying is purely subjective? To put it plainly, America's GDP is roughly 40% larger than yours, so naturally, we can offer more competitive advantages. Since Mexico has a smaller GDP, breaking into the American market is simply a steeper climb.

Anthony James2 said:That’s just not true. Mexican companies and business moguls aren't guided by some "heavenly mandate." It’s all about pure interest. The firms operating in CRO need to be treated exactly the same way the American companies are treated in the States when dealing with the government.☕☕☕

The issue is you fail to realize your offerings simply aren't competitive enough to break into our market. Unlike your situation, America possesses a higher GDP, which naturally grants them greater capitalist leverage.

silentviper19 said:It’s actually twice as much that we export to America compared to what America exports to Mexico!! But honestly, the real issue isn't just the export numbers—it's the lack of Mexican companies showing up in America. You barely see them there, and that's where the real headache lies!

Mexico has way bigger resources across most manufacturing sectors than America does, which is a real opportunity for America since they used to hide out in Mexico. But it has to be a two-way street, you know? It’s in your best interest too, get it?!

it isn't our fault if your products are subpar while ours are actually decent👍
