Alright, fine... you win this round, you absolute clown!!!!

Just click the icon.

Look, I’m not trying to start some massive fight or nag you about anything specific.
I just really want you to take a breather, maybe head out to Sonora if you have to, and just recharge those batteries... since you clearly need it so bad.
Personally, I find my own ways to reset in places that wouldn't mean squat to anyone else.
But hey, while you're off doing your thing, don't forget the people around you, okay? Don't get so lost in your own little mystical bubble that you totally check out from reality.

Anyway, Bob!

Listen, we could always just meet up in person to discuss your ass ;-)

It's not that you're bothering me—God forbid—it's just that I don't want to waste my time spinning my wheels over stuff that doesn't matter.

Sure, Arizona might be amazing, but I've got woods right here that hit just as hard. That's my "church"—I go there to pray when I feel like it, no fancy rituals required.

Honestly, if we actually met face-to-face, we'd probably talk differently. Forums are garbage; you can be talking about the exact same thing as someone and still not understand a word they're saying.

And I'm not forgetting anyone—I just pity them. I watch them, knowing full well there's nothing I can do to help.

😉
nimblewolf11 said:That is such a flawed perspective, and it honestly just comes from not understanding the fundamentals of effective meditation!!! It’s actually the exact opposite—true meditation quiets things down and settles that restless, messy ego! Anyone who has ever meditated and practiced observing themselves from a distance knows just how much a good session can unburden a needy ego—you know, the kind that usually needs constant little distractions and treats just to feel "whole" to itself.
And group meditations (those established circles)? Even if you aren't physically together, they actually amplify that effect!!!
Of course "meditation" feels boring if you're just sitting there waiting for something to happen, calculating, or overthinking everything in your mind. But that’s not actually meditation!

Drinking, smoking, drugs—even coffee, sedatives, or other useless stimulants and depressants—aren't necessary to feel "better"!

Silence:
So I watched a CNN documentary, big deal. I’ve seen Batman too. 😂
And that’s your big response to the actual, genuine testimonies I shared?

You really are an unshakable believer, aren't you?
Once Brandon Sanderson (through his writing) hooked your emotions, you just can't let go, even when facts come along that totally expose him.

What really trips me out about this whole mess is how you insist on believing these propaganda pieces posted on bottom-tier tabloid sites that exist just to trash Christian spirituality.

Why does it confuse me?

Because I seriously cannot wrap my head around how you can be so incredibly exclusive when it comes to Christianity (regardless of all the cheap trash being thrown at it) while simultaneously (!?), stubbornly ignoring the undeniable facts that clearly wreck Brandon Sanderson's credibility.

You're pretty zealous in that sense;
Silence:
Look, I put in the effort and found the link (on some yellow journalism tabloid site). It wasn't hard...
Wait, are you telling me that doesn't bother you (what was published on that site)???????????
Just look at what they were doing and you're still defending them like a headless chicken.
You react just as aggressively to the undeniably authentic testimonies shown in the CNN film;
Silence:
So I watched a CNN documentary, big deal. I’ve seen Batman too. 😂

Come on, maybe study a little more so you don't just blabber nonsense,..😂 😉
Isn't that a bit of a double standard?
Don't you feel like you're being inconsistent, even if just a little?

That's basically what I've been pointing out this whole time, but you just keep throwing fuel on the fire... if you catch my drift.

image

Silence:
I've experienced plenty of what Brandon Sanderson writes in practice. I almost kicked the bucket a couple of times, so believe me if you want, it isn't fiction... but I don't feel like arguing this with you, it's just a waste of time.😉
If I had known what level your spirit was at, I never would have dared to challenge you.

Silence:
Look, just stay a sheep in your own little flock; it's not like you're the first or the last.
Time will tell who the real sheep is here...

Wishing you nothing but the best and lots of happiness in your life.😉
Amen!😂

The thing that’s really eating at me is this nagging feeling that I somehow hurt you.
Like, I poked right where it hurts the most.
I know you’d never admit it—not even if your life depended on it (and yeah, I can see that endless parade of emojis you send my way)—but I just can't shake the feeling.

It’s like I’m an older sister looking out for her little brother (who’s, let’s be real, a bit dim, but has a good heart)... even though you're probably way older than me.

And I'm not being cynical when I say that.

That’s honestly just how I see it.

I'll admit it—you totally outsmarted my pudding brain. Mad respect. Honestly, if you were standing right here next to me, I might've just kissed you on the left butt cheek!!!!

🙏🙏🙏

😂

Look, your post is actually the perfect excuse for me to finally get to the heart of what I’ve been trying to say.

Hold up, I gotta sort one thing out before I even start typing.
Hey mods, look, just a heads-up—please go easy on me regarding the parts of my posts where I'm quoting headlines or dropping info from other sites. I’m not gonna name names or anything, I'll just be dropping links instead. Just asking for a little breathing room there.
Look, I’m not out here trying to run ads for the competition or whatever. Seriously. I’m just laying out the actual facts here because if you don't get those, you aren't even going to understand the point I'm making. It's pretty simple when you look at it that way.
Without them, my whole setup is incomplete, and honestly, it just leaves me totally handicapped when I’m trying to actually explain the core of what I’ve figured out.
Thanks in advance for being cool about this and understanding where I'm coming from.

Look, my stance on this whole propaganda circus surrounding Christian spirituality is already out there in the open. I’ve said my piece. What I’m pointing at is pretty damn obvious if you actually bother to look.
It really gets under my skin, man, the way he constantly goes after her with those sneaky, backhanded jabs; it's just constant.
Pure propaganda, pure populism, just straight-up hypocrisy... and they don't even give a damn about what’s actually going on right here at home in the States.

First things first, we gotta talk about where all this info is actually coming from and the whole shady way they push it on us.

Where did it all even start? Honestly, looking back at how everything kicked off... it’s a mess. Just one big, chaotic chain reaction that nobody really saw coming. It feels like we're just dealing with the fallout now, staring at the wreckage and wondering where the hell we took that first wrong turn. Everything just spiraled.
From that one site.
So, what's his deal with orientation?
Check out what we've got here;
Look, for those of you who are too lazy to actually read anything, I'll just give you the whole deal by summarizing everything right in the first sentence of the article. There, happy?
In the name of Metallica, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, and Grandpa, let's pray...

