Hey ladies, hope you're all having a wonderful day. Make the most of it! It might be a little while before I can get back online to write something like this again...
Richard Howard55 said:As usual, Vlado’s work is top-tier. 🙂
But he's vanished—like a butterfly—probably blushing from all those compliments! Not that he doesn't deserve them... just, you know, let's not overdo it or he might actually fly away.
Look, you're right to be annoyed—honestly, what really got under my skin was the mention of FAMILY. Seriously? You guys almost brushed it off like it was some joke, but this person is actually taking it a step further by trying to offer unsolicited family advice. This is exactly why things always go south here. Family is strictly off-limits on this forum, and unknown knows that. They shouldn't even be showing up, lest someone tracks their IP address and realizes they’re actually... well, her.
The whole situation surfaced back in 2010 and just lingered—showing up sporadically—but this is clearly a massive, coordinated smear campaign. Or maybe it's just a collective lapse in judgment. People keep saying "papa in bocca"—which is basically a fancy way of saying you're just feeding someone's ego and giving them endless ammunition to play the same tired victim card. As for the technical specs, there's plenty to unpack regarding how things should actually be implemented versus whatever the programmer was thinking while they were half-asleep at their desk... though we all know the developer probably gave up on that software ages ago. And let's be real, we've seen enough to know who was flipping what to whom.
Maybe it’s time for a little silence... either hit ignore or just don't bother commenting. Let's focus on smarter questions and more meaningful answers instead. We need to make room for the people who actually have legitimate issues and want to ask about them, rather than those who just run away when things get real. Can we try that?
Raymond Martinez10 said:Actually, I was just about to look something up on Reddit—then I decided to dive right in and write this out myself (hope that makes sense enough) 😲
YES, YES I DO. Since when is it a crime to actually know things? Honestly, being a know-it-all isn't nearly as bad as being completely clueless... and frankly, I couldn't care less what people think about that.
Raymond Martinez10 said:Try this approach: - In the statement view, just click the printer icon in the "print" column - A new window will pop up showing the actual statement - Hit "File" and then select "Print" - From the printer list, pick "CutePDF" or whatever PDF printer you have installed And there you go...
Oh man, ladies... you're honestly going to make me cry. And here I am, someone who’s pretty much used to getting banned... I just can't keep it bottled up, so I have to write it out. Sometimes my temperament gets the better of me—it's just too loud, I guess. Yeah, Liti wipes the slate clean or hands out a warning. She sends me to the "timeout corner," which was a little embarrassing, if I'm being honest...
But don't worry, Liti is the boss to me. I'm not holding a grudge, nor is there any reason to. We moved past all that ages ago: why would I question her when she takes action? I already know exactly why she did it. She’s my anchor—she doesn't give me any special treatment, and she's made it very clear she’s going to crack down on anyone being unruly, and she's doing it with a whole new level of strictness. Well, I was being unruly. And I praised her way too much before—no more of that.
At the end of the day, this is all just a game, so why get worked up? Sometimes you just need to vent and let off steam when someone really pushes your buttons (you know who I mean, right??). The consequence is three days on ice, and of course, I spent that time staying productive and finishing up my work. I even kept in touch with you guys via email.
Thanks for checking in on me, though. Let's keep moving... back into the survival struggle. I think by the end of the month, I'll be making an announcement: our retail sector is dead—killed off by the government and the city through endless taxes and pressure. (I'm leaving out wholesale and services for now). We didn't manage to build enough of a cushion over the first two months. Soon, there will only be one or two similar shops left; maybe people will need some small things in San Antonio. Or maybe even in San Diego? It's not our fault, yet the government just ends up with one more unemployed citizen. *Those* are the real problems, not a few warnings... the Titanic is sinking!!!
To all the ladies out there—and Mr. Vlad the Third (plus anyone else lurking in the shadows)—I hope you’re all having a great start to the work week.
May God and His angels help us deal with the bureaucratic monster and those never-satisfied politicians running this country. Actually, wait—didn't St. Michael, our Michael, slay the dragon? Well, whatever the case, it clearly didn't stick, because the beast just keeps coming back for more.
amberbadger17 said:dubo, seems like everyone’s getting a little worked up lately. I’d go so far as to say I’m actually worried—or at least, I’ll act like it—that they might try to censor your posts on this forum. Or maybe just demote you to a low-level user! 🙂
Honestly, your takes on pretty much everything have actual substance; they're a hell of a lot more interesting to read than the usual junk. Maybe it's because I usually vibe with your worldview, but hey, there will always be "those other people." It's a sad state of affairs when someone else's misery is the only thing making them feel good. You’ll power through these rough patches just like the rest of us travelers. Until then, don't back down. Just keep doing your thing, with that classic Southern grit. 🙂
Oh!! Well, you're one of the real ones! (And hey, thanks for the compliments—if I actually deserve them!?) Helping out instead of just shouting nonsense. Honestly, it wouldn't even be the first time I disappeared from a forum for six months or a year. Some moderators—who act like they have PhDs—have annoyed me so much with their shallow takes on health topics that I just walked away. Acting like some kind of dictator really doesn't make a forum more lively. Sure, with Meta nowadays, there's plenty of entertainment, but we're missing that actual dimension: helping people! And ultimately, helping ourselves, since there are so many of you always ready to jump in.
