Look, I’ll just be straight with you—I have zero clue what Fahrenheit even is, and honestly, I’m not even embarrassed about it. Why on earth would I need to know that?🤷What kind of use is it actually going to have in my life?🤷I know what Kelvins are, sure, but this other stuff? Total mystery, and frankly, I couldn't care less. My middle school science textbook didn't even mention those degrees once.😁I guess Adam Collins4 went to some fancy prep school or something...☕

Henry Morris3 said:Even if they do decide to keep the Fahrenheit reading, I don't see why that would be an issue... as long as they actually label it as Fahrenheit.

The real headache starts if they swap the scale but forget the unit, especially if they just leave a random number like -394 hanging there without context...☕

Richard Cook said:Give me a break. In the US, we use Fahrenheit, whereas we use Celsius here. When you're translating an American text that lists temperatures, you have to convert them. Otherwise, you're just being illiterate—kind of like those people over at CNN.

I can't tell you how many times I've read news reports claiming the US federal budget is, say, several trillion dollars. For all I know, that amount probably exceeds the total value of all the real estate, precious metals, and gemstones on the entire planet combined. 😂

Honestly, it feels like every single troll on this forum tries to act like some massive intellectual. I skimmed the text and noticed it doesn't even specify degrees—not Celsius, not Fahrenheit, nothing at all.

🤣
The temperature they measured was -397 Fahrenheit.
☕

EXCEPT THE ARTICLE DOESN'T EVEN MENTION FAHRENHEIT☕

Look, maybe she’s just a woman trying to climb the ladder by playing the game, but seriously... she needs to learn the difference between basketball and soccer. Lana, soccer is what you play out on the grass with your feet, and basketball is what happens on a hardwood court using your hands☕

I mean, it’s that trashy tabloid site again, run by a boss who’s honestly so clueless he probably couldn't pass a middle school science quiz if his life depended on it... it actually hurts to read. They’re claiming they measured the temperature on the Moon at -397 degrees🤣😂 🤣That would only be 124 degrees above absolute zero, which is -459🤣 🙄Looks like this outlet just single-handedly dismantled the entire foundation of modern physics😂 😂 😂

During the anniversary of Luna 2, an American academic specializing in astronautics, Anton Vitek, mentioned that the Soviet plan was actually to blow up the moon.
So, the journalist in Southern California was just reporting what he heard; he didn't just make it up.
Now, the real question is whether what that expert said is actually true or not.🤷

I'm really sitting here wondering who actually said the Soviets wanted to blow up the moon—was it the academic or just some reporter at the NYT?🤣☕🤣 If you ask me, the reality was probably somewhere in the middle: the Czech guy said they were thinking about launching a nuke at the moon, and the reporter just sensationalized it to say they wanted to destroy the whole thing...🙄😲

"Rozić needs to just grab the ball and take it straight to the locker room"

Cvitković, man... those three seconds at the end of the game against Germany were something else...🙄😁

@ Mark, you're from San Francisco, which is basically just deep in S. California territory if you think about it... just a few blocks away...
@ swiftwalker43, I swear the Kuljiš brand American journalism was actually calling for people to go out and hunt Mexicans down... or maybe I'm just seeing things...☕

Let’s be real about journalists... most of them are just failed students who couldn't get into their actual dream program, so they settled for journalism after bombing the entrance exams. Or worse, they barely finished high school, kind of like that idiot Kuljiš. I’ve noticed that when American journalists try to tackle science topics, they write absolute nonsense, but this piece I stumbled upon a few days ago? It takes the cake...🤣🙄Basically, the author claims the Soviets intended to blow the moon into tiny little pieces. To clarify, the supposed plan was to launch an atomic bomb via rocket toward the moon, but they allegedly got cold feet about a potential atmospheric accident and backed off. In the madness of the Cold War, sure, the idea isn't totally impossible, but is it really possible for a journalist to be so incredibly dense that they actually believed a single nuclear explosion could destroy the moon?🤷😲
The IMF is selling out to China🙄 Please... they aren't "selling" anything. The author clearly has no clue how bonds actually work. They aren't stocks, you know...☕
