cosmicviper21 said:Honestly, what really gets under my skin is how everyone keeps interrogating me about what we're naming the baby, and even though we tell everyone over and over that we just don't know yet, I still get those annoying comments like, "How can you not know? You have to pick a name!" One time I actually slipped up and mentioned a suggestion to my mom, and then the comments started rolling in: "What's wrong with that one?" or "That's not really a name, maybe try something else..." ughhhhhhhh!!!😠😠😠But you want to know the absolute worst part? My mom went ahead and blabbed everything to some of her coworkers at the office, and now I'm just...😠And then she has the nerve to turn around and tell me, "You know, one of my colleagues said she didn't really like that name either." Like, why do I even care if some random lady at work doesn't like it? Good grief!!! So today, I finally snapped and told her straight up that it isn't a name the kid is actually getting and that we aren't telling a single soul until the baby is born, and now she's acting all offended and trying to squeeze information out of my little guy about what his sister's name will be, but seriously, no comment!!! I just had to vent for a second, ughhhhhhh!!!

🤣🤣 We did the exact same thing with my mom, where people would say a name and she'd go, "Oh, that reminds me of that one guy, and I can't stand him..." blah blah blah... and then a week or two later she'd be asking us again if we've picked anything, so I just tell her we have, but we aren't sharing it until the baby arrives😁 and everyone is just so pushy... they keep digging for a name and trying to pry it out of us, but we are definitely not giving in😁
Don't let it get to you, it's clearly just their little game because at the end of the day, it's not their kid... and hey, if I decide to name the baby Batman, they don't have any right to say a word about it! 😂
So, there I am at 1:03 PM, standing right at the door of my dentist’s office, ready to get this over with...
Then the dental assistant looks me dead in the eye and goes, "Oh, we aren't seeing anyone else today," ☕"we stop taking patients at 1:00 sharp."
I mean, I was stunned, so I told her, "Wait a second, the sign on your front door clearly says you're open until 2:30!!!!"
And she just gives me this shrug and goes, "Yeah, yeah, but we wrap up appointments by 1:00 because we have to spend the rest of the afternoon on sterilization, so you should just come back tomorrow during our afternoon hours."☕It was just one of those moments where logic completely flies out the window!

I was absolutely losing my mind yesterday when I had to swing by the IRS just to get a stamp—because apparently, I still need those, because our system is just working so incredibly smoothly, right? 🙄 And this lady looks at me and goes, "Oh, I see it's been six months since your last check-in... I'll have to schedule an appointment for you," and then she actually gives me a date of November 2nd—which is literally only a week before my due date!!!!—just so I can come in for an individual consultation to revise my business plan!! 😕😕 wtf?!?!? 😠😠
🙂🙂🙂🙂
Edward Rodriguez4 said:Honestly, this kind of crap just makes me absolutely LIVID!!! At first, I was just sitting there laughing nervously, feeling super awkward and turning bright red. But then my hormones kicked in and I just stopped giving a damn. Now? I snap right back at them, and trust me, it isn't pretty. The last time someone tried it, I just looked them dead in the eye and said, "Yeah, maybe I'll lose the weight, but you're still gonna be an idiot forever." 😁
And man, does that feel good!

🤣🤣 Girl, 🤣🤣

Ugh, I can still hear those comments ringing in my ears... even though people have mostly stopped saying them lately, it's fine, because now it's just their stares that get to me... they look at me like I'm some kind of 😲
like they just stumbled upon a freaking hippo walking on two legs in the middle of a Starbucks☕
Ugh, I am seriously losing my mind with all the stuff I keep overhearing... 🙄 (not even counting those constant 😲 comments from my mother-in-law whenever she catches a glimpse of my belly...)

Scene 1:
Random Guy: "So, when's the big day?"
Me: "November 10th."
Random Guy: "Oh man, that’s a Scorpio... uhh... maybe you should try to push it back so it's a Sagittarius instead."
WTF?

