My husband is driving me absolutely insane. He’s acting like a total pig. He worked a few hours today, came home, sat straight down at his computer to play video games, ate everything in sight, and then went to sleep. When I tried to wake him up an hour later because the baby was fussy, he just snapped at me for trying to quiet 🙂:asshole:

Then, when I told him he needed to apologize, he just sulked and drove over to his parents' house! He left the little one all alone with me while the baby was crying for him... He finally came back for the kid after a few minutes, but he stormed in looking like a complete maniac. Honestly, I should have just gone with him... I don't feel like sitting there through a barrage of interrogation from his folks asking "What happened?!" and all that nonsense. Get outta here! :2up:

Just needed to vent somewhere... sorry for the language...
I was honestly shocked by how big my belly got. It was so frustrating because four months before my due date, everyone kept staring at me like I was about to go into labor any second. I felt like a massive whale because of all the swelling. Hopefully, things will be a bit different now 🙂
Postpartum hemorrhoids—help! in Women's Health ·
Amy Brown13 said:Picked it up yesterday. Been sipping on it since last night. We'll see how it goes. Honestly, I’m following every single suggestion here, but 🤷 nothing seems to be working. When I'm just lying still, there's no pain. But once I'm at the
bathroom... oh my god, Jesus's mercy. 🙏 😢 It's just awful.

A natural cream I found through a direct sales company 🤷 helped me out—specifically for hemorrhoids. It felt 100% organic. Also, using cool water to clean up after using the restroom made a difference. For those first few days postpartum, I also used some Dulcolax tablets to keep things moving smoothly.

I definitely had a feeling... though looking back, maybe I was just convincing myself. 🤷 At the time, there wasn't a single symptom to point to... yet, I was pregnant. Coincidence, or something more? 🤷

So, I’m currently in the middle of trying to conceive—well, actually, I think it happened! Ten days ago, my period was supposed to show up, but nothing. I took a test that same day (honestly, I can't even remember which brand I grabbed from CVS), and it was negative. Since my period still hadn't arrived, I decided to try again six days after my expected start date using an Intim Plus test. This time, it showed a positive, but the line was super faint—like, exactly like that "faint" example you see in the instruction booklets 🤷
The instructions have these little diagrams: picture A shows a dark, bold positive (meaning you probably tested several days after your missed period), picture B shows a medium positive (likely testing right on the day your period was due), and picture C shows a weak, faint positive... which also means "pregnancy."
But now I'm overthinking everything. If I am pregnant, shouldn't the line be getting darker by now? It’s been ten days since my period was due, so I figured the hormone levels would be high enough to trigger a much stronger line. Why is it still so pale? Is it possible my hCG levels are just staying low? My OB-GYN won't see me for another ten days—she basically told me there's no point coming in sooner because they wouldn't be able to see anything on an ultrasound yet anyway.
Now I'm just spiraling a little bit, worrying about why that line isn't getting any darker 😕 😕 😕

I actually did three different tests, all different brands, and every single time it was just a barely visible plus sign.
First test—on the day my period was due.
Second test—two days later.
Third test—two days after that.
And lo and behold, I was pregnant. 😁

After two years together, my boyfriend and I finally decided to stop playing games and started trying for a baby during my fertile window (April 9-15)... we were pretty eager about it. I went in for an ultrasound on May 22nd, and the doctor told me he saw something looking like a gestational sac—about 8mm—and said there’s an 80% chance I'm pregnant. But I took a test yesterday and it came back negative... Is it even possible for a doctor to see something like an 8mm sac just 3 weeks and 3 days after my last period? It feels way too early. Now I'm just spiraling. Anyone else been through this?

Look, you're due for your period any day now. Honestly, I think you might have tested just a bit too early, which would explain the negative result (speaking from experience). Give it another day or two, then try again. If it’s positive, congratulations!
As for what the doctor saw, I can't say for sure. When I had my first scan, I was 5 weeks and 1 day along and the sac was only 4mm...🤷
But if that's what he's seeing, you're likely pregnant. Good luck, and please let us know how it goes.😘
Jamie Gonzalez said:Thank you so much😁... I’m honestly overjoyed about the positive test😍 but at the exact same time, I am incredibly—and I mean deeply—anxious about everything. Though, I suppose that’s just the standard experience for any expectant mother out there... I think I’ll be spending a bit more time hanging around this forum from now on; I’ve been lurking and reading through all your posts lately anyway, just trying to soak up as much information as possible 😁

First off, congrats on the pregnancy. 🙂 Indianapolis is going to be one little kid richer. 😍
Glad you're happy—you should be. It’s such a beautiful time. There will definitely be some tough days, but this community helped me through so many uncertainties; the women here are wonderful.👋 Take care of yourself and let us know what the doctor said.
If you don't mind me asking, which clinic are you seeing? (I'm from Indy myself)😍
Steven Scott51 said:Just wanted to let you all know—I lost the baby... again.😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢

Oh, man. 😢 I am so incredibly sorry. Hang in there. 😢 Third time's the charm, don't lose hope. 😘
Douglas Taylor2 said:But if two can show us how it's done, do you guys think there's any chance a third one could actually pull off a positive result? 😢

After two negatives, my third one was also negative... My period ended up being over a week late, which is unusual for me. It turns out it was all just stress because I was so obsessed with seeing a positive result. Once my period finally arrived, I tested again a month later—used a Clearblue at 10 PM, two days before my expected period—and it was positive right away. Just saying, don't lose hope if the third one is still negative. Wait for your period to pass, then 🙂 give it a shot 😍 with your partner.
Alex Newman8 said:I mean, how would my sister know anything about this? She isn't a doctor.
Honestly, I’d just go get a second opinion from a private specialist somewhere.

I'm with you on this. Don't take her word for it—even if I am a nurse myself🤔. They can be pretty 🙂 if they want to be. Definitely head to a private practice. Really hoping everything turns out fine.😘