Lili basically told me to stop being so dramatic, but I genuinely thought she was running out of patience for dealing with these dragons too—plus, it felt like some new moderator had stepped in and basically threatened to kick me out. I’ve dealt with their overstepping before; not everyone is reasonable like Lili. But if she writes that she's cleaning house AGAIN, then... well, I’m definitely not leaving her side. I'm right here. Just like all of you who haven't gone quiet, even if I know you're lurking.
Actually, I have an idea!! Under the avatar, there’s that little warning sign: "danger," which is used to report inappropriate posts. So, let's all help the moderator: let's hit that icon whenever people start getting abusive. Let's see how that goes...
Raymond Martinez10 said:Look, Jessica Grant56, I didn't think you'd drag me into tears this early in the morning—not really your style. You can't just walk away from everyone on the other side of the tracks like that. Sit tight and deal with it!!!
Thanks, old friend. Seriously. But honestly, what bridge? What nonsense am I supposed to settle for? I want a damn tunnel—or if you prefer the local way of putting it: just get it dug. I’m tired of every single transatlantic liner trying to squeeze through toward IBM. And don't even get me started on those massive naval fleets... It’s going to be a real headache for them when they try navigating nuclear subs through here, but whatever—it's our waters, our backyard.
I'll endure it, sure, but I'm not just going to sit here quietly or I'll lose my mind. You remember how things used to be, right? Even before Lily pulled me over for that first speeding ticket... It was a good era. Honestly, felt a little bit happier than this mess we're struggling through now.
Not sure where you're headed with this deep talk so early in the morning, but good luck to you!
Henry Edwards33 said:It’s not for nothing. Anyone who actually knows me calls me a bulldog; once I sink my teeth into something, I don't let go easily.😉
It’s alright, I guess. But just imagine if we were dealing with a ram—it would be the exact same situation, only we'd end up bumping heads! Honestly, those horns would be a real mess to deal with. Still, you're a class act, dear bulldog.
Haha!! She’s acting all offended, like she’s going to grab a broom and sweep away these annoying comments!! That—that’s exactly what needs to happen, but... man, I’m just now realizing how much of yourself you’ve poured into this thread. If you still have any fight left in you despite the constant attacks (which always come from the same person), and if you can find the strength to clean up this mess, it would be really nice to see things go back to the way they used to be!!
Carol Price4 said:Jessica Grant56, you don't even need to make this a whole sub-Reddit—you can just start a regular thread for Oracle Q&A, 🙂
Without coordinating with the moderators or the rest of the community? I'm not entirely sure—I think the Reddit admins should probably weigh in here. We really shouldn't be splintering things up too much. On the other hand, I can't help but wonder if one single person can actually outweigh the majority—which seems to be quite large in this case—and still exert that much influence?
Henry Edwards33 said:Come on, Jessica Grant56, don't be so dramatic 😘
I was just sitting here thinking about how we used to go at it back in the day—we really knew how to pick a fight, didn't we? 🤣
Then I started thinking about the old crew, the ones who just drifted away and stopped posting altogether, and honestly, it hit me pretty hard. Deborah was always such a dear, a genuinely good person, and incredibly sharp. I really hope she’s doing well and enjoying life with her family. And I also have to mention VTi; they helped me out a ton, and I'm incredibly grateful for everything they did.
Oh, and hey, try not to hold a grudge against the other moderators. Just remember, I'm not the only one keeping an eye on this thread. 😉
Honestly, I can't stand threats. I just won't tolerate them. Henry, it actually was fun arguing with you. Not even fighting over which software was better—we usually had pretty solid arguments. If it hadn't been for those debates, we probably wouldn't have become friends, but through all that, something real formed: mutual respect, an honest connection... just understanding how the other person thinks and operates. And something I always appreciated about you: you actually understood my temperament. Mine is definitely a bit more... high-voltage, let's say. I get why others want to weigh in on the thread, but they don't really know the history here—they don't know who everyone is or what’s actually happening behind the scenes. So when some random person comes in and starts judging based on a surface-level view, it stings. That's why I thought if things kept going this way, I might just walk away. It's not being dramatic; it's just that the effort doesn't seem to match the results.
Yeah, the old group was great, but the current group is great too!! If it weren't for one specific person constantly throwing everything out of tune, things would be perfect again. But when someone keeps playing two wrong notes right in your ear—well, anyone would lose interest.
Nobody has addressed the one obvious solution: a dedicated sub-thread on Reddit. I see plenty of reasons against it, and only one reason for it: getting rid of the person causing all this dissonance... But having someone hitting those two sour notes is absolutely wrecking the whole orchestra!
Liti dreamed up this little corner of the internet a long time ago—a sanctuary where people could just exist without constant bickering or attacks. For me, it was always my escape from the trolls. But lately, things have taken a turn for the worse. It feels like some of the admins act like they're absolute dictators; they don't give a damn about the actual vibe or what’s happening here on the forum, they just hand out bans left and right, and eventually, you're wiped from the web entirely. Or so they claim...