Scene 2: (My friend's mom)
Her: "Oh my goodness, you look like you're about to pop!"
Me: 🙄
Her: "How much longer?"
Me: "6 weeks."
Her: "Gosh, I just hope you can make it through two more weeks so you hit the third trimester and can finally catch your breath. Is it a girl or a boy?"
Me: "Nope..." It's Johnny 😍
Her: "Aw, it's such a shame it's not a girl, especially since he already has a sonb> (yeah, he has a son from a previous marriage)...
😲
And oh my gosh, how many times have I heard variations of that exact same thing... "Oh, another little boy..." "Ah, it would've been better if it were a girl since he already has a son..."
I mean, seriously... so what if he already has a son? So what, he gets to have another one too! ☕ Besides, this is my very first baby... 😍
Honestly, everyone needs to just get off my back (as Tony would say) 🤣

And as far as shopping for clothes and gear goes... honestly, I would have loved to start buying everything the second I found out I was pregnant, but hey, who am I kidding, nobody's letting me do anything! 🤣
Tyler Ruiz502 said:Man... you really hit a nerve there... it reminded me exactly how it feels when you're finally starting to feel all turned on and wild, and then, right in the middle of foreplay, the baby starts kicking from inside like, "Hey, excuse me, what do you think you're doing out there?" 😬

It’s a total mood killer.👎

neonwolf6 said:Yeah, exactly. Same story here. 🙄
It just throws everything completely out of whack. 👎

Edward Rodriguez4 said:I actually get kind of embarrassed after sex sometimes... like, does the baby seriously know what we were just up to?! 🤔
But I don't get that tapping sensation, or maybe I just haven't experienced it during the act yet. What really kills me is breathing like a pig after a workout and dealing with this constant bladder pressure... 🙄

And don't even get me started on names! Since I'm stuck out here in the rural Midwest, everyone expects those old-school, traditional names like Bertha, Mildred, or Gladys... ☕

🤣🤣😂😂 honestly I just tell mine that Mommy and Daddy are playing a little game and that they should probably be a good 🤣

Ugh, it drives me absolutely crazy how everyone—and I mean every single person I meet—keeps asking if I'm planning on having more babies right this second 🙂 by now I really should have gotten used to the questions 🙄 but I just can't handle it.. whenever I mention I still have about a month and a half left, people give me this look like I've grown two heads, like.. oh wow, since your belly is so small a belly.. are you even sure there's only one in there?? 🙂
So I popped into this local pharmacy earlier today and noticed they were stocking Chicco products, so I figured I’d just go ahead and ask if they happened to carry any pads too, since I see everyone raving about them all the time 😍, and the guy behind the counter looks at me like I have two heads and goes, "What kind of pads? You mean nursing pads?" 😕 Like, seriously? I had to tell him, "No, I mean standard feminine hygiene pads!" (I was definitely being extra loud just to make sure he actually understood what I was talking about 😁)
Then he gets all snappy and rude with me, just bluntly saying, "No, we don't have those!" So naturally, I asked, "Well, could you maybe order some in for me?" And he just shouts "NO!" right in my face and glares at me like I'm some kind of criminal... 🤷
🙄 Honestly, I was being perfectly pleasant to him, but he starts raising his voice and staring me down like I just walked up and asked him to smuggle ten grams of cocaine into the building 🙄, rather than just asking for a simple pack of pads..... 🙂
Douglas Booth22 said:I’ve dealt with this frustration myself. I showed up for blood work only to be told I couldn't get it done. Apparently, they only schedule prenatal labs on the first and third Wednesday of the month between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. Fine. But when I returned for my second attempt, the waiting room was packed, including several other pregnant women, so we were stuck waiting. That isn't even the main issue—I feel perfectly fine—it’s more about the principle. Sitting there in a crowded room full of people who might actually be seriously ill feels like an unnecessary risk just to pick up a lab result.

What kind of policy is that even supposed to be?? 😕
It’s just ridiculous! I’ve never heard anything like it before...

Lately, there's just really, really little that actually gets under my skin.. 🤣I've become so incredibly chill about everything, but the one thing that absolutely sends my blood pressure through the roof is when people insist on being rude and saying things like, "Wow, you've gotten so big!" or "Look how much weight you've put on!" whenever they see me 😠I just seriously cannot stomach that kind of attitude... 😳
frozenpanther18 said:Ha, ha... I thought the name Alegro was fantastic, but then the commentary started... "you need to pick an American name," or "what kind of nickname will she use?" blah, blah, blah. They even told me they passed on that name before. So, they went with Leona—which, let’s be honest, feels incredibly bland and hollow. Whatever. If anyone asks, I'll just tell them her name is Anna and leave it at that. She'll be called whatever I decide, period.