The picture I grabbed from that site pretty much says it all. You know what I mean... they say a single image is worth a thousand words, and honestly? This one hits harder than most.

If you want to know if a source is actually legit or just some random clown, you don't even need to look at their bio. Just look at what kind of garbage they’re serving up. The topics they pick tell you everything you need to know about how much of a joke they are.
Look, I’m just saying—take a look at the headlines under the "serious" news section on this site. Honestly, don't even get me started on the rest of the garbage they post. It's a joke.
So, I was looking through this massive archive—we're talking over 360 pages of seriously heavy-duty stuff—and honestly? I only skimmed through the nine most recent ones. Out of about 60 articles total, I managed to pick out half of the ones that actually mattered. Just a tiny fraction, really.
So, here’s the deal on what I stumbled upon (basically just a breakdown of the kind of content and profiles we're talking about here);

Confessions of a troll.
So, how do you actually get big boobs? Apparently, some people think getting slapped helps. Seriously? What kind of logic is that? Just sounds like a recipe for a bruise, not a glow-up.
If the US wins the World Cup, some porn star is gonna be giving out freebies to everyone.
World Cup glorious deaths on Halloween.
Total garbage opinion.
So, I was sitting there, right? Just staring at my coffee, thinking about how much everything sucks lately, and then it hit me. What if the world actually ends? Like, for real. Not just some political nonsense or some billionaire losing his mind on Twitter, but a full-blown zombie apocalypse. Yeah, you heard me. It sounds crazy, but honestly, given the state of things, why not? I’m not talking about that Hollywood crap where everyone runs around screaming and dies in five minutes. That’s stupid. If you want to survive, you need a plan. A real one. First off—supplies. You can't just rely on Amazon Prime. When the grid goes down, those delivery drivers aren't coming to your door with a box of protein bars. You need the basics. Canned goods, yeah, but don't just grab whatever is on sale at Walmart. Get the stuff that actually lasts. And water. People always forget the water. You can live a week without food, but you won't last three days without water. I remember back when my old man tried to go camping in the Rockies and we ran out of water halfway up the trail... man, that was a rough two days. Don't be like us. Second, gear. Forget looking cool. Nobody cares if you look like a tactical badass from a video game. You need stuff that works. A solid knife, a decent flashlight, and maybe a crowbar. A crowbar is underrated, seriously. It opens doors *and* it hits things. Simple math. And please, for the love of God, find a good place to hide. Somewhere quiet. Not some big city like New York or LA. Those places will become giant meat grinders the second the first bite happens. Think more like a small town in the Midwest or somewhere tucked away in the mountains. Somewhere you can see people coming from a mile away. It's all about being prepared, man. Most people are just drifting through life, totally clueless, waiting for something to happen. But if the zombies show up? Well, most of them are gonna be toast. Not me, though. I'll be chilling in my bunker, probably listening to Metallica, waiting for the chaos to blow over. Stay safe out there.
Strava and absolute nightmares; the most terrifying urban legends out there.
Stabbing; dancing and sex on the dry side (dancing that’s basically known for wrecking your junk)
So, let's talk about weed. Like, everything you actually need to know without all that medical jargon or the weirdly intense lectures from people who act like they're lecturing you from a pulpit. Honestly, it’s a whole thing. I remember back in my college days—well, before things got too crazy—my buddy used to say that everyone thinks they know what they're getting into until they've actually tried a specific strain. It's kind of like trying to pick a band at a dive bar; you think you want heavy stuff, then suddenly you're just vibing to some lo-fi beat and staring at the ceiling for three hours. Total trip. There’s so much noise out there. You’ve got the "wellness" crowd treating it like some holy elixir, and then you’ve got the old-schoolers who still look at you like you're committing a felony just for wanting to chill on a Friday night. It’s a mess. But if you're looking to understand the basics—how it hits, how it affects you, and why everyone's constantly arguing about it—you gotta look past the hype. It's not just one thing. It's a spectrum. Whether you're looking to spark up and forget your boss exists or you're trying to deal with some actual stress, there's a rabbit hole for every mood. Just... don't go thinking it's a magic fix for everything, because it's definitely not. Trust me, I've been there.
Man, I was scrolling through YouTube the other day—way too late, obviously—and I ended up falling down one of those rabbit holes that makes you question if humanity is actually cooked. Just a straight-up collection of the most bizarre videos ever uploaded. It’s wild out there. One minute you're watching a cooking tutorial, and the next, you're staring at some fever dream that feels like it was filmed in a basement in middle America by someone who hasn't slept since the nineties. Honestly, it gets weird fast. Like, really weird. You start thinking you've seen it all, then some guy decides to film himself doing something absolutely unhinged, and suddenly you're questioning everything. It's a total trip.
Big Brother knows exactly what you look like.
Honestly, some people have zero taste when it comes to Halloween. Like, seriously? I saw someone walking down the street yesterday in one of those cheap, plastic superhero outfits that looks like it was made out of trash bags. It’s embarrassing. I mean, don't even get me started on those "sexy" versions of everything. You know the ones. Just a tiny bit of fabric and a prayer. It’s lazy. If you're gonna go as a character, actually put some effort in! I remember back in high school, my buddy tried to go as a giant taco, but he forgot the structural integrity part, so he just spent the whole party looking like a crumpled bag of Doritos. It was tragic. Truly. And the puns... oh man, the pun costumes. "Holy Guacamole"? Really? That’s where we are now? If I see one more person wearing a sign that says "Error 404: Costume Not Found," I might actually lose it. It’s just uninspired. It’s like they didn't even try to think for five seconds before hitting the store. Just give me something with actual substance, or better yet, just wear a regular outfit and call it a night. At least then you won't look like a total clown.
The Brazilian Batman is out there patrolling the streets.
So I’m out back, just minding my own business, you know? Doing my business in my own yard—just peeing, nothing crazy—and then I look up and realize I’ve somehow ended up on Google Street View. Like, seriously? Can't even have a private moment without some satellite camera catching me mid-stream. It's absolutely ridiculous.
So, I was thinking about this earlier while scrolling through some random threads, and honestly? Sharing porn is totally legal. Like, it's just part of the landscape now. People act like it’s some huge taboo, but in the US, it's pretty much wide open unless you're getting into the illegal stuff, obviously. It's just how things are.
Jane's got some hot blondes between her legs.
Just sang a freaking anthem dedicated to those girls' chests on the beach.
From having the longest tongue to rocking the biggest afro, man... things just get wild.
Some leaked photos of Scarlett Johansson.
A thousand boobs for buddy Putin.
College life, man... I'm basically majoring in video games, terrible movies, and absolute losers.
Man, I was scrolling through some old history forums last night—you know how it goes, getting sucked down a rabbit hole at 2 AM—and I started thinking about the absolute worst popes in history. Like, seriously, some of these guys were straight-up villains. It’s wild when you look back at the sheer chaos they caused while sitting in the highest seat in the Church. Honestly, looking at the mess people made this summer, it feels like we're just repeating the same old patterns of terrible leadership. Just total disasters from start to finish.
You can basically spend this whole summer licking Lady Gaga's boots.
Total goal in the trunk.
Chattroullete; there aren't any more naked pees left.
So, they finally picked the hottest girl in the Netherlands.
Rent a friend – I’m honestly losing my mind over that Justin guy.
Pornography for the blind. Seriously? What even is that? Just... what?
Forty thousand hookers against forty-two million condoms... I mean, do the math, people. It just doesn't add up. Seriously.
Vampires working for the White House... seriously? This guy, who’s basically positioning himself as the next Obamin, is out here promising people will be staked through the heart. What a joke.

