What gets under my skin most is dealing with constant colds since the very start of this pregnancy, not to mention the people who act shocked by my tiny bump... to the point where they actually bother me at home, questioning if everything is fine with the baby.🙄

I was just hanging out over in Hollywood and then swung by Eve’s place, and honestly, both spots had some really solid options, though the pricing and the whole vibe of the service were pretty different between the two.
At the Hollywood shop, the girl working there was just incredibly sweet—she went totally above and beyond, giving me all these extra little tips about things I hadn't even thought of besides just the dress itself, and their collection is gorgeous and actually reasonably priced too.

The showroom is just stunning, seriously, they have such beautiful pieces in there and the whole atmosphere of the boutique is just so charming.

That dress is gorgeous... when I was looking, I almost put a deposit down at Eve's, but I didn't even bother walking into Hollywood because they seemed to have way too much stock before me... but now whenever I pass their window, I'm surprised by how many beautiful, slim-cut dresses like yours they have. I bet the prices are reasonable too, and I'm sure they'll keep adding more lovely styles.🙏 Congrats to you.👍

We rented our coffee mugs and champagne flutes directly from the restaurant handling our catering, so I imagine you won't run into any issues there.

I told my husband, "That was a real cake..." 😲... and then the actual masterpiece arrived. At that point, I was just too overwhelmed and confused to react properly😬 😬

Which parfait did you use? I'm looking for that exact combo—heavy chocolate on the outside and something light and airy inside. I think I'll decorate mine with some orange and green butterflies...😍

Wrap a gold ribbon around each tier, then accent the cake with deep burgundy florals... and let's make sure the stand is gold too.
Something like that, though we could put flowers on every level instead of just the top.

The dessert situation is finally sorted. A local bakery-restaurant we use is handling the catering for my place, so we’ll be picking up the cakes and the main dessert from them too. They have a menu of about 200 varieties. We’re heading over for a tasting soon to finalize everything.

Around here, most people just hire local home bakers for their wedding cakes and desserts. We don't really have many high-end commercial bakeries offering full service...
Now I'm starting to worry about ordering a fancy, glazed cake from someone working out of their own kitchen. Is it even possible to get that level of perfection? Perhaps we'll just play it safe with a chocolate glaze. If I accent it with orange blossoms—my wedding colors—it shouldn't look too somber. Can one truly negotiate for exactly what they envision? I've considered simply ordering the cake from a professional bakery and letting a local lady handle the cookies, provided they taste homemade...