We finally picked a name, but we made a pact to keep it a total secret until the little one is actually born... 😉
It's the best way to dodge all those unnecessary arguments! 🤣
And let's be real, the baby is going to be named exactly what you two decide👍 so please don't stress about what everyone else has to say... if you love it, go for it! There will always be people rolling their eyes regardless, but honestly, it's not worth the headache 😁
I honestly don't even know what to say anymore... it’s just constant, seriously, people are always, always asking me if I'm about to pop or if I've started counting down the days until the baby arrives! 😕
I mean, why on earth am I soooooo big?! 🤣
Sam White62 said:Well, yeah, you have to figure it out. Personally, my strategy is usually to head STRAIGHT to the register (say, at Walmart or Kroger, using the express lane for pregnant women or people with disabilities) and just ask the cashier, "Excuse me, can I go ahead?" If she glares at me, well, she's not the first one to do it. ☕ Or if someone in line tries to protest—and none of them are actually disabled or pregnant—well, too bad. Ugh.

In those smaller corner stores, people usually just react on their own... or I just won't even bother going in if I see a line stretching from 1.2 miles....

🙏 Good for you, seriously... I actually get so embarrassed when people are sweet enough to let me cut in front of them🙄 and I could never be as bold as you are 🙏

The other day this guy actually shoved past me in a pharmacy, even though he was right in front of me and there were two women ahead of him (an older lady and a young girl)..
And man, I feel so awkward, like when I'm waiting in line at the grocery store for some bread.. I'd probably be buying a whole bunch of stuff, and then some lady will call me up from further back in the line and I'll only say one thing because I just can't stand the idea of holding up the entire queue after she was kind enough to let me go first... 🤦
Sarah Harris5 said:You guys have to see what this patient just sent me 🙄
I'm not even gonna get worked up over it, I'm way too hungry 😁 I've got some veggie soup and bolognese waiting for me 😬>

🤣
oh man, I saw that... there is really no point in even trying to argue with her, you know? It honestly feels like she just sits there with this huge, triumphant grin on her face whenever someone quotes her like that, especially when she realizes she's actually getting under our skin.. there are definitely things she said that rubbed me the wrong way too, but life is way too short to blow a fuse or end up with a stomach ulcer just because of some total nonsense from people like her..

🙂
My mom is at it again... seriously! 🙄
I’m quoting her here: "Gosh, you're getting so big, every single time I see you you look heavier... (and she just saw me a week ago!)... it's like you're about to pop any second, hahaha! I mean, look at you (she points right at my shoulders) — you're just so... big everywhere..."
And honestly, I just stood there staring at her with this pale, speechless look on my face..

