Two hours flew by in what felt like minutes. It’s a movie about some contract deal and a pair of sneakers. 😁 One of the better ones I've seen lately, and honestly, it's a blast. I love the eighties; this really took me back. A solid, relaxing feel-good flick.

And I would too. 🤦 The trailer really sold me, but the actual movie is an absolute disaster. It’s pretty hard to sit through and lacks any sense of humor. What happened? I think even the kids were bored; you could hear quite a bit of restless shuffling and whispering throughout the theater.
With a 1:3 mortgage ratio, the bank is covered regardless—they’ll make their money back even if someone defaults. Given how much borrowing costs have spiked lately, I’m not entirely sure where we stand right now. Is interest still sitting at 9%, or has it climbed even higher?
The interest rate is sitting at 9%. I’m sure banks here offer better deals, but what does it matter when we didn't even qualify for credit in the first place?
Of course you can. You might expect to shell out 5% of the loan amount just for an appraisal. In our case, the bank only charged us a 2% processing fee, and that was the end of it. I'm not sure how your experience went, but everything was pretty straightforward on our end. After the appraiser finished, a representative from JP Morgan Chase actually came by to personally verify that the valuation matched the actual condition of the property. As for those freezes or pay stubs, I can't say. We just pulled some documents from the IRS and attached them. And no, it’s not like every loan gets approved automatically. That’s just my experience.

If you have an unencumbered property, that might be your way in. There are plenty of scammers and predatory lenders out there, but there are also legitimate people working through actual lawyers and notaries. Just be careful; if you don't have equity in a house, you probably aren't getting a loan anywhere. Just make sure you don't fall for any predatory schemes or pay anyone upfront for things like life insurance or "processing fees." You should only ever pay costs once the loan actually clears. Good luck!
That’s exactly how it works. My husband and I both run small businesses, and since we couldn't get traditional domestic financing, we went with RBA in Leibnitz—specifically a mortgage-backed loan. That's all they care about: whether the title is clear and the equity is unencumbered. We send our payments to Leibnitz, not locally. We didn't overextend ourselves, so even with a five-year term, the monthly payments are manageable. For the most part, we're comfortably ahead of the curve.
It’s called eye floaters. I only get them occasionally, though I haven't quite figured out what triggers them. Sometimes I try to "catch" them or focus on them, but it's a lost cause 😁
So, for some reason, I can't get my emojis to show up in posts anymore. It’s a recent thing—I don't know exactly when it started, but I used to be able to include them without any issues. Does anyone have a clue what I might have messed up? Maybe I accidentally toggled an option off somewhere?

Yeah, in her backyard shed.🙄 I mean...
A general hospital, the OB-GYN intake clinic. At least you get a receipt to justify the costs 😛.
I honestly can't wrap my head around those prices—are we talking $2,000 or $3,000? $0.00 If you go to a private specialist, sure, maybe. But why not just use your insurance and a referral from your doctor? I assume they won't even put it in your permanent medical record.
It’s done through the hospital via the standard process. You show up first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, fill out the paperwork, and they give you an IV injection that leaves you feeling so lightheaded you can barely stand on your own. They handle the cleaning in about two or three minutes, then you just hang out in the recovery room for another couple of hours—or however long you feel like staying—before heading home. Just make sure to bring a nightgown and some slippers. $200.
I caramelize a good amount of sugar until it hits a light brown shade, pour in some water, and toss in two sliced onions. Let it simmer on low heat for about half an hour. The kids love it.
I've got one too. For coughs. Onion tea. It sounds a bit bland, I know, but it actually works. The best part? You can barely even taste the onion, yet it does the job.
I haven’t heard much about this specific balm, though I am familiar with Noni. I haven’t tried it myself, but I know plenty of people who have. People claim there's been a noticeable improvement in overall health, but is that actual progress or just the placebo effect? Hard to say. For those wondering, Noni comes from a plant that only grows in Hawaii and blooms once a year. It’s pricey, too—you’re looking at about $133 per liter.
