It’s the same for me—I wasn't exactly losing my mind at my mother-in-law this morning, but yesterday? I felt like I could have ripped her head off. So, yeah... sometimes your fingers move a lot faster than your actual thoughts.
Jason Lee2 said:My godmother really got on my nerves last night... It’s not my fault her marriage is hitting the rocks. And it's certainly not my fault her husband was all over me. She spent the whole evening in a foul mood because of it, then had the audacity to tell me I’m going to gain 20 pounds by the end of this pregnancy. Honestly, screw her and her 20 pounds. Even while pregnant, I weigh less than she does, and I look better after a month of barely leaving the couch than she does after hitting the gym every single day! :2up:
I'm pissed—but I just want to see how she handles it when she's stuck on bed rest for three months with nothing to do but go from the bed to the bathroom. Then we'll see if she gains 2 pounds or 10. :2up:

I really need to follow up on my posts from yesterday, because man, those servers were driving me crazy... I had a little chat with them and it felt like we finally clicked, which led to one guy asking me at ten last night if he could just wrap things up early so he could head out to a party with his wife.🙄
Guess what, I told him he absolutely could.🤦
But then this morning, the mailman totally paid the price because I took all my frustrations out on him... though, to be fair, he kind of earned it. This absolute idiot rolls up on his moped, too lazy to even get off the thing to open the gate, so he just slams into it with all his weight until it pops open, and then—of course—he doesn't even bother to close it behind him.😠
That’s when my dogs see their chance and bolt toward a crowded beach. I scramble to round them up, shut the gate, and tell him, "Hey, close the door behind you!!!!"
And what does he do? He slams it again and leaves it WIDE OPEN!!!! 😠
So naturally, I chased after him, running alongside his moped, screaming that he is the biggest moron on this entire island and that next time I'm letting the dogs loose on him so they can tear him apart!
If I ever see him again, I swear! What an idiot!

what really got under my skin was seeing my husband kissing his ex-girlfriend's stomach because she’s pregnant just like I am, and he was acting all sentimental and sweet toward her.
He was just beaming with smiles, and honestly, I felt physically sick. Eventually, I just lost it and started screaming at the top of my lungs—calling him trash, saying he was disgusting—it just completely rattled me.
I actually woke up feeling that angry.😂😂
So, I just went ahead and told him exactly how I felt while I was still fuming.😁
Sarah Adams3 said:My gut just went crazy! 😍
I’ve honestly never really felt any movement from my intestines or whatever, but I felt this little tap immediately, and then it just kept thumping.
And today... it feels like there's some tiny little witch inside losing her mind or something, she just keeps hitting and hitting.
Jason Lee2 said:It's definitely my gut. And it’s driving me crazy. I've been lying around with terrible digestion, trying everything to fix it. I had a handful of dried apricots this morning, and now my stomach feels like it's boiling over.
Rebecca Vaughn7 said:It’s driving me absolutely insane that I can't feel the baby yet.
I know, I know—it's still early. It's my first pregnancy, the placenta is anterior, and I've got a pretty thick abdominal wall... but I just want to feel those little kicks. 😢
Anthony Watson35 said:Explaining things is great—I'm always all for it. But how much of that actually sticks with the people you're talking to? That's the real question.
You see it all over this forum—people arguing about whether a 7-month-old needs ham; that crazy grandma who made scrambled eggs for a grandson with an egg allergy just "to get him used to it"; or the crowd of idiots who act like allergies are some kind of myth or fake illness... you name it.
There’s a huge difference between something that actually puts a baby's life at risk—like crossing the street without looking or that madness with the egg allergy—and just thinking we shouldn't give them snacks when Grandma and Grandpa decide to sneak some in anyway.
That second part isn't dangerous (assuming there's no allergy, right?), it's just incredibly annoying.
Not every future grandparent is going to be some saint—perfectly reasonable and easy to talk to—so explaining everything won't always be that simple. 🙄
Sean Long4 said:It honestly drives me up the wall when I’m working at the clinic. You get these guys coming in to pick up their lab results, and then the nurse will clearly announce, "Pregnant patients, please head to window three; everyone else, please use window two." Immediately, you’ll have two or three people who suddenly think they’re experts on queue management, stepping right in front of everyone else to cut the line at window three. It's such an unnecessary headache.
It’s the same type of people you see on the subway—those ones who refuse to move an inch even when they see someone struggling with a heavy bag or trying to squeeze through a crowded car. They see you're stuck, they see you can't get past, and yet they won't budge for anything in this world.
Jason Lee2 said:I honestly can't decide what's more irritating: listening to a man lecture me—someone who will never deal with morning sickness, stretch marks, swollen ankles, or getting kicked in the kidneys by a baby, let alone actually giving birth—or hearing it from another woman. You’d think women would at least have a shred of empathy.
It's funny how people don't know what they're talking about until they've lived it. I've heard the most condescending comments about debilitating period cramps from other women who probably didn't even realize how lucky they were to avoid them in the first place.
Jason Lee2 said:I still haven't gotten over what she said last time. My hips are absolutely wrecked from an 80cm pelvis, and after standing on my feet all day at work, I'm practically in tears from the pain. Instead of helping, she starts lecturing me about how "it's all in my head," bragging about how she was out gardening during her pregnancy and eating nothing but charcoal before giving birth. I just tuned her out. I can barely even sit down in my sixth week because my hips and pelvis hurt so much. A little empathy would go a long way; we aren't all built out of solid steel.
Jason Lee2 said:It doesn't even have to be a grandmother. I hear people talking about their mothers-in-law having two healthy sons, too.
Maybe I should just stay quiet.
