Thank God, there is only one true This news is absolutely wonderful I’ve been following this thread since the very beginning, and I was honestly so moved by all the comments, until... Then those usual skeptics swooped in with their typical negativity, which dampened my excitement just a little bit But still... this news is so beautiful and encouraging that nothing can take that away from me 🙏

I identify as Catholic, but I have my doubts about the whole concept of heaven—for instance, if people lived before the Bible or Jesus were known to them, does that mean they’re just automatically destined for hell? 🙄 But honestly, that’s probably a conversation for another day.
What truly weighs on me isn't death itself, but the thought that wherever I go next, I might be separated from the people who made this life worth living. When I think about my wife, my parents, my brother, and my closest friends, the idea of being apart from them is what actually causes me anxiety, rather than the end of life. To me, if we can call it a soul, it feels more like energy—something indestructible. I like to think we simply transition into a different reality, perhaps returning to Earth in another form, or moving on to somewhere else entirely. It’s not the unknown that scares me; it’s the goodbye to those I love most. 😢
🙂 You claim to be Catholic, yet you don't believe in Heaven... In theory, you either are Catholic or you aren't; it should be that simple, right? Christ promised us Heaven, remember? As far as I know, reincarnation isn't part of Catholicism... Your loved ones will ultimately be with you It all comes down to how much you believe.

See, there you go again—it feels like we aren't quite on the same page. Or maybe I’m just not hearing you correctly. 🙂 To be honest, life hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows for me lately either. 🤷 But I find myself wondering... who cares? It’s not that I’m rushing toward the end, but I’m certainly not shaking in my boots when I think about it. On the other hand, there's a sense that something even more beautiful lies ahead, so whenever the time comes... Lord, I'll be ready. Man, I have plenty of people in my life who lift my spirits, too. But at the end of the day, death is just part of the deal, isn't it?

To me, saying "I look forward to death" carries a very specific weight, and I realize how dark that might sound to others. But since I view life through a different lens, I don't see anything morbid about it at all.
Who could possibly fear death? Because death isn't even a real thing It’s just stepping into the unknown... though somehow, it feels familiar As they say, what the eye hasn't seen and the ear hasn't heard..... Besides, we were always meant for the heavens, from the very beginning.
Why am I not afraid of death?🤷 Death isn't actually the end; it’s just the moment all the struggles of this earthly life finally fade away... Yivanmukta 👍 It might sound a little cliché to some, but I truly mean it when I say this Whenever it arrives, I welcome it with open arms. I don't fear what comes next, because what follows is true LIFE... A life lived fully in Christ.
Video games are such a massive time sink when there are so many better ways to spend our lives. Kids especially have zero sense of boundaries these days; they get hooked and just won't stop. I’m all for playing in moderation—it isn't inherently bad—but people are losing control of the situation. And honestly, how much is this eroding our spiritual side? 🤷 It's pretty clear that when you're glued to a screen, there's simply no room left for anything spiritual.
Death doesn't scare me, because I know it isn't the end... I just find myself wondering: will I live forever, or will I be dying for eternity? My goal is to live in such a way that I earn my place in the heavenly kingdom In fact, I’m willing to give up everything just to reach that kingdom. 😍
I’m not afraid of my own passing. It’s an inevitable part of life, isn't it? Maybe it happens tomorrow, maybe in thirty years—who can really say? What actually terrifies me is losing the people I love. It’s the fear of a brief goodbye, and I say "brief" because I know it won't be forever. Perhaps those of us who cling to this fear are being a bit selfish. 🤷 But looking at it through a purely human lens, we miss them simply because they aren't here, even though we know we'll eventually join them. As a person of faith, I look at this through the lens of eternal life. This ache for them is just a deeply human pain, and there’s nothing irrational about it. Of course, some might mockingly suggest that believers shouldn't feel grief at all. But at the end of the day, we are only human. I remember being a little girl and crying whenever Mom left for work. I knew she’d be back, but those few hours without her felt absolutely unbearable.

Like, how much does it actually matter to you—how much weight do you put on the kind of footprint you're leaving behind in this physical, material present we're all navigating right now?
I don't, honestly. 🤷 What kind of footprint? Life just keeps moving for those staying behind. For me, I’m just passing through a door called death, and once it closes behind me, I'm onto the next thing.

Ehh, if only I were But wait—wouldn't you want to be an Andrew? At least you get to choose which side you're on. Are you siding with the Andrews or the villains? Good or evil? Love or hate? Ultimately, you become exactly who you choose to be.🤷
darkfalcon21 said:When I was talking about evil angels, I meant demons—basically fallen angels. Supposedly they serve Satan, but hey, believe what you want...
I don't really care about how they look or if they even have wings... It’s more about that bright, beautiful force that loves and protects you. It truly is a comfort, provided you have enough faith. 🙂
Kids are actually capable of seeing other entities (like spirits) from different dimensions. We aren't talking about imaginary friends here. They are real. Sadly, parents often end up destroying that gift. They force their children to accept a version of the "real" world where nothing supernatural exists. Modern society is moving so heavily toward pure logic and reason, especially within the school system. And look what we've become. 😢
Exactly. Kids, animals—I've even experienced it myself.😉
Susan Price30 said:Exactly. They act as our 🙂shield against everything ugly we need to be kept away from... though angels won't stay by someone's side if they don't want them near (except maybe in extreme life-or-death situations, if even then). They save people (from dangerous or potentially fatal situations) not by their own will, but according to God's.
People say young children can see angels. Do you believe that? I know a few firsthand accounts, and honestly, those kids are too young to be making things up. I truly believe it..😉
I have true faith in ANGELS, My sweet guardian angel, protect me with your strength according to God's promise watch over me, day and night... ..... Angels are primarily responsible for keeping the soul pure, and the body comes second. Even when a young person passes away, it doesn't mean their Angel wasn't there; rather, they were rescued and guided into paradise for eternal life before their soul could be stained by sin.

Angelina Jolie might take decisive action when it comes to the soul—whether to lose it or save it... but to us mere mortals (well, not to me), that often looks like a tragedy. If you look at things through human eyes instead of Angelina Jolie's perspective... For some people, "saving one's soul" doesn't mean a thing. 🤷 In the frantic race for longevity and material wealth, we often forget to protect our souls. That’s how believers tend to see it, anyway. 🙂 Life is finite regardless; there isn't much we can do about that part... But saving our souls? We absolutely can do that... we all know exactly how. 🤷
My guardian angel, please protect me with all your strength in accordance with Godly promises watch over me, through the night and the day especially shield me so that sin never touches my soul
Angels watch over us, while demons take hold Whether they're outside or deep within... we are surrounded by In certain cases, some dwell right inside us—the wicked ones 😲
