Ehhh Glo, I just got into a massive blowout with my own grandpa because he had the nerve to call me fat... then I asked my husband how he can even bear sitting next to me when I’m clearly getting bigger by the day... and he actually had the audacity to ask me that right there at the dinner table..
My mother-in-law is in the hospital right now, pregnant and feeling absolutely miserable with all the nausea and vomiting, so she's on an IV drip. We were talking about how she'll probably head home tomorrow, and then he goes and says this to us... basically that she's got it all in her head and isn't actually sick, like she's just making up drama in the hospital.

Anyway, I’m living with my grandma and grandpa right now.

And honestly, I won't even get into the whole Epi situation; people say you can just grab some whenever you need it in Indianapolis, but I'm not buying it for a second.

Plus, my husband is driving me absolutely insane lately 😢

Forgive me for being so blunt about a friend, but I honestly don't get it.

Oh, come on. Look, I love her, but she is as dim as a broken lightbulb. She tries to lecture me like, "Oh, I didn't realize babies cry," 🙂 and then she goes on and on about her kid, making it sound like he was being tortured or something, screaming and all that chaos. Meanwhile, my boy is such a sweetheart (well, except for the doctors). I went through so much pain during delivery, but I was just like, "Yeah, whatever, let's get this over with."
So my close friend just had her baby three months ago, and now she’s suddenly acting like some kind of pregnancy guru, lecturing me on how I should be "enjoying" this stage. She keeps going on and on about sleepless nights and all the other horrors waiting for me. Like, excuse me? I’ve already got a six-year-old at home dealing with his own health struggles, so trust me, I know what I'm doing—I haven't died yet! Honestly, she hasn't even hit the three-month mark and she can't even manage to whip up dinner for her little one without struggling.
fadedsurfer58, I went through the exact same thing about six years ago! When I found out I was pregnant at 18, the first question everyone asked was, "So, when are you getting married?" When I told them I didn't know, they were like, "What do you mean? You're having a baby, you can't just not be married!" It drove me absolutely insane! But hey, fast forward five years, I ended up marrying that same guy, and now we're actually expecting our second kid together!
Honestly, looking back, the worst part about my pregnancy was how everyone thought they had a right to grab my belly... and all that effort I wasted rubbing creams on stretch marks like some idiot. Then there’s my grandma, who still insists I gave my son a "girl's name." And yeah, I still carry some guilt because I listened to my in-laws when they told me it was totally fine to ignore the pain in my hips and kidneys—they actually claimed I just caught a chill by sitting in the AC during a 100-degree heatwave in my eighth month. Long story short, I ended up in the hospital with five fingers dilated at 34 weeks. The nurses were the absolute worst, too. Since I was only 18, they treated me like a total farm animal. They kept questioning if my boyfriend was even the father just because we were teenagers. Well, fast forward ten years later: we've been together forever and finally tied the knot three months ago. People used to constantly nag me about when I'd get married, so out of pure spite, I actually wed him just a week before our kid turned five. Then there was my mom forcing me to eat kiwis constantly, the fact that I gained 20 pounds, and dealing with heartburn from just drinking water. To top it off, everyone still looks at me and my husband like we're incompetent parents. Everyone loves to say your life is over once you have a kid—that everything just stops. From my experience? It doesn't stop; it actually starts. My husband and I still go out all the time, and we have a huge group of friends who drop by almost every other day. Our little guy absolutely loves the company. I definitely looked like a giant cinnamon roll in that last month, but hey, it happens. You just gotta look back and laugh.

It's actually possible! Look, these are businesses buying in bulk, not some random guy grabbing one thing from $2.75. They get different pricing and quantities than a regular household! Sales reps always have deals, like "buy 10 lbs of beef, get 3 free." A friend of mine runs a shop and sells Budweiser for $4.99, even though that's basically her wholesale cost! She says if she moves 10 cases, she gets 2 free, so she still makes a profit. It’s the same deal for them! But seriously, there's no way you charge $333 or more for a cake unless it's literally made of gold.
