Just another typical piece of Hollywood trash.
God, I’m such an idiot for wasting my afternoon on this.

And look, from what I hear, he's one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood right now and his movies kill at the box office. God help us. He isn't even in the same league as Arnold or the icons who came before him. It's a disgrace.
Arnold, Sly, and Bruce were absolute gods of cinema back in the 80s and 90s. And they weren't just action guys; they had way more range than Johnson.
The only two roles where The Rock actually impressed me were The Rundown and Fast Five.
In all his recent stuff, he just plays himself, and let's be real, his "himself" persona is incredibly irritating.
RDJ can pull it off because he's charming, though.

Nope, not even close.
steelfox98 said:A miserable movie that fails to blend Pirate vibes and character chemistry with anything resembling Mummy. The plot is boring, and The Rock and Emily don't have anything going on like Frazier and Rachel Weisz did.
You can tell from the movie and the interviews that Emily looks like she's got a gun to her head whenever she's with Dwayne.
Lawrence Richardson13 said:Honestly, a boring movie for me. The Rock doesn't fit the role at all, especially when they try to force a romance with Emily, lol. And of course, it's a Disney movie—the guy is just a total tool who adds nothing to the film, but whatever, he's just a tool.
Yeah, plus all the mandatory suffragette elements, fearless alpha women, dirty male pigs, and clueless young men. Dwayne checks all the required boxes for the modern movie checklist. They screwed up by not having any Asian actors or people with disabilities; huge minus from me, didn't feel inclusive enough. 👎
What is even left of Hollywood these days? I mean, honestly... I’m half expecting the big revelation in the fifth Indiana movie to be that Indiana was actually just a fluid pansexual this whole time.
