Back pain from large breasts: Any tips? in Women's Health ·
Angela Martin2 said:I was honestly in shock when everything changed overnight once I hit 10 or 11... the breasts, the body hair, my period... did any of you have issues with your size during childhood (if you can even call age 11 childhood)?

I definitely did. Between being teased by other girls at school (I think the boys didn't realize what was happening until later), dealing with gym class embarrassment, and trying to hide myself, it was tough. Later on, I constantly felt like a target for creepy stares from random guys out in the city... 🙄

Generally speaking, I remember that whole transition from childhood through puberty as this silent agreement where we just tolerated each other rather than actually liking one another.

Real self-love didn't kick in until much later, probably once I finally understood what those changes were actually capable of 😍 (getting discounts, getting into clubs for free, free drinks, and all those other little perks 😂 along with various adult activities ☕).

Hehe, I second every single word here... it's like I wrote it myself. 👍

Everything stays right where it should (well, except when I'm lying down—then everything just shifts everywhere depending on how I pose). They're super comfy too. Honestly, they can even be cheaper than Fox. Last time I checked out Fox, the bras felt like something you'd find at a flea market. Oh, and they don't lose their shape after washing.

The only downside is when the straps are thin; that gets uncomfortable fast.

My shoulder finally stopped hurting, thank God. 🙏
This time it was a marathon—two and a half weeks straight.
I'm heading for a massage in about ten days. I really need this...

I almost forgot. But I have to share this. My ear hurts because of my breasts. Yes, you read that right. My ear. It's because the pain hits my shoulder and my neck, and then my neck sends it straight to my ear. It's not an infection; my ear only hurts when my shoulder does. It's crazy. 🤣

I don't know. You mentioned the thin straps, and I'm worried they'll dig into my skin...
And the ear thing... seriously? I can't believe it...
But I guess pain can "radiate" anywhere... 😢

I’m also struggling to find a bra that actually does its job. Right now, I mostly rely on string bras because they're the only ones I trust, but it's hard to justify experimenting with new brands when the prices are so high. That's why I wanted to ask: how do you all feel about Triumph bras? I've noticed they have some great models—even in larger sizes—and the price point seems to be right around what I pay for my string bras, maybe even a little cheaper.

Also, has anyone with a larger bust tried wearing a bodysuit? I’d love to give one a shot, but I’m worried it might just pull down and cause everything to spill out. A bodysuit from Victoria's Secret is about $117, which doesn't seem too bad when you consider a single bra can cost $83.

It’s like, "Oh, she’s gained some weight, so she’s not part of the group anymore."

I’m honestly feeling pretty let down. I noticed the shift happening a while ago, but now it’s actually starting to sting...

I have always been the one holding this entire social circle together. But now that I'm pregnant and my energy isn't what it used to be... I don't know. I can't go hiking up steep trails or stay out all night at a concert in downtown Chicago, and I definitely can't spend an entire day trekking through the Rockies on my feet. Suddenly, I guess we aren't "fun" anymore...

My husband tells me I shouldn't let it get to me—he’s just not wired that way. That actually made me incredibly angry. Actually, more than angry... disappointed.

Anyway, just needed to vent for a second...

Honestly, you don't even need "friends" like that. I just don't get people. For what it's worth, I'm not pregnant, but I had a friend who just suddenly stopped hanging out with me. I have no idea why... she never gave me a REASON. We were close for a long time. It felt terrible (and it still does)...😕
But I'm not going to chase after her while she's busy ignoring me either...😕

The truth is, some people don't even deserve the title of friend because they aren't. A real friend stays by your side regardless of the circumstances.😁