Here’s what everyone’s losing their minds over right now (the TOP stuff):
Those bratty politician daughters who basically dragged their parents' names through the mud... man, what a mess.
So, how do you actually use a vibrator with him in bed? Honestly, it’s all about the vibe—literally. You can't just barge in there like a drill sergeant; you gotta play it cool. I remember this one time back in Chicago when my girlfriend brought out this crazy high-tech thing, and we were both just staring at it like it was an alien artifact. It was awkward for a second, but then we just leaned into it. The trick is to make it feel like part of the flow, not some weird interruption. Don't make it a solo mission where he's just watching you work. Use it on yourself while you're together, or even better, let him direct it. It's about building that tension. If you go too hard too fast, it’s like trying to drive a Ferrari through a school zone—total disaster. Just ease into it. Keep it playful, keep it messy, and don't overthink the mechanics of it all. Just go with it.
Porn as decor? Seriously? Like, just hanging it on the wall like some fine art masterpiece? I don't know, man. It’s such a weird vibe. People act like it’s some edgy statement, but honestly, it just feels a bit desperate. Reminds me of that one guy I knew back in Chicago who tried to make his entire apartment look like a neon-soaked fever dream—everything was just... too much. You think you're being bold, but really you're just making everyone who walks through your door feel incredibly awkward. It’s like trying to make a mess look intentional. Just a thought.

Who even writes this sensationalist garbage? Honestly, you can tell exactly how brainless the content is just by looking at the way the site recruits its staff. It’s pathetic.
So, this is basically how they get them all riled up;
Listen, you little scribbler, pay attention... (frozengull2).net is looking for collaborators. They're basically hunting for people who actually give a damn about what they write—you know, folks who can actually pass that passion on to the readers instead of just churning out mindless garbage.
Look, if you're just here to talk trash about whatever, then yeah, welcome to the party. Grab a seat.
The crazier and more insane, the better...
And honestly? It’s like expertise doesn't even matter anymore. Like, at all. You can be the smartest person in the room, have all the credentials from Harvard or wherever, and people will still just look right past you. It’s a joke.

Just a quick glance at what was written and you can already tell how questionable and shallow the whole thing is (pretty sure the source is just Wikipedia).
Regarding Innocent VIII, for example, it says (and I'm quoting here): "The moment he died, the Middle Ages ended and the era suddenly brightened." Like God Himself was throwing a party for his death or something!?
Where the hell does that conclusion even come from?

It’s nothing more than cheap populism and the kind of loud, screaming sensationalism that’s just bottom-of-the-barrel stuff. It's in the same trash bin as vampires running for the White House and preaching about being staked through the heart, and Catholicism!?

The obvious goal here is to paint a twisted picture of everything that is "default" despised by these people.
They only mention the negative examples selectively—if I remember history right, there were over 260 popes. What about them? And how do they fit into the equation with these few examples mentioned?
Same goes for when you criticize an entire era through one specific figure without mentioning that, say, Saint Francis appeared at the exact same time with his vow of poverty and became the total antithesis, carving out a whole new path. It’s clearly not giving an objective view.

It isn't hard to see that this is just low-level agitprop, using gutter tactics to try and shape or steer public opinion.
By leaning into loud sensationalism and bizarre claims while being super cynical, they’re trying to target the most vulnerable—you know, the young and the gullible who are still figuring out their own stances.
Just imagine what kind of thinking level we're looking at for people who consume nothing but this kind of garbage.
Unbridled consumerism...
The kind that encourages non-discriminatory impulsiveness aimed solely at self-gratification and entertainment without any limits whatsoever.
That’s basically how a dog acts once you wash it and let it off the leash.
To me, this looks like just one tool in the attempt to drag society down to that level—this globalized, consumerist, gender-numbed hive mind where the only rule is: "Consume as much as possible. You're free to do whatever you want... anything goes."

Who actually buys into these projections?

You do (clearly, based on what you posted), and so does whoever cooked up and distributed this text. They don't even stop to ask where it comes from or who is planting it and why.

That's exactly what I'm pointing out here.

Btw;
Isn't it reasonable to conclude that in the same way you swallowed this questionable content (totally impulsively and naively), you're also taking everything Castaneda feeds you at face value?
In my book, cheap populism, screaming sensationalism, and that mystical emotionalism (which I call "Castaneda-ism") mostly attract "pudding" minds.
Why "pudding"?
Because they're easy to mold with some cheap writing.
Think about the spiritual potential of someone who is so prone to these kinds of influences.
How much do they actually "see" or understand!?

