I mean, I have no idea what you're even looking for here... though I'm sure you're just dying for this whole "sexy, completely motionless, and totally on edge" vibe🤣 😂
but honestly? I think the only reason any husband would agree to that under these conditions is out of pure fear... nothing else...😂😂

AHA! And here you all were, acting all surprised and laughing at me just a second ago...😂😂
Justin Baker3 said:My deadline is just three days away, and I can't deal with what's happening. Since last week, people have been calling me constantly, blowing up my phone with texts, or even posting on my Facebook wall. It’s getting to the point where I’m questioning my own sanity.

I honestly don't have the energy or the patience left to answer the phone when it rings. I really don't.

Ugh, I totally feel you right now... 🙄

I only answer calls from my parents at this point... and even they're starting to get on my nerves with the endless "how are you feeling" questions.
I just don't want to see anyone until the baby is actually here because that is literally the only thing anyone wants to talk about!!!!!! When am I doing it? Am I okay? Is anything hurting? Just stop.🙂🙂🙂😠
That’s exactly why I went ahead and posted a photo on Facebook!!
Because before I even got pregnant, everyone was always breathing down my neck with those "oh, just wait until you're pregnant" comments... implying I'd just balloon up or lose control or whatever... so honestly, it felt pretty good to put an image out there and prove them all wrong... I've always been stubborn like that image
It honestly drove me insane how everyone suddenly thought they had to talk to me exclusively about kids, pregnancy, motherhood, gear, and all that other stuff... I was just sitting there like, WTF? Give me a break, people—yeah, we’re having a baby, but I’m still the same person! I still care about the exact same things I did before...

I even started getting those Baby magazines in the mail... as if I’d actually want to read them, when I don't even touch magazines normally—especially not some garbage offering "tips on sex after childbirth" or "how to emotionally bond with your baby"🙄
What an absolute moron... you really gave him a piece of your mind there!! 😂
Honestly, what’s driving me crazy right now is that I can’t just go out and grab a massive bottle of Afrin nasal spray to finally clear this damn congestion!! And don't even get me started on how I can't just overdose on some Advil Cold & Sinus effervescent—which is usually my absolute go-to when I'm feeling under the weather. It's infuriating... 😁

And to top it all off, I actually managed to get sick right now!
Sam Kim12 said:The urine sample was collected correctly—look, when you're pregnant, the baby is literally pressing against your bladder... so yeah, you're going to be hitting the bathroom way more often since the capacity just isn't there anymore due to the pressure. As for an EC 10 on 3, doctors usually don't even bother treating that unless you're actually dealing with other symptoms—like burning, bladder pain, or that stinging sensation when you pee. And honestly, you have to rule out whether you're even going because of an infection or if it's just because your anatomy has shifted during pregnancy 🙂 .... You can always redo the urine culture later, and hopefully your OB/GYN mentioned that you should probably be getting a culture every two weeks until you deliver, just to make sure those levels don't spike up unexpectedly.

Thanks so much! 🙂🙂
I already cleared it with my doctor to go back and redo the culture in a week, just so we can double-check everything.
It honestly drives me crazy that I can't get any actual help here and have to Google every single little thing... and then you just end up falling down these rabbit holes of total nonsense... either things are way too hyped up, or they're absolutely terrifying... or you read some horror story where someone basically drops dead just because they had a little ache on their left or right side.. 🙄I mean, I know I’m probably just making it my own problem... but it’s still so frustrating!

