Where to stay in Washington, D.C.? in Miscellaneous ·
Here’s the thread for it. 😉
Exclusive! Finally—a photo of Uncle Branko that explains everything. 😁

The animal is already dead—I'm just preserving it...
Good grief 🙂
If you think this is interesting...
So what...
And did I say I found it funny? -,-
And seriously, stop bringing up dead people immediately.
Because when someone brings that up to me, I feel like making them a corpse too...
Besides, when I go out with my brother and we end up having to kill animals out in the world, I probably won't be "normal"...
Because like I said, if it were actually alive, I couldn't lift a finger against it.
Maybe against a fox or a badger, but only if they attack—which is super rare...
And yeah, I said at the start that it would be weird...
It was weird, sure, but at least I warned you...
Basically, some people find it gross in photos, some think it's cool, and others think we're terrible people...
But if it's already dead, why not?
Everyone has different hobbies...
And there will always be people who think they're gross...
Anyway, if you're planning to be a pathologist or a vet like me, there's no room for being squeamish...
Plus, if we're comparing it to humans, it's basically like embalming...
But hey, that's just your opinion...
And I'm pretty much used to opinions like that by now...
From all the criticism about being a Furry therian, to people calling me a bitch because I use my own brain and don't want to be a slave to my peers...
I was the shoulder to cry on even when my friends weren't there for me...
When my dad passed away...
And honestly, I'm a pretty normal person who loves nature and just wants to have a little bit of nature in my house in a unique way...

Are you really trying to threaten people with the admins while writing like this? 🙄

Just read through all the nonsense you rambled out—it’s totally headless, tailless, and makes zero sense—it's hard to even understand what you're trying to say.

The only thing I've realized now, which puts your hobby in a new light, is that you want to be a vet or a pathologist. But you should have put that in the intro post, which should have been written properly instead of just throwing a pile of disconnected sentences and associations at us. 🤷

No, I’m actually done laughing at this. What’s in those links is honestly gross. I have zero clue what you think you're "studying" here—I mean, you study living animals, right? Either in the wild, in a lab setting, or dead via dissection and microscopy...
What exactly can you learn from a dead taxidermied animal sitting in someone's house? 😕 Unless you're trying to master human pathology, maybe? ☕

An ornament!? 😲 An ornament (if we're being generous) is a living creature—like a dog or a cat in your home. This sounds like someone claiming they can call their deceased relative an "ornament" and just display them in the living room. But hey, to each their own... 🙄

Elizabeth Davis said:It’s not weird at all—what's so strange about wanting to scoop up a dead cat, stuff it with soft filling, and then—I don't know—play around with it? 😕

😬

Seriously—you wouldn't believe the stuff people post on this Reddit... 🤣 🤣 😵 🙂 😬

Amy Cook29 said:*This might sound sick to you, but if you don't like it, please don't attack or insult me—because any replies insulting my "hobby" will be reported to the site admins... I love animals, I have two dogs and a cat, and I would never hurt them...
I just love nature and want to do this because it makes it easier for me to study various animals...

No laughing allowed! 🙂

Fletcher Christian (Mutiny on The Bounty) - no way he hits it. Søren Kierkegaard - took him five tries.

Good grief... 😲do you have OCD? Or did the person who played this 129 times actually trigger a script you wrote? 😍

The thing is, the system pulled a stupid stunt on me twice—it asked if anyone was from the US or the North America, I said yes, and then immediately followed up by asking if I was from Brunei? If you’re the one running this code, start fixing these bugs. And maybe add a feedback loop at the end to see if it actually worked—otherwise, your little statistics aren't even complete. 😛

As for the first guy—he nailed 4 out of 6, but then he completely tripped over Žižek; took him four tries just to wrap his head around it. It all comes down to the question set, which is pretty random—you win some, you lose some. Honestly, if you don't have anything smarter to do with your life, it’s a total waste of time. 😍

Anyway, my advice is to never lend money to friends. In most cases, it’s the quickest way to kill a friendship.

Who jumped him? Did someone hit him with a high kick or what? 😕

Learned a lesson? I highly doubt that’s in the cards for him. 🙄

Friends? If you barely know someone—not like, ten years deep—and they only reach out when they need a loan, that's not a friend. 😕 Now... that's a new one on me. ☕

Look, honestly... I don't think you should trust your own judgment right now, but feel free to believe that coworker if you want. 😁

Want me to translate that for you? She’s cunning and knows how to play the game—meanwhile, you're just being a naive sucker who got played perfectly. She keeps trying to tell you exactly what's going on, but you're too dense to see through it.

And now you're actually asking for help on her behalf... hoping SHE understands???!!! 😲 😂🤣

Whatever, man. Just hit us up once you get your money back! 🥳 🤣

PS. The whole thing smells fishy to me—honestly, this "foreign country" might just be some small town in Ohio. 😁 (Please, just don't reply telling me that a small town in Ohio isn't abroad! 🙂)

Just kidding.

James Diaz59, do you actually have a doctor monitoring you?
If you're on a proper medication regimen, it shouldn't be an issue—go talk to a professional about it.

I don't have any kind of "proper" meds, and I've never even seen a doctor—I basically self-diagnosed. That's why I'm asking here.

I’ll jump in here—if anyone with actual expertise is willing to weigh in—I have ADHD, and my focus is a total mess.

I really want to just get a standard driver's license, but I'm terrified that this disorder will make me fail the test—or worse, that I'll end up causing a wreck on the road once I'm out there. Does anyone know if there's any kind of therapy available here in the States to help sharpen focus—maybe something like biofeedback or something similar?