What frustrates me most is when these types (who are basically modeled like pudding) start talking trash about things they don't even comprehend.

How else am I supposed to interpret this twisted, malicious critique of Christian spirituality? It's presented as a bunch of half-truths and snippets used to wave around, while blatantly burying heads in the sand and ignoring facts that I have pretty thoroughly pruned away regarding what he's actually bragging about.
Everything I’ve attacked regarding Castaneda (unlike those shady anti-Christian texts from certain sites) has clear, verified, and authentic sources.
Personal testimonies from people who were part of Castaneda's innermost circle.
Please, go watch the film produced by the BBC!
Those testimonies aren't just hearsay; they were filmed and well-documented by the people closest to Castaneda themselves.

So, isn't it fair to say that being obsessed with dreaming according to Castaneda's recipe—given the fact that he based his writing on a 19-year-old girl whom he crushed, exploited, and falsely portrayed as a "Blue Scout" whom he personally "brought" to Earth from the astral plane!?—is rightfully considered a form of self-induced obsession?

How do you even begin to describe how some people interpret their "life experiences" on this forum? It’s all through this weird lens of "blue scouts" and imaginary creatures...!?
Like... "Oh, I actually met a 'scout' just like the ones Castaneda writes about!"
Doesn't that kind of nonsense deserve a serious deep dive from a psychoanalyst?
Honestly, anyone prone to this stuff should probably take a second to look in the mirror and question the "alternate reality" they've basically hypnotized themselves into living in.

And look, your attempt to brush this all off by saying the text was just "linked" isn't cutting it.
It wasn't just some casual link; the title made it incredibly loud and obvious—it was practically slapped right in our faces.
The thread title I started as a response is basically just a paraphrased version of that exact same thing!

Anyway, to wrap this up;
It doesn't matter if Castaneda wasn't convicted of anything.
What does that even have to do with anything?
The point is, his manipulative nature and obsession drove several women straight toward their deaths.
The fact that those women ended up killing themselves because they were left crushed by unfulfilled promises of "learning" after he died... that changes absolutely nothing. Inside Silence.

Later!

Look, I've watched CNN documentaries, so what? I've watched Batman, too. 😂

I've experienced what Brandon Sanderson writes about firsthand—I've come close to kicking the bucket a few times, and believe me, if you want to know, it isn't fiction... but I really don't feel like arguing this with you. It's just a waste of time. 😉

Look, go ahead and be a sheep in your own little world. So what? You won't be the first, and you certainly won't be the last.

Anyway, I wish you nothing but the best in life. 😉

Amen!😂
frozengull2 said:nimblewolf11;
to start with,
it's the church that has this centuries-old habit of trampling over—though they totally fail to grasp it—the original spiritual values! but hey, the winds are shifting lately toward creating new ways of thinking where new natural values can actually grow, which is basically what the human spirit craves anyway. it's a far cry from those artificial, processed constructs of twisted and made-up values that were cooked up just to serve their own interests throughout history, all at the expense of the regular folks who were basically told they deserved their poverty and suffering.

First off, it wasn't the Catholic Church reacting to the sign-up, it was me.
So, you aren't picking a fight with the church; you're picking a fight with my honest, blunt-force opinion regarding all that New Jersey-style barking at Christian values.
You'd be better off tackling me and my actual life experience instead of throwing out those cliché, anti-Christian stereotypes.
It’s crystal clear where you stand.
Just total, blown-out, New Jersey-style anti-Christian nonsense.
You can try to hide it, but you can't flip yourself upside down to mask it.
Unlike you, I look at Christianity through a completely different lens (just spontaneously, intuitively, and from experience)... based on what I personally "see" and feel spiritually.
Am I wrong about something?

..your posts on this thread just drip with destructive rage.. from some wounded, negative ego!

Is my attempt to call out someone else's hypocrisy "destructive rage"?
A wounded, negative ego?
I'm dying to know how a "positive ego" calls out hypocrisy?
By nodding along like some apologetic little lapdog?
The post that triggered this whole sub-thread was nothing more than basic, low-level, political-style propaganda.
What kind of ego are we talking about here?
Some "inspiredly positive" constructive type?

Did you even read my opening post?
Is it clear what I was pointing out (or are you just playing dumb)?

shouldn't the fundamental value of Christianity be love, spreading love....? where are these "Christian values" actually visible in action?? how can something universal (God, Christ, Love..) be institutionalized, claimed as property belonging to someone? in what segment of historical existence did Christianity actually live out those values???

What are you even talking about?
Who's stopping you from living by Christian principles?
The church?
Give me a break... you and your confusion/cluelessness.
So, calling out the propaganda preaching from SW/her hypocrisy and two-facedness in that sense—that's somehow attacking the very core of love?
Your phrases sound as pathetic as something ripped from a cheap Hallmark card; "segment of historical existence of spreading love"!!?
Just because you say something with passion doesn't mean you're right.
It just means you're passionate... basically self-combustible.

When did Christianity actually live out Christian values?
Christianity produced thousands of saints (people who lived, lived, died, and are still dying today for what they hold in their hearts).

Do you even know anything about them?

Why did Christianity turn into this mess of intolerance, hypocrisy, labeling everyone, and just straight-up mocking anyone who thinks differently...? Why do people claiming to be Christian get so triggered when they get hit with actual constructive criticism? Where did it all go wrong, and was there ever even a version of this that actually practiced being tolerant toward the original message?

That’s not what Christianity stands for, you’re just putting words in its mouth.

Just trash-talking for the sake of it isn't "constructive feedback"—it's just being a jerk.
The only one being hypocritical and obsessed with labels here is SW.
I’ve already made my point crystal clear, no ambiguity about it.
It’s so obvious you could see it from an airplane (like those high-altitude capsules Felix Baumgartner jumped out of recently).
Why are you acting so surprised?
The fact that I can practically hear the emotionalism in your voice proves that this topic is spot on and my arguments are solid.