Then, right as we were heading out the door, she eyes my T-shirt—it’s got a graphic print on it that’s a little stretched out, you know, because it was already a bit loose when I bought it and then the washing machine did its thing... anyway, she looks at it and goes: "Oh my goodness, look at that shirt, that's definitely from being washed too much... those things are practically bursting! How much milk are you going to have? You'll be a regular little dairy farmer!" I was just like, wtf...?? The whole dairy farmer comment actually made me chuckle a little bit, I guess, but all that stuff about my weight... 😲😲😲
🙂
So, I headed downtown today because I had some paperwork I absolutely had to drop off at City Hall, but of course, it’s absolutely pouring rain out there! I finally managed to trudge my way through the storm and get inside the building, and just as I'm getting settled, they go, "Attention valued citizens, we would like to inform you..." and then blah blah blah—basically telling us that even today is a free day for them to take our money! 😠
Then, I swung by the local Post Office, right? And I'm standing there waiting, and the lady behind the counter is just chatting away on her phone, completely ignoring me, even though I was actually first in line! Then, out of nowhere, this older woman just marches right up and cuts right in front of me, looks me dead in the eye, and says, "I just need to buy a money order..." and I just looked back at her and said, "Well, I just need to buy an envelope!" 🙂 honestly, I think🙄
She ended up giving up and just walking out 🤣
Oh, please, don't even get me started on all that heavy yard work and digging around.. 🤣 I can barely manage to pick up a single stray sock off the floor to carry it over to the patio just to hang up the laundry 🤣
...And you know what really gets under my skin? It’s when someone asks how I’m doing, and I try to be honest—like, I'll say everything is wonderful, truly, but then I'll mention that my back is acting up a bit or that I haven't been sleeping great lately.. and then comes that inevitable response: "Oh, well, you know, it's just because you're pregnant, what else could it be?" I mean, seriously, wtf 😕
Nicholas Doyle91, honestly, you should have just told that lady right then and there to let her colleague take her place in the delivery room instead... 😠
..I mean, what is it with women, really? You’d think at the very least you could expect some level of basic solidarity from them, you know? Like they actually get what you're going through... I truly believe that... 🙄
hollowmarlin49 said:Ugh, let me tell you about this absolute nightmare at the grocery store yesterday. My husband was busy watching a movie, so I just popped out real quick to grab some chips and crackers. I grabbed what I needed, but then I had to squeeze past the deli section, and the aisle was tiny because Diana had stocked it way too full. There’s this lady standing there waiting for her ham, so I politely asked if she could move just a bit so I could pass. And this woman—I kid you not—looks at me and goes, "Fine, I'll move, but look how 😲." Excuse me?!?!? Like, seriously? Will you please just step aside? Instead of being decent, she swings her backpack right at me and hits me in the stomach. Honestly, I can't even write down what I screamed at her without needing a drink, but let's just say I shoved both her and that bag right back... man, I was actually shaking. I mean, how much of an idiot do you have to be to act like that? Commenting on my size (when I'm literally due to give birth this month!) and then swinging a bag at me? If she had said anything after I shoved her away, I think my baby would've ended up being born in a county jail. Just thinking about it makes me so mad again, which is why I didn't want to post this, but I just couldn't let it go. Lady, rot in hell :2up:

EDIT: My husband won't even let me go back to the store now.

😲😲
Oh my goodness, I honestly didn't think people like that actually existed in the real world... yuck, what a nasty woman... if that were me, I would have straight up spit in her face 😠 and then hit her back with her own bag! Honestly, I am just sitting here in total shock...
..I am so incredibly sorry you had to deal with that... 🙂
cosmicviper21 said:Alright, I gotta brag a little bit because I just had a major win today. So, I walk into a local CVS with my little one, who was absolutely parched, and I grab just two quick things from the aisle. But when I get to the checkout line, I see 😲 this massive, never-ending line 😢 and honestly, part of me just wanted to drop everything and bail right then and there. But you know how it goes, some stubborn part of my brain wouldn't let it go. 😁 So, I end up walking straight up to the cashier and telling her, "Look, I can't wait, I've only got these two items," and she was an absolute legend—she just took them without missing a beat, and not a single person in that line even dared to say a word. 😁

👍😍

Usually, I don't have any issues at all, really, people are actually super nice and polite most of the time... they'll let me slip ahead, or the ladies working the deli counter at Safeway will give me a little extra or let me jump the queue...
But today? Today was just something else... it was like I didn't exist to anyone, seriously 🤷 ...everyone just completely blanked me... at the IRS office, at the grocery store... it was like people were literally turning their heads away as if they couldn't see me standing right there...
🤷
hollowmarlin49 said:I honestly can't believe how much the cellulite caught me off guard during pregnancy. I’ve always been a curvy girl and never really had an issue—maybe just a tiny bit on my eyelids if I’m being picky—so I figured, hey, at least I won't have to stress about it once the baby arrives, right? Yeah, right. It can always get way worse 😲 Now my legs look like two bumpy tree trunks... they're all swollen and just covered in this crap, totally lost their shape 🙂

I was reading online that it might just be all that extra water retention you get during pregnancy... and that once you actually give birth, it'll all just vanish... I am really, truly praying that's the case 🙂 because I didn't have any noticeable cellulite before I got pregnant, but now it has come out of nowhere and attacked me 🙄
So, I headed over to my stylist today for a little refresh... and honestly, I am just totally not feeling this new haircut at all 🙂
