I used to think women were just being dramatic on these forums whenever they talked about people touching their baby bumps.
But now that I’m actually pregnant myself, I get it... it’s such a weird, intrusive feeling. Especially when it's people who aren't exactly in my inner circle. Of course, I let my husband and my closest family touch, but I have this neighbor who constantly lunges at me to feel the belly. It really bugs me and makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable, but I just don't know how to be rude about it without making things awkward.

Hey everyone, fingers crossed I get an answer tonight 🙂 So, here’s the situation: I’m currently living in Canada, but I’m still using my American ID since I haven't received my local one yet. Can I actually pick up cash here in Canada using an American ID? Also, does the person sending me the money need to list my American address—the one on my ID—for the transfer to go through, or is there some other way? Thanks in advance.

quietcobra52 said:Hey ladies! Sadly, I couldn't make it to Facebook today to pick out a wedding dress—we're pushing it to next week instead. But I'm heading down to Columbus anyway since she needs to grab some tiles. Might as well swing by and see what kind of dresses they have there, right? I checked out the shops in St. Louis before and honestly... not a fan.
So, does anyone know if there's another bridal boutique in Columbus (in Canada) besides the one across from the pharmacy (on the way toward Ogden)?
Also, has anyone here actually been to a salon in Columbus—either personally or heard anything?

I live in St. Louis and can confirm the selection here isn't great either, though I've heard from some friends that things are better over in Columbus. I can't give you a specific address, though.
And hey, if any of you ladies are ever in St. Louis, let me know—I'd love to grab coffee.😁 😍

Also, does anyone know if there's anywhere to get cheaper roses from $3.25 around the 7th Moon?
The farmers market has them for $3.25/ unit

We used to just grab our juices in Canada and haul them across the border in bulk. 👍 It actually made a lot more sense that way since we were moving such a massive amount at once. 😉

Hey ladies 🙂 I tied the knot last July.
Our dinner was held at the Elegant ballroom on Island. Both my guests and I were absolutely thrilled with the venue.
The music was provided by a group from Indianapolis called Bolero Band. Those guys really knew how to set the mood—they played flawlessly and stuck to everything we had discussed. Huge props to them!
I’ve noticed some chatter about makeup issues lately. For my big day, I went with the owner of the Esenca salon. My makeup stayed flawless from 10 AM all the way until 5 in the morning without needing a single touch-up. She charged me $83. It was worth it, especially since I live about 25 miles away from Vinkovci. There were four of us getting our faces done. As for my hair, a friend of mine who's a stylist handled that.
Originally, I had an arrangement with Ana Coric, but then a few of my close friends experienced the absolute worst-case scenario: the pro just doesn't show up on the wedding day. I kept praying that wouldn't happen to me. Makeup services go for $117, which feels steep when you consider she uses brands like Max Factor or L'Oreal—you know, those basic drugstore things. If I'm dropping $117, I want high-end, professional quality. This whole thing started stressing me out, but the final straw was when she demanded a $83 deposit a full month before the wedding just to guarantee her presence because July is such a busy month 😕. That’s when I lost my cool. I ended up cutting ties with her and gave Esenca a call instead. Luckily, they had an opening that morning. We agreed she’d arrive around 9:00. She actually showed up at 8:40, we grabbed a quick coffee and chatted, and then she did all four of us up. Everyone walked away happy. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask. I'm here to help. 🙂

There are other good ones out there, but they don't have their own private practices; they're stuck working in the hospital wards, which is a shame. Look, Zdenka JApundžić-presuper is an incredible woman: conscientious, professional, hilarious, highly responsible, and she has a mountain of experience. Oh, and yeah, she’s basically a psychic when it comes to determining the baby's gender. 😉)

Soto is my doctor and she's totally fine. Plus, Soto mentioned that about a month ago, they started opening up new patient files again with Japundzicka.

Rebecca Adams35 said:So, I'm pregnant and looking for a gynecologist in Indianapolis. I was wondering if any of you ladies know someone good and could give me some recommendations? Right now, I'm mostly interested in doctors who take Medicaid.

Look, right now you have Sanja Soto and Zdenka Japundzic, both of whom are decent doctors where you can get set up with a patient file. You also have Mirta Kadivnik, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend her...
Look, let's break this down logically. First off, you were having sex on the very last day of your period, so the odds of conception are basically zero. Second, those symptoms you listed? They aren't definitive proof of anything; honestly, it’s just as likely you're feeling them because you're hyper-focused on the idea of being pregnant. Third—and this is the kicker—you took two tests and they both came back NEGATIVE!! Plus, your period actually showed up. You aren't pregnant, Zeno.
Jamie Turner11 said:Look, don't jump down my throat immediately—I’m just here hoping for a little bit of reassurance or maybe some kind of pep talk. So, my last period started on June 30th. My cycle is usually a rock-solid four weeks, which means I was expecting it yesterday, July 28th. It hasn't shown up. Over the last eight years, I think it's only been late about five times. We had sex on the 7th, 15th, 20th, and 26th, but based on my math, none of those were my fertile days. We didn't use a condom, but he pulled out, and he keeps telling me there's practically zero chance I'm pregnant, but still... :/ I'm feeling really weird because it's late, and honestly, I'm freaking out because getting pregnant right now is the absolute last thing I want. I've been reading through the threads here, but I don't have any of the typical symptoms. Yesterday, I had to run to the bathroom three times, which is super unusual for me, so maybe that's just the sheer anxiety talking. I'm not feeling that usual pre-period ache, though I did have some sharp pains for maybe two minutes the day before yesterday. Now, I'm just dealing with this intense cramping in my lower abdomen 😢 I know, I know, I need to take a test to be sure, but has anyone dealt with something similar? Maybe someone can help calm me down until I can grab a test tomorrow. (It's Sunday and every pharmacy around here is closed—honestly, it's infuriating!)
Right now, I'm just praying to God that I'm not pregnant, because if I am, I seriously have no idea what I'm going to do.
Help me out 😢

Nobody is going to tear you down here; this is exactly why we exist, to give each other advice. Look, my advice is to try and stop obsessing over it. If you aren't pregnant, your period will come, but dwelling on it like this is only going to delay it further and spike your anxiety... it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Isn't there a 24-hour CVS or Walgreens in a nearby city? Just grab the cheapest test tomorrow and take it; if you're late and pregnant, any brand will show you the result. Also, even if you are pregnant, it isn't the end of the world. You might become a mom sooner than you planned, but you'll see in time that you'll find happiness regardless. Prepare yourself for either outcome, though I personally think you aren't pregnant. Regardless, just take the test so you can finally relax. 🙂 Just stay smart and let us know how it goes.

Ladies, does anyone actually know which flower shop in the County is worth visiting?