I get the feeling you're just throwing around rehearsed phrases... looks like you've got the same goal in mind.

Btw; why does constructive criticism offend you so much?
I’m talking about the dilemma laid out in the first post—on one hand, you have people bashing Christians, and on the other, you have people sweeping the filthiness of the guy driving this whole fixation under the rug.

The answer to this and plenty of other similar questions is pretty simple and can be summed up in just a few words! Christianity, along with most other religions (new, old, small, big, whatever...), is constantly clashing with itself and the rest of the world in all sorts of sneaky ways. It’s because, throughout its entire existence, it hasn’t been able to rise above its animalistic nature—that hyper-focused, selfish consciousness and the petty ego. By definition, that kind of mindset is immature; it's the ego of puffed-up leaders controlling a bunch of unconscious individuals, molding their lives however they please.

So now you’ve just invented your own personal religion, some unique path to mystical enlightenment!?
Your own little personal legend that serves as its own goal and purpose... sounds like music to your ears.
You basically just pick and choose whatever bits suit you best while practicing your little routine...
Depending on how you’re feeling or what your "vibe" is at the moment... tucked away safely in your little bubble.

I bet you don't really care about what's happening in your actual surroundings or how this affects your loved ones... I assume.
As long as things are fine for you / as long as your comfort zone (so-called "karma") isn't disturbed, right?
When someone points out the fact that this might not actually be good... that people aren't actually growing spiritually but are just stagnating and catering to themselves—they get pissed off and pull the "righteous indignation" card, screaming about Christian values.

That’s exactly how SW acted too... without bothering to look at her own mess.
Her obsession with the legend is so codependent that she completely ignores the fact that the guy whose writings hypnotized her was just your average con artist. He basically recycled a bunch of different teachings, packaged them into a few books, and through sheer manipulation, drove several naive, truth-seeking women toward suicide.

Totally stuck in her obsession, she’s now trying to lecture others with this fake, self-righteous attitude;
“Aha... look how some Christians reacted in the past!!”
“I read this on some liberal, shallow-political, anti-Christian website...”
(even though nobody actually called her out on it)

So, what is she actually trying to tell us?

That my father's spiritual value is questionable, for example?
Or that hers is beyond doubt?

Can you see how low this approach is? This pathetic attempt to undermine people?

For instance, here is something from the usual arsenal of those "holy" church dignitaries (words they love to repeat): God loves you more than the birds in the sky and other non-human creatures, and since He takes care of them and ensures they have food without worry, you shouldn't worry about what you'll eat either...
What does God even care about? Like, who does He love more or less? Who’s His favorite and who’s on His bad side? And if everything isn't His, then whose birds are they? What kind of God sits there categorizing creatures by "value"—unless it's just some human brain trying way too hard to judge everything!

Okay... so you're a vegetarian.
Are you pushing that whole Hinduism thing?
I mean, aren't plants living things too? They deserve to stay off our dinner plates, right?
Do you really think you're somehow better than them?
What makes you any more special than a damn cucumber?
The fact that you've got a keyboard and can type on a forum?
(Honestly, the answer to that is the same as what you were rambling about earlier... maybe just try answering it yourself.)

Anyone with eyes can see there's zero benefit here—it's actually just harmful. People are being misled by twisted interpretations, their minds are being played with, and everyone's just having this emotional relationship with God. Prayer starts looking less like actual growth or tapping into inner potential and more like just begging God for some random, selfish favors.....

My family—my dad, my mom, and my grandma—are living proof that isn't true.
I haven't met a more spiritual man than my father.
And when I say that, I mean he actually lives out what's in his heart by example.
When I look at how he lives compared to all those New Age posers, those fake gurus and charlatans running around these parts, I see how hollow, pathetic, and staged they all are.
They barely understand spirituality... the "inspiration" they try to force on people is so shallow.
They babble on about building a "personal legend," but my old man—even though he wouldn't give a damn about stuff like that—is a living legend.
At least in my book.
He’s put more soul into the things right in front of me than all those "spiritual remedies" people try to sell from the outside.

Your problem is that you don't have anyone back home who's actually alive, real, or close to their heart to look up to.
That's why you're so narrow-minded and clearly frustrated/brainwashed by that New Age crap.
I get where you're coming from, though.
You just don't know any better.

It's a shame.
(Plus, it means any random hack can manipulate you with a few New Age heart-tugging lines or some marketing-driven, mystical bullshit)

When you don't have your own internal compass, you end up grasping at anyone else's desperation like a drunk person grabbing a railing.
Every little emotional outburst gets mistaken for some "mystical experience."
But someone else's experience is always just that, nimblewolf11. It's not yours.
No matter how much you try to deny it, you'll always be an outsider—just a broken telephone, hearing a story third-hand.

I actually put in some effort and tracked down the exact link SW was copy-pasting.
It wasn't exactly rocket science—just Google "worst Popes."
http://idesh.net/report/najgori-pape/

Then she goes off on some tangent about "what kind of people Christianity is based on" or something along those lines.

Wait, are you seriously telling me that doesn't bother you???????????
Look at what they were doing, and yet you're still defending it like a headless chicken.

What you're saying about Charles is basically 0.00000001% of what those people actually did—the ones who were at the top of whatever they represented and the ones people actually trusted.

As far as I recall, Charles wasn't even convicted of anything related to what you're talking about, nor did he preside over any courts. Go ahead, enlighten me if I'm wrong.????

...Besides, if you had actually read his interviews, you'd know the man spoke out publicly against drugs and New Age movements... those hallucinogenic preparations that Don Juan gave him (in the first book) were given to him to help him break through a massive mental block because he was going through a hell of a time personally... he was stubborn and foolish as hell... and the only person who could have given him that was someone who actually knew what they were doing, which was Don Juan.

Do a little more homework before you start talking nonsense...😂😉
nimblewolf11 said:To start things off,
the church itself has a centuries-old habit of hijacking the very spiritual values they claim to represent—values they often fail to actually understand! However, the winds are shifting today, favoring the creation of new ways of thinking where fresh, natural values can emerge—which, let's be honest, is just the natural longing of the human spirit. This stands in stark contrast to those artificial, processed constructs of distorted and made-up values that have been shaped solely to serve specific interests throughout history, usually at the expense of the common person who was told they somehow deserved their poverty and suffering.

