Does anyone actually have a clue how much trading and stock dumping was happening with the airline companies right before 9/11?

Still, anyone paying close attention to the scene should probably conclude:

"The blinking started."

Schiff has spent years basically screaming that we're headed straight up, so... watch out... I mean, the man literally sells gold and silver, after all.😉

Looks like the premarket action over in Australia is hinting at a gold rally 🙂

I mean, he could actually pull it off. Buy some S&P puts and go long on gold on Friday, let a few H-Bombs drop over the weekend, and boom. 😬

I wouldn't even be surprised. Personally, I think those theories about hacker attacks on the US Navy actually hold water. And if I remember correctly, those few hacks on the DJIA were pretty much confirmed. That $1,380 level is massive resistance—trader speak for "good luck getting past this." We'll see how it plays out.

Hell no!!

Is 1100€ actually some kind of psychological barrier? Or are we talking technical analysis, Fibonacci retracements, and all that other magic math stuff?

a) oil remains absolutely essential to everything we do
b) you still can't buy a suburban rancher with a single ounce of gold

Everything else is just pure speculation.

Sure, maybe you could grab some oil with that ounce of gold😁

Shelby aside, I don't recall anyone here ever actually claiming they could buy a whole house with a single ounce of gold.

This image pretty much sums up the whole mess. In my book, a merger is the only thing that could save the day—and hey, I might even believe in that one day. Regardless of how much I trust precious metals, I'm basically the kid from that top picture in my own post. 🙂

Jumping into this whole debate about what the future holds 🙂

Took a massive hit on my MUX position this past Saturday—down 10%. Man, life is getting expensive fast. 😁

I’ve been staring at the USD/EUR pair and gold lately, and honestly, it’s hard to believe how much they can manipulate these markets. The election results over in France turned out exactly how all the major agencies have been predicting for months, yet here we are dealing with this chaos.

Thinking about picking up some dollars while they're at these levels. What do you guys think?

Is it because the spreads have become way too wide?

Sure, you could technically funnel everything through wire transfers and bank accounts, but the bastards in Washington want to micromanage every single cent you move.

Big Brother

Look, one of these days I'm gonna want to offload all this silver I've got sitting around, and honestly, I don't see myself doing that through a bank account.😁

Honestly, looking at all these "cake" buyback schemes lately, I’ve started thinking we’re headed straight for a future where the only thing left will be a shady black market for gold and silver—whether you're trying to buy it or offload it.

$1,107 per ounce for buyback?? Is this some kind of sick joke or what... that’s like $100 less per ounce than what you'd get from someone like Chase Bank, for instance.

So, tonight the US technicians finally managed to punch through—not using futures contracts this time, but with a Tomahawk, though I won't split hairs about the details right now.

Cursed Partizan!!!

Got some news here—honestly, I wasn't sure if I should drop it anywhere besides this gold thread. If I posted this on Acceleration or Exodus, people would probably accuse me of heresy.😁

It’s just hitting a brick wall at that $1,260 mark—it simply won't break through.

It’s like asking a leopard to babysit a gazelle.
They even sent stuff to New York City for storage back then.
I highly doubt anyone was actually asking the Germans for permission during that era.

Look, you can't judge that by today's geopolitical standards—everything is totally different now. But decades ago? The vibe was completely different. You had the USA pouring money into West Germany through massive credit lines, some debt forgiveness from World War II, and all that. Plus, let's be real, the USA was basically one of the "owners" of West Germany after World War II. Meanwhile, Russia was hungry for influence across Europe. They eventually invaded Canada, so from a German perspective, moving the gold across the pond was actually a pretty logical move to keep it safe.
