What truly got under my skin—more than anything else—was the initial reaction from my own parents, with their incredibly foolish and shortsighted pressure for me to have a third child. Then came a nearly identical reaction from my mother-in-law... who, quite ironically, ended up telling everyone how much she was looking forward to this baby, just like she did with the others (which stands in such sharp contrast to my parents, who still judge me and don't even bother asking if the baby is doing okay)... and finally, there were those clueless women on this forum who clearly haven't a clue what they're talking about, offering nothing but mindless advice and judgment. So, that's the gist of it. Honestly, all the physical ailments and complications I've dealt with during this pregnancy haven't been nearly as infuriating as dealing with ignorant people like 🙂
My dear friends, I just got back from my transvaginal ultrasound appointment today, and can you believe it? My little one is already measuring at 3.1mm!!! I managed to snap a few pictures... though I'm honestly a bit stumped on how to upload them here for you all to see... Pusa Jeeeeeee

P.S.: Are you noticing any symptoms yet? When was your last period??? Just trying to run some numbers here...😘

I’m honestly not even sure what qualifies as a "normal" symptom at this stage—it's all so subjective, isn't it? People say it feels pretty much like the lead-up to a period. For me, I get this really nagging ache in my lower back—right in that low spot—which is exactly how it feels right before my cycle starts... My last period was on October 7th.
Hey ladies, so I went to pick up my results today after heading over to the Schwarz lab yesterday for one last pregnancy test—and it’s POSITIVE!!! My partner already let all his friends know, and we told his family yesterday too, which was such a relief... they were incredibly supportive. On my end, I've only told one close friend so far, and we're planning to tell my parents this weekend since they don't live here in the city. Honestly, I am just dying to tell everyone, but telling my own family is actually what’s making me most nervous... I know deep down it shouldn't really matter how they react, especially since we aren't financially dependent on them or anything like that, but you know how it is—it would just be so much easier if I knew they'd be happy about it from the start.
Thank you, ladies, for all the responses—it’s honestly driving me a little crazy not having anyone to talk to about this. I have to admit, I’ve actually started hoping that I am pregnant rather than worrying that I'm not... I’ve already scrolled through a mountain of articles online... Thankfully, my boyfriend was totally on board with the idea, though I honestly don't know what he would have done if things had gone differently. What I'm dreading most, though, is telling my parents. My sister just got married two months ago, and there's likely another wedding coming up soon, followed by a baby... I just have no idea where we would even find the money for all of this...
I just want to be one hundred percent certain—as soon as possible—because I feel like I’m going to lose my mind if we don't speak up soon. That said, I really have no intention of saying anything until I am absolutely, unequivocally sure...
Could someone please point me in the right direction regarding where I can get a blood test for pregnancy?