...on this thread, your posts just radiate destructive rage... it sounds like the wounded negativity of an ego!

Shouldn't the fundamental value of Christianity be love—the spreading of love...? Where are these "Christian values" actually being put into practice?? How can something universal (God, Christ, Love...) be institutionalized and claimed as the private property of a specific group? In what era of history did Christianity actually live out those values???

Why has Christianity opted for intolerance, hypocrisy, labeling, and mocking those who disagree...? Why do representatives of Christianity get so offended when they receive constructive criticism? Where did the tolerance go—if it ever even existed regarding the original message?

The answer to this and many similar questions is simple and can be summed up in just a few words! Christianity, along with most other religions (new, old, small, large, whatever...), is in constant conflict with one another and the rest of the world through all sorts of sneaky tactics. It's for an obvious reason: throughout their entire existence, they haven't been able to rise above their animalistic (lower) nature—that exaggerated, selfish consciousness and the temperament of a tiny ego. By definition, that is an immature consciousness: the ego of puffed-up leaders driving a massive number of unconscious individuals, modeling their lives however they please.

For instance, here is something from the well-known arsenal of the "holy" high officials (to use their favorite repetitive phrasing): "God loves you more than the birds of the air and other non-human creatures, and since He takes care of them by providing food without worry, you shouldn't worry about what you will eat either..."
Who, exactly, is God supposed to love more or less? Who does He prefer? And whose creatures are these birds if they aren't God's? Which God is categorizing creatures by value, if not a human, judgmental mind!

Anyone—even someone blind—can see there's no real benefit to this (it's mostly just harmful). Masses of people are being misled by twisted interpretations, their minds are being manipulated, and they're practicing an emotional relationship with God... prayer becomes more like begging God for some senseless personal gain rather than seeking progress or awakening one's inner values (potential)......

It’s because they just want to be in charge. If you're on their side, great—if you aren't, then you're basically nothing.

Here's an example of what happened to me recently.
There’s this girl who constantly attends these group prayer meetings held in community halls rather than actual churches—basically part of some Christian sect that calls itself a "community." She offered me help. I've been dealing with some health issues lately, so she brought over a blessed pendant from one of her meetings and told me it would help. I turned it down. Her response? A sharp, "Fine, then stay sick, you egoist."

Basically, if you're a sheep in their fold, you're fine; if not, then rot.😁

For the record, I healed myself using natural remedies and I'm doing just fine—I'm not with them, and I'm certainly not sick.

If Jesus actually existed, he was a truly phenomenal guy, and there's a lot of good to be found in his legend. But these leaders creating these cult-like atmospheres? They’re doing the exact opposite of what Jesus stood for, all while selling it under his name.

So we just back away (because that’s the whole issue I’m talking about... and honestly, you could practically cut the tension in the room with a knife).
You're right there.

This topic is way too heavy for this subforum.

There aren't many people around here who are actually gonna point stuff like this out.

unknown
Explain it to me, what makes the New Age so "dark"?
The fakes sitting at the core of "New Age" teachings.
Carlos Castaneda is the perfect example, considering how much he's influenced the mainstream.

Anyway, what defines the New Age is this general sense of confusion and a "fast food" vibe that the whole movement promotes.
It isn't even about real spirituality; it’s just massive-scale self-serving ego trips.
People just grazing on bits and pieces from everywhere because they don't want to actually open their mouths and bite into anything real.
It mostly just feeds that consumerist-individualist-neoliberal appetite (basically a hungry mind focused entirely on its own comfort zone), rather than being anything authentic or capable of actually changing someone from the inside.

unknown
Moving on, how much of Carlos Castaneda have you read, and what specifically bugs you about him?

I've read it all.

What bothers me is;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FrB5...feature=relmfu

The thing that jumps out is his manipulative nature and his ego, which is just off the charts.
It shows up heavily in how he treats women, which borders on pedophilia (if not goes right past it); Amy, Patty (when they were super young)...
By the way, five women from his inner circle ended up killing themselves.

And the worst part? Thousands of his followers are basing their entire lives on him.

Basically just isolating themselves from the world.

Totally, everyone has the right to criticize any concept, and I wouldn't believe otherwise—even Christianity—from any standpoint. Being "authentic" would mean having some actual knowledge of the subject matter and using arguments, though when picking a spiritual path, it's hard to say who holds primacy, since it's all about what resonates with one person and not another. It's not like there's some scientific methodology that will reject one thing as flawed and declare another as true.
I'm saying it again;
The right to an opinion or to criticize anything isn't up for debate.
And I'm exercising that right by starting this thread.

I don't get why you keep stressing that?

I just notice that the people who do that often seem to have a bit of a "stink" on them regarding the very things they're criticizing.

I'm the least to blame here... no matter how ridiculous it might seem.

Maybe this will bug you even more?

Look, SW didn't do anything malicious—she just copy-pasted an interesting piece she found online.

As for those videos you’re complaining about—we've been over this a million times already. It shouldn't surprise anyone that people make stuff like that. Why would they want people to be free? It's much easier to keep everyone acting like mindless sheep in a pen so they can be manipulated however they see fit.

Why not just be yourself? Just be who you are.

Is that really the right way to live? Isn't it more valuable to open someone's eyes than to keep it all to yourself, even if it means being laughed at? In the end, if you have inner peace, their mockery shouldn't matter much. I try to talk about these things in modern society, even if people don't understand me or don't want to listen. I don't care if they laugh. Honestly, I feel better when they try to look down on me...

Hypocrisy? Call it whatever you want.😉

Look, what do I gain by going to someone and explaining all of this, only for them to be completely unable to wrap their head around it? Then, out of pure misunderstanding, they go tell a friend what I said, who tells a third person, and suddenly there’s a game of telephone happening where half the city is gossiping about me based on some twisted version of their own perception. That process just sucks up a huge chunk of my energy—energy that stays trapped in those endless, pointless conversations for years. What do I get out of that? Nothing, just a damn waste of time. So instead, I just give them the performance they expect so nobody drags me into their drama, and I slip by unnoticed. That’s the whole point—being here, being invisible.

