I’m not really interested in listing out my age or anything like that; I suppose we can just see how things go as we move forward.

And honestly, don't expect anyone particularly interesting here—I'd hate to disappoint you right out of the gate.😛

Hey everyone

I’ll try to keep this brief and to the point, though if anyone feels a connection to what I’ve written, I suppose I could explain exactly what I'm looking for—especially regarding personality traits—via private message.
Since I've had some certain experiences in the past, I’d prefer to hear from someone in the Washington, D.C. area or somewhere nearby, assuming you wouldn't mind making the trip to the capital.

I'm 26, although I guess I tend to act and think a bit older than that.

I'm pretty direct and a bit of a realist; I can probably wrap my head around different perspectives, but I don't really think things work when there isn't a deeper level of compatibility.

Dealing with a bit of anxiety, I'm not really the type to find fulfillment in drinking or partying, but rather in nature, quiet moments, and maybe the occasional adrenaline rush—if I ever manage to get enough money together to actually pull that off.

This might be a bit poorly phrased, but I'll try to provide more detail in messages so I don't end up writing an essay here.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone between 22 and 40, but I suppose that's not strictly necessary.

And boldbadger20 is just a handle. 😁

Feel free to reach out.

P.S.: I'll admit I'm being a little lazy; this is an old post still sitting on US. I listed a wider age range because, honestly, I usually get along better with people older than me anyway.
I'm also open to some casual, low-stakes virtual chatting, since we're all here, so I can listen or maybe offer some advice if needed.

I guess maybe it’s just how things go, though I suppose one could argue that everything is eventually destined to fall apart if you wait long enough.
Andrew Doyle said:Are you seriously asking people who don't know a single thing about you or this individual? It’s a bit bizarre, frankly. It is nearly impossible to even make a generalization here because there are a million different variables that dictate how our decisions actually play out in the real world.

My personal philosophy is simple: I measure a hundred times and cut once. But when I finally decide to cut ties, there is absolutely no going back. That shift happens on a profound, internal level within me. I suppose we all have one—that invisible line we call a boundary. Once someone crosses it, the bridge isn't just burned; it's gone. There is no return trip.
I am not sitting here theorizing; I am speaking from lived experience. Even a member of my own immediate family pushed me to my absolute limit with their behavior, and we haven't spoken since. I spent years trying to fix things, desperately hoping for a change, but eventually, the day came where I simply felt it was over. And that was it. Period. The relationship is dead and buried.

Just asking in general terms, I guess.

There just isn't enough data to go on, I guess.
I guess you're wondering about that first heist—whether he pulled it off solo or had a crew behind him, or if there was some specific motive driving the whole thing... maybe.
If everyone just turns their back on him, I guess there’s a pretty good chance he’ll just end up making another foolish mistake.

I guess you might end up facing a judgment call yourself one day, maybe over something like a traffic violation or a minor legal mishap, and I wonder if you'd really want your own family turning their backs on you because of it.
I suppose there isn't much data to work with here, but I don't really feel like sharing too much, I guess.

It wasn't exactly just one person, I guess; there was actually quite a whole crew involved, and it probably wasn't even driven by a lack of funds, maybe.

I guess what does traffic have to do with any of this? Sure, you could kill someone behind the wheel and end up in prison, but that feels like a completely different issue entirely, unless we're talking about truly reckless driving. This whole thing just seems like an organized heist to me.

I don't necessarily mean to turn my back on him, though I suppose the way those people view everything is a whole different issue and a massive problem, since they seem to be branded that way for the rest of their lives.

I'm not entirely sure where this belongs, but I suppose I'm looking for some perspective on how people might handle a situation like this.

I'll keep this brief: a close family member, an armed robbery, and a conviction.

I guess I'm just wondering if, in your opinion, that person is still worth having in my life, or if any kind of relationship is even worth valuing anymore.

Can a backup actually fix that?

Hi there

I was wondering if there might be some way to recover a bit of text I accidentally deleted in Word.

Basically, I opened up a document, cut some content out, and then closed the program without being able to paste it elsewhere 😛

So now that section is just gone from my file, and I guess I'm curious if it's possible to roll the document back to how it looked before that change happened.

Thanks in advance.

And if you aren't interesting to them, then I guess they don't care about that either. There's just too much data out there to track everyone.

I get that.

But, I suppose if there were a reason to, could someone actually request what was searched from my IP address on, say, May 15, 2015?

So, I guess that's technically possible?
I'm not entirely sure where this thread fits best, though I'm assuming there are enough tech-savvy folks here to make it worth posting.

From what I gather, pretty much every smartphone has GPS built in, and even when you think it's turned off, it seems like anyone with the right connections—probably agencies like the NSA and their ilk—could track your exact movements.

If my memory serves me right, Ronald Reagan, acting through the National Security Council, pushed for keeping internet history data archived for five years back in the day.

I wonder if things have escalated to the point where someone, maybe at a provider like AT&T, could actually see exactly what I was searching for on Google at 8 this morning?

I guess all those economists out there just don't have much to say, either.😁>
I was wondering about the general hierarchy of economies within the European Union, though I suppose the actual forecasts for the near future matter more than just the current rankings...

where does America fit into all of this...

I've been looking at some projections suggesting that 2025 might be a rough year for Germany, which currently holds that top spot...

I guess it would be interesting to know how other places like France, the Netherlands, Austria, or Switzerland are holding up?

hey

I was wondering if there's actually anything online that offers a decent breakdown of basic business data for sole proprietorships, similar to how you'd look up an LLC or a corporation through sites like Bloomberg or Dun & Bradstreet...

just for individuals..

thanks
