Look, don't sweat it. Getting pregnant isn't exactly as easy as people make it out to be. I used to freak out about the same stuff—always thinking, "what if??" But you can relax, especially if he didn't go deep. You’ll get your period, everything will turn out fine. Just take this as a lesson learned and be a bit more careful with protection from now on. 😉
Honestly, these stories about stillbirths are driving me insane. And it’s coming from my own maid of honor. She calls me, feeling like she absolutely has to tell me, as if I actually want to hear it. There is zero reason for me to listen to some tragedy involving a girl in 62 miles who isn't even in my social circle. Seriously, what is the point? To top it off, she makes sure to mention how perfectly healthy her pregnancy was right up until the end. Like, thanks for the heads-up, now I'll just sit here wondering if I'm going to have a dead baby too. 🤷
As for pets, my cat passed away just a few days before I found out I was pregnant. My husband and I cried for days. Then people have the nerve to say, "Look on the bright side, it's better he's gone now that the baby is coming." What would they have wanted? 😕 Nothing. I'd have to run him over myself.
Digestion isn't usually an issue for me, though things have started acting up since I put on some weight. But honestly, beans are my absolute trigger. If I cook them for lunch, I’m heading straight to the bathroom by tonight. Trust me, if you need to get things moving, stick to corn or kidney beans. It works every time.
It pissed me off too, seeing what Harold Cook2 was up to. I’m sitting there having a coffee, and this couple sits down next to me. The woman is visibly pregnant, and there I am, being all sensitive, when she pulls out a blue pack of Walter Wolf and starts lighting up one after another right there with her latte. I couldn't help myself—I muttered, "How can someone smoke like that with a baby on the way?" She heard me, obviously, and now I'm the one getting glared at. Apparently, I'm the one who should be ashamed.
Lately, it feels like everyone is trying to get their hands on my chest. "Wow, look at those!" they say. And when the guys say it, I just think: Get a grip. It's pathetic watching them stare at my boobs like they can't look away. It's gross.
The most shocking part of my pregnancy wasn't even the symptoms; it was what my OB-GYN told me. She hit me with "you’re on bed rest starting today," and then a month later, she just dropped the hammer again: "still on bed rest." 😲 Seriously? Are you kidding me? It made zero sense to me. When I saw that positive test, I was on top of the world. Despite the nausea, I was energized, happy, and actually looking forward to heading into the office every day, being around people, and making the most of this. Now? I've been stuck at home for two months, migrating from the couch to the bed. I'm drained, and this isn't how I pictured this experience at all. It’s a nightmare I never saw coming. But hey, what can you do?🤷

So, I took a pregnancy test this morning—like, two days before my period was even supposed to show up—and it gave me this pathetic, faint little line that was barely even there. It looked more like a shadow than anything else. I’ve read online that a line is a line, no matter how faint it looks, but honestly, can anyone actually trust one of those things? Has anyone else dealt with this kind of sketchy result only to find out they were actually pregnant? I guess I'll just have to sit tight for a few more days and try the test again.
Honey, that's pregnancy!!!! Congrats. 😍😍😍
Same thing happened to me. I tested four days before my period and the line was barely visible to anyone but me. Three days before, it was a tiny little sliver. Then, two days before, I went for blood work and the HCG levels were positive. By the day my period was actually due, the line was perfectly clear.
How long is the recovery actually going to take after a broken lower leg? I’m losing my mind at home. Broke my leg two weeks ago—lower tibia near the ankle. Had surgery, currently in a cast, though it's just on the back side held by a wrap. I told my boss I’d be back at work by next week, but my family is looking at me like I’ve lost my marbles. I can't stay cooped up here anymore. Anyone have some actual advice? Or even bad advice, doesn't matter. I don't have anyone else to ask.🙂
Quick question for any experts out there. I suffered a trimalleolar fracture on my right lower leg last week. I’ve already had surgery and now I'm just counting down the two weeks until I can get the stitches pulled. Can anyone explain what a trimalleolar fracture actually entails and how long the recovery process usually takes? I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences.🙂
jadepilot65 said:I didn't bother taking a test this morning because, get this, I noticed about four or five drops of light blood on my underwear last night—so naturally, I just assumed my period was finally showing up. But now? Absolutely nothing. Zilch. Not a single thing! So, what on earth am I supposed to make of that? Someone please tell me, because I am honestly at my wit's end here! 🤷
Look, jadepilot65, you're killing us here. 😛 I’ve been wondering all morning if it’s a positive or not, and now we're back to square one. As for the spotting, it could be your period starting, or it could be early pregnancy signs. Just wait and see if things pick up later today.
He’s lost his mind!!! Honestly, you should just knead that first batch in the morning; that's the only way to really tell. And don't overdo it. Whatever happens, happens.
jadepilot65 said:So, wait—you're telling me dizziness can actually be a sign of pregnancy instead of just standard PMS?
That’s the catch. The symptoms overlap. You should check if you're feeling anything out of the ordinary compared to your usual cycle. I get dizzy during my PMS. What's your temperature? Have you actually checked it?
jadepilot65 said:I’ve decided I’m just going to wait until tomorrow morning—and if I don't have an answer by then, I'm calling it quits and moving on. Honestly, I've been dealing with this nagging, lightheadedness all day long and I haven't the slightest clue what's going on with me.😢 To make matters worse, I actually have to head into downtown to take care of some business, and I keep finding myself taking these massive, deep breaths like I can somehow just exhale this dizziness away! 🤣
Oh, wonderful!!! I'm sure it'll be a beautiful little baby!! Fingers crossed!!
jadepilot65 said:Thanks, but honestly? My head is still absolutely pounding, so that’s pretty much my entire world right now. And since I have no clue if I can even take any over-the-counter meds without making things worse, I'm just... sufferiiiiing! 😳
Don't take anything. I took Tylenol before I realized I was pregnant, ended up having a miscarriage, and honestly wanted to give up on everything after. You never know what could cause damage. Just take my advice. Ask a professional instead. Fingers crossed for you—let us know if you get that positive test!