As far as I'm concerned, let them laugh; it doesn't bother me one bit. But I have people in my life I truly care about, and I don't know how that mockery would affect them. I don't think they could handle it, so I don't allow that ridicule to happen. For their sake, I'd rather choose to stay under the radar and far away from the petty gossip.

Basically, with someone who actually understands what's being discussed, you don't need to perform; that "madness" is only used around "😁normal
people.

Joseph Cook7 said:Life force and sexual energy don't vibrate at the same frequency, so you can't really swap them out. The only energy we actually have conscious control over is sexual energy, and according to the old Tolteci, you really ought to preserve it when practicing lucid dreaming techniques—it plays a massive role there. Generally speaking, wasting sexual energy just for the sake of pleasure isn't great because it's a vital resource. But then again, having kids is also a way of losing that individual wholeness of consciousness. So, it's just another one of those Toltec riddles where you kind of lose either way...!!

Honestly, we could just call it a "spending frequency." Frequencies are really just different ways of directing the exact same energy.

If we’re basically energetic light eggs, we only have one single pool of energy inside us.

So, what's happening is the same energy is being spent, it's just being channeled through the frequency of sex this time around—that's just its way of discharging.

From what I gather, it's actually hardest to control if you actually *have* energy. Usually, the people burning through it are the ones who actually have plenty to spare.

The people who generally lack energy don't even deal with "performance issues"—😁 they don't even have much to suppress in terms of sexual frequency because they barely have enough juice for anything else.

I personally dealt with this—and it was a huge mess—but I managed to get it under control using tensegrity exercises. I tried everything, but tensegrity was the only thing that actually worked to properly harness it, spreading it out through the shell without letting it leak out.

After doing that, even in the short term—maybe 7 or 8 days—my dream awareness noticeably improved.

In my opinion, this isn't even much of a mystery for people who know how to master that spending frequency within their whole being; the real mystery is for the people who don't have any energy to begin with.

Joseph Cook7 said:Most people don't even realize they're working with a finite energy budget—they just leak it everywhere like a broken faucet. Since our internal energy centers can't just magically tap into a new supply, we end up feeling that drain as physical aging and general bodily decay over time. One way to refill those storage tanks is through specific movement patterns—which is basically what this PDF covers—but there are other tricks too, like "solar yoga," where you basically soak up energy through your eyes. Just a heads-up though: you'll always lose more energy than you can redistribute, so you really need a lifestyle designed to conserve what little you have. Wise people have always pointed out these draining daily habits we all fall into; if you want to fix this, you have to cut those out. If you actually manage to throttle your energy waste and master redistribution, you'll see massive shifts in perception and a total transformation toward wholeness. At the end of the day, it’s all about energy and how you move it around...!!🙂

Even if everything is just different expressions of the same energy, I still think it’s kind of stupid to label one thing as "sexual" and another as "life force"—but hey, maybe I need to wrap my head around it better. Maybe.

What’s the deal with sexual energy—is that also something you "spend" or leak away?
Let’s be real—we all know exactly how this works. Everything is built around it now. Between the constant barrage of ads and the way the internet is wired, everything is being pushed toward one thing: sex. It’s everywhere.

Where exactly does that energy go, or who is it actually going to? What's your take?

So, does anyone actually need to bother with celibacy, or is biology just going to take over and handle everything once the time comes?

It’s similar to what Zachary Cook2 mentioned regarding spiritual 'black magic' being a way to 'conquer' others, whereas spiritual 'white magic' is about mastering oneself—it's how you defeat those who lash out at others simply because they lack the capacity to control their own negativity and ego.

What does power actually mean to a spiritual person?🤷

Power isn't some petty, "keeping up with the Joneses" thing—like seeing your neighbor pull into the driveway in a brand-new Tesla and thinking, "Well, I can't afford that, so I hope he hits a pothole." That's just pathetic.😂

Black magic is basically just trying to force your will onto someone else, which is a total disaster because you're using energy for all the wrong reasons.

True power is about tapping into your own inner strength—becoming a whole, conscious version of yourself. That's the real deal. You focus that energy inward on your own growth, and you never use it to mess with anyone else.

Donna Moore32 said:Look, if you just type "suicide" and "Castaneda" into Google, you’ll stumble upon a million different articles floating around the web... yet you won't find a single one that actually addresses the blatant falsehoods contained within those pieces. 😉

Articles aren't evidence. When you search Google, you get speculation, not proof—we're all just guessing here. Try searching "suicide in the church" on Google and you'll see how much info is out there on religious sites, and none of it deals with false statements, contrary to what you're claiming.

Personally, I’ve helped two people move past those kinds of thoughts when they didn't know the first thing about Castaneda's books. Before they met me, they were at church constantly and were suicidal. Today, they’re living life to the fullest and are actually grateful to me for it—they tell me all the time they can't believe how blind they used to be.

Don't get me wrong—I have massive respect for Jesus, and I find that Castaneda aligns with a lot of quotes in the Bible. The only difference is that Juan's teachings are built on practice, whereas the Bible is built on faith.

I've seen plenty of practical stuff for myself in what Juan talks about, so I'm not just talking nonsense or preaching straight from a book.

Now, if someone from their group committed suicide—I don't know—if it's true, I think they made a incredibly stupid move out of pure ignorance. We need to survive our lives and learn everything we can, period. So, frankly, I don't care, and I'm certainly not a fan of that kind of suicidal crap. I don't see why anyone would think that's okay or spiritual. It's just pathetic.🙄.

Check this out:
There are seven suicides mentioned in the Bible, mainly in Matthew 27:3-5 regarding Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_views_on_suicide

And I totally agree with this:
According to Catholic Church theology, suicide is considered a grave or serious sin. The main Christian Catholic argument is that a single life is a property of God and a gift to the world, and destroying that life is an attempt to claim authority over what belongs to God, which is also a tragic loss of hope.

