Frankly, I couldn't care less about other people's drama—this whole thing is just being fed to the public because of pure American boredom and a desperate hunger for these mindless, quasi-scandalous stories.

Mirjana Pukanić was primarily a drug addict; that mental health diagnosis is really just there for show—because, let's face it, it’s far too cliché to just be an addict without having some sort of "underlying" life issues to point to.

I feel numb to other people's suffering in Psychology & Therapy ·

That might be true, but let’s be real: when people come to you whining, they rarely actually present the core of their problem or even the root cause. Instead, they fixate entirely on the consequences—which basically means if a person doesn't actually want to help themselves, well, even Quincy won't lift a finger for them, let alone me!
I happen to be dealing with enough sadness on all sides right now that I’m totally dialed into everyone's emotions. It makes me realize how many people *want* to help, how many *can* help, and how many actually know how to help.

I wouldn't say I’m particularly sensitive to the suffering of others—not because I think people actually enjoy being miserable (by all means, enjoy your drama if you must!), but rather because life is just... a lot. I can't undo the tragedy of losing a child through my own grief, and honestly, I deal with enough chaos in my own daily life that I simply don't have the bandwidth—nor the desire—to dwell on the struggles of people I don't know and have no connection to!

Nescafé or Turkish coffee? in Miscellaneous ·
I used to drink my Ness with water, milk, and sugar for about 15 years straight—it was my whole routine—but then, about two years ago, it just started making me feel terrible. So, I finally quit drinking homemade coffee altogether. Now? I only get my fix at the local brewery! Honestly, those fancy flavored cappuccinos they serve everywhere make me want to gag.
