I’ve still got two weeks to go before my due date, yet I can't seem to escape the endless chorus of people commenting, "Well, at least you're still intact," or "So, what are you waiting for?" As if they’re the ones who get to decide when I’m actually allowed to start... honestly, I feel like I'm being suffocated by the unsolicited advice.
After dealing with seven weeks of constant nausea, I've hit the ten-week mark where vomiting has become a regular occurrence, typically hitting in the afternoons or late evenings.

Yesterday afternoon, I took a pregnancy test and there was a second line—it was pretty faint, but it definitely showed up.
Then, I tried an Intim Plus test this morning and that one came back negative.
My period is already three days late.
What do you all think is going on?

Just grab a First Response test and use your first urine in the morning, because isn't that the only way to be certain? It should run you about $13

I guess I’m still holding out hope that it actually shows up...
But once you're staring down a delay of over 10 days... well, not in this lifetime. That just hasn't happened before.

Mine was four days late, so I just swung by the CVS after work, picked up a pregnancy test, and used it the moment I walked through my front door—somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, I think. There was a line; it wasn't incredibly dark, but it was definitely there. I was just so happy... honestly, you should just take a test.

Should I go ahead and schedule a blood test for beta hCG at Mount Sinai?
I was really hoping to head over there as early as tomorrow morning, but nobody seems to be picking up the phone at the clinic anymore tonight. Does anyone happen to know their actual operating hours?

And why not just start with a home test?