If it wasn't controlled, it would just be straight-up insanity. But to cross that line from controlled to pure madness, you actually have to be sober, which is exactly what's required here—so it can never truly be just "madness."

People get hauled "to safety" because they can't regulate themselves. They don't have that controlled madness—just plain old chaos—so they need other people to step in and handle the control for them.

Gregory Jackson said:So, if you're looking to shake off those various attachments—which, let's be honest, are really just unconscious little survival mechanisms we've picked up along the way—we pretty much end up right back at the idea of self-work. It’s all about combining awareness and willpower, I guess. Like, once you actually recognize something as an attachment, that's when the willpower kicks in to snap the tie. Awareness alone might not quite cut it, though; you kind of need both working together in tandem. Awareness is what spots the pattern, and willpower is what actually breaks it. And I truly believe this whole process leaves its mark on our energy field.

Now, you can't really "freeze" energy channels—well, maybe that's just me being picky with my words, but I suppose you could say the channels get blocked so nothing can flow through them. See, within the aura, there are basically two kinds of bioenergy at play. You've got the gray energy and the white energy, where the white part is essentially our soul or consciousness. It's intelligent, in its own way 🙂, making up about 10% of the total energy in the aura, and it travels through these specific pathways called meridians. Then there's the gray energy, which pulls in from the space around us through the chakras; it makes up the bulk of the aura and doesn't really have any intelligence—it's just neutral. For a person to stay healthy and for their spiritual side to really flourish, I think the ratio of gray to white energy at any given point in the aura should ideally sit around 9:1.

Here’s where it gets interesting: when a negative thought or feeling ripples through your aura like an energy wave at frequencies lower than 20.6 Hz, a reaction happens between that gray bioenergy and the wave of that specific negative thought. It’s almost like a chemical reaction, and it creates this third type of energy. This stuff is naturally neutral, but it’s thick, kind of like jelly. In the spots where this reaction takes place, it practically creates a blockage in the meridians, preventing the white energy from flowing. This causes things to pile up and messes with that 9:1 balance. Where energy builds up, you get an excess, and where it can't reach, you get a deficit, and that’s basically how physical illness starts to manifest.
There’s also this specific zone in the aura tied to spirituality, and if that area gets hit with blockages, a person might find themselves totally uninterested in spiritual matters or they might just lose their way entirely. Even things like an atheist upbringing or certain beliefs instilled since childhood can cause these blocks, because we tend to think and act according to whatever we were taught. On the flip side, if you do the work—through different paths, energy cleansing, meditation, or prayer—you start clearing out that specific zone in the aura. Once that happens, you'll probably notice you feel way more drawn to spiritual growth and have a lot more drive to keep going.

What I'm trying to say is that this "freezing" of the channels is mostly driven by our own negative thoughts and emotions. So, we circle back to all those spiritual disciplines meant to boost awareness, keep us in the present moment, foster non-attachment (as you put it!), and encourage tolerance and mental/emotional hygiene. It's all about minimizing those triggers. Sure, there are other things that can mess with the aura, like physical injuries, bad radiation from the ground or artificial sources, or general pollution, but those seem to be much smaller factors in the grand scheme of things.

Alright, fine, whether you call it frozen or blocked, it’s basically the same thing.
Either way, you thaw out something frozen and unblock something stuck.😉

Within the aura, there are two types of bioenergy: gray and white. White energy represents our soul and consciousness—it's actually intelligent (as 🙂 would say)—making up about 10% of the total aura energy, moving through specific channels called meridians. Gray energy is pulled in from the surrounding space through chakras; it makes up the bulk of the aura's energy, but it lacks intelligence and is essentially neutral. For a person to be healthy and for their spirituality to flourish, the ratio of gray to white energy at any given point in the aura should be 9:1.

I don't know about all that, honestly, but that part sounds more like the whole left vs. right brain theory. Scientists talk about the hemispheres—the right side handles everything we can't see, while the left is the spiritual side, handling communication with the spirit and the unseen.
Take Jill Bolte Taylor, for example. She got a research opportunity most neuroscientists would kill for: she experienced a massive stroke and then watched her own brain functions—movement, speech, self-awareness—shut down one by one. She actually learned how to communicate using just her left side without any issues.
It’s a pretty mind-blowing story for some, though I wasn't exactly stunned myself. Still, I'm glad science is slowly catching up to this idea of the "left" side—the spiritual side—seeing us as pure beings without all the stuff forced upon us. http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/scr/ji...f_insight.html

Where energy accumulates, you get an excess; where it can't reach, you get a deficit. That’s how illness starts.

Bdw, I can see you might have an answer for me. I don't really get bioenergy, but it's strangely attractive to me for some reason. Do hot and cold spots on the body link back to having too much or too little energy in a certain area?

Conversely, by working on yourself through various paths and doing energetic cleansing in power spots—via meditation and prayer—you clear that zone of the aura. Consequently, we become more interested in spirituality and find more motivation to do the work.

In our American forests, mountains, and fields, you generally find plenty of power spots in places where people don't hang out. Whenever I hit a spot like that, I feel completely intoxicated and calm. So, if someone can't make it to those specific places you were talking about, they should just head into the nearest big woods and look for a clearing somewhere in the middle, away from the brush and stuff. You'll definitely find a spot like that. It stands out clearly from the rest of the forest; for anyone who can perceive energy, noticing the difference won't be hard. For everyone else, they can just try to find it by instinct or gut feeling—they'll find a spot that suits them just fine.

Look, what I'm trying to say is that when a channel "freezes up," it's mostly because of our own negative thoughts and emotions. It always circles back to those spiritual disciplines—things like boosting awareness, staying in the present, practicing non-attachment (like you mentioned), being tolerant, and basically just mental and emotional housekeeping. You need that kind of spiritual hygiene to minimize the interference. Sure, there are other factors affecting the energy field—physical injuries, bad radiation from the ground or some tech sources, pollution, whatever—but honestly, those are minor compared to the internal stuff.

I knew you’d get it; I never had a doubt.👍

bdw, I see how deep and complex your posts get, so why are you hunting for literal, step-by-step explanations? If that's what you want, you should probably just start writing literal posts instead.😉
