So, I just caught wind that Erykah Badu is actually working on a new album. Honestly, about time! After everything we've seen lately, it feels like we desperately need some real artistry back in the spotlight.
Chemical is playing at Coachella on June 17th, so honestly, they might actually stand a chance there.😕
It looks like all signs are pointing toward one thing... their next tour won't happen until 2017. 😢
Since Erykah Badu just had her baby, she might pull a few shows over here in the States, but there’s absolutely no way she’s performing around here anytime soon.

Eventually, security had to shut the whole set down just to make sure she didn't get hurt. *Tomorrow in a Year* is actually an opera they co-created with a Japanese choreographer... and since the production is currently touring, the closest show to us would be in Chicago. I think there might be some Danes involved in the project too, though I can't say for sure.
Personally, I highly doubt we'll see a new album before 2012. If you consider it, the Fever Ray album is basically a fourth studio record because Olof is constantly contributing vocals.
As for the first post, when The Knife went on tour back in 2006, it was easily one of the fastest sell-outs in history. 😁

It’s honestly nonsense. When did I ever claim to support that stuff? I never did. I don't have any connection to that kind of ideology whatsoever.

Tony is gone, so maybe you could say there weren't any chants at Tony's concerts? 😉 There aren't any at Thompson's either.

Tony never sang songs glorifying crimes, people don't wear extremist gear at Tony's shows, Thompson gives money to the church while Tony does Humanitarian Work, and Thompson's concerts just attract uneducated crowds.

They've really crossed the line over the last few months. Ever since they started airing those edited clips on CBS that misrepresent me with inaccurate reporting, the editors have been sending out provocateurs. They wear fascist symbols, give Nazi salutes, downplay our crowd sizes, and basically just thrive on targeting us. We finally decided enough is enough—we're done dealing with them.

I condemn every crime, no matter who commits it. The haters just want to create more division and twist our history. The facts are right there, and hopefully, historians can look at those facts and find the actual truth.

Look, my sources go back to 2008, and if yours are from 2005, then I guess it doesn't really matter who people end up believing. But honestly, hearing someone insist that Thompson didn't distance himself from certain things or claim he never condemned specific issues... it just really gets under my skin. ☕

1. Tony never had Axis sympathizers at his concerts. This whole thing is just a provocation. It isn't funny to mock the dead, no matter how much you might despise them.

2. He didn't quote you, so you can't claim this was aimed at you.

Now, if Axis supporters are gathering at a Thompson concert (and we all know there are some at every single one), then it’s only logical that they are gravitating toward a certain figure—an icon, so to speak. They are uniquely present at Thompson's shows. Isn't that strange?
Thompson can say a billion times over that he isn't one of them, but the crowd at his concerts speaks volumes!

Patriotism is a term that signifies love for one's homeland.

Therefore, Thompson sings about patriotism (which fits the definition perfectly).
Does that make Thompson a bigger patriot than you, me, or anyone else out there? Just because he writes songs about it?