Honestly, though? People like that don't scare me. They come and go, but I'll still be around. Wanting to help people doesn't mean I want to pick fights with anyone who disagrees with me—unless, of course, they decide to get aggressive. If I'm the one in the wrong—well, fine, just ban my account... I'll just come back with two or three friends and see if you can actually stop us! (not that those typical internet trolls ever could)
I wanted to take a moment to thank all the ladies and gentlemen here for the support you've given me. Without you, I would have made so many more mistakes and been totally lost. A special thanks to Liti—we actually went head-to-head quite a bit years ago, but that grew into a wonderful friendship once we learned how to treat each other with respect. Like real human beings! And I can't forget everyone else—apis, devilgirl, gric, and even Vlad. You guys have always been there, and I know you always will be.
So, if you don't see me around, it just means they finally pulled the plug on me. But hey... justice is blind, right? Best, Jessica Grant56
Man, you really can't please anyone, can you? You're stuck right in the middle of the crossfire! I mean, where are we even supposed to go once those American forests get privatized? Are they just going to lock us out of the woods entirely?
On a different note, I really wanted to say thanks to Jessica Grant56 because she’s honestly made things so much easier for us when it comes to setting up and managing Synapse. She basically took all the hard lessons and headaches on herself so the rest of us could just watch, learn from her mistakes, and apply the fixes immediately without the stress. Jessica Grant56, if you ever find yourself traveling through the Great Plains or stopping by Des Moines, you absolutely have to let me know so I can grab you a coffee.
I'm headed for the rocks. No sane person is actually going to privatize them—so what's the big deal? Not much has been said about Synapse lately, and honestly, I just found yet another new feature today that I haven't even touched yet. If nothing else, they've packed it full of stuff; there's just so much in there. But like that one lady used to say, it's "unpredictable!" You really have to get to know it before you can work without any hiccups—even though, let's be honest, most of the time we're the ones who mess things up ourselves.
Take the other day, for example: I wanted a PDF, and the program just refused. When I want something, it won't even give me the time of day—it just gives me some rude error message saying "I can't do that because..." It's infuriating. After digging around, I realized the issue: was the wPDF300.dll file actually in my system? Of course it wasn't! I copied it back in and everything worked fine, but it leaves me wondering: who on earth deleted it in the first place? And am I the only one constantly tinkering with this thing? That's usually the biggest headache—trying to figure out who or what messed with my settings!
Jose Turner57 said:Jose Turner57 says: I totally missed a crucial detail earlier... That’s actually why they run that specific audit—to calculate how much federal subsidy you qualify for based on a set percentage. Dub: Good grief, you’re making this harder than the government! If you want to overcomplicate things, be my guest—I didn't even grasp it when it was simple. I’m going to go mix some concrete instead; at least that makes sense.
Oh, and that massive headache you’re dealing with after all that work? $33 A tax break? Honestly, I'd trade that in a heartbeat just to give the Secretary of the Treasury a break. But if he wants to be helpful, he could start by telling Medicare to send my reimbursements after 15 days rather than waiting 65.
Joe, Dub, you guys are killing me... seriously, bravo. I completely agree. I was just scrolling through some old threads and decided to copy-paste.
Honey, I think you might have missed the mark here—this isn't really a laughing matter. Honestly, I just feel like crying! It feels like our whole government is acting like a total scavenger lately. Now, even my local town council is sending over these brand-new advertising regulations, and they’re actually trying to charge me for the restroom sign sitting right inside my own shop. The building is private, the entire lot is private, but here come the highway robbers: "Give us more, please!" Seriously... at this rate, I might just join the outlaws myself.
So, here's the deal—this guy is trading Forex using his own system, and now he’s got people interested in linking their accounts to his so he can trade for them too, for a fee. These are folks from abroad, and they’d be paying via PayPal or PayPal... once he pulls a decent chunk of change into a JPMorgan Chase account—assuming he wants to keep everything totally above board—how does he handle the taxes? We're talking about an individual here...
I mean, you can definitely withdraw the cash, but if it turns into a massive windfall and he suddenly drops money on a new car, there's always that nagging thought—what happens if the Police Department starts asking where all that money came from? hmmm... ajmo razmišljanja...
If you're going to overcomplicate things this much, you might as well ask who's actually left sane. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue.
“It’s clear then that the crime of business malfeasance simply doesn't exist anymore... The company hit a rough patch, and instead of setting aside his last $8,500 in earnings to cover taxes, he used it to cover operating costs—primarily payroll for his employees. Based on that description, the maker was accused of prioritizing his own company and staff over the government. However, since the timing of those collections wasn't clearly established in the timeline of events, the court concluded there was no violation of payment priority.- What is this even supposed to mean?
I always tend to overthink things—probably in all the wrong ways! But if I had to guess, I’d say it means the government gets first dibs so it doesn't starve, (and who knows, we might still need it), while the worker just gets whatever is left after the state takes its cut. It's like they think if the individual isn't subservient to the state, we're all doomed. And honestly, looking at how things are going, it feels like we're already there.