And it really bugs me how jealous I am of my husband... he seems to be doing just fine and nothing about his life has shifted, while I’m over here feeling like a total wreck... one day it’s physical, the next it’s mental... 😁

The only thing that actually gives me any comfort—if you can even call it that—is this constant gurgling, stretching, and twitching in my gut 😍😍
Laufer said:ugh, tell me about it... seriously...🙂
I was literally sobbing last night because I feel like a total disaster—just a complete mess—and he just sits there laughing at me, telling me I'm being dramatic... which honestly makes me feel even worse 🙂

And then there are the days when HE actually has the nerve to ask me, "Hey, have I put on a little weight??" 🙂🙂 🙂

no comment! 🤣
feralmoose32 said:Once the baby arrives, your husband will be the one feeling jealous of you, so it'll be a perfect 1:1 match... 😉

Haha, you’ve got a point there... once I can’t stop hovering over my little girl, he's definitely going to feel the jealousy!! Poor guy won't know what hit him...😁
The whole family dynamic is honestly driving me up the wall! For instance, my cousins haven't even reached out once to ask how I'm doing... they haven't even sent a quick "congrats" on the pregnancy, let alone anything meaningful... just total radio silence. My aunt and uncle are acting the exact same way... it’s unbelievable. 😲 Okay, look, we weren't exactly best friends or super close before this... but I’d catch up with those cousins a few times a year... we were on good terms, we knew the general gist of what was going on in each other's lives. The only thing is, maybe they expected me to personally break the news about being pregnant (which I didn't... they found out through my parents)... so maybe they're acting all huffy because of that? Who knows. Either way, it's pretty ugly!

As for people touching my belly... the only ones I actually let near it are my husband—obviously 😍—or my mom. As for anyone else... yeah, I'm not having it. 🙂
I could really use some input or an opinion here.

I’m 32 weeks pregnant, and I just got my urine culture results back: 10,000 E. coli per 1ml.
My doctor says everything is fine—no prescription, no treatment, nothing.

But honestly, I can't stop worrying because I have a feeling I didn't get a "clean" enough sample. Since I'm constantly running to the bathroom (pregnancy bladder issues, right? 🙂), my first "morning" sample was actually taken only about 2 to 2.5 hours after I last went overnight... even though my bladder felt totally full at the time!

Is it possible that the bacteria count looks lower than it actually is just because the urine was too diluted??
Yeah, it’s honestly pretty ugly how that turned out... 😢
Justin Baker3 said:So, I’m officially 35 now, and I am getting seriously tired of people asking if I'm "counting down."

I honestly feel like a ticking time bomb with those big green digital numbers flashing ominously...

And don't even get me started on the endless stream of "just wait until you have kids" comments. It makes me want to lose my mind...

Ugh, seriously 🙂 🙂that whole "you'll see" line gives me such an allergic reaction!!
Like, what exactly are we supposed to "see"?!?.. I mean... we all wanted to get pregnant... we all wanted to be parents... and yeah, I guess we prepared ourselves for it 🤷
Sure, true, our lives are going to flip upside down in an instant... but this is the life we chose and planned out ourselves!! I can't stand that kind of unsolicited wisdom... once I actually give birth, it'll probably just be, "Oh, just wait until you have TWO kids"🙂🙂
Hey jadejackal... I just picked up this incredible book by some local authors here in the States. It hasn't officially hit the shelves yet, but since the copyright says 2012, it’ll probably be available everywhere pretty soon. It’s written like a manual—super practical stuff you'd actually want sitting on your coffee table. It covers everything from developmental stages and early intervention to various illnesses, plus the whole parent-child dynamic... honestly, it's got it all.
Here’s the info:
Bralić I. et al. (2012). Healthy Growth. A Parent's Guide to Child Health and Illness from Infancy through Puberty. Washington, D.C.: Medical Press
It was honestly hilarious watching everyone try to predict exactly when my bump would show up and how fast I’d start "expanding"... 😂
First, it was always like... oh, just wait until the 12-week mark and you'll see... except, nope. Then it shifted to... okay, well, hang on until the end of the fourth month and then we'll really see it... and again, nothing 😂😂... My stomach didn't even start showing until after 18 or 20 weeks—and even then, most people didn't notice, just the ones who actually know me well enough to tell
.
Then they got incredibly annoying once things finally became visible, with all these comments like, "Oh, there it is!" or "Wow, look at that belly!"... seriously? Like, thanks for stating the obvious while I'm sitting here in my sixth month of pregnancy 🤣 😂
.
I really don't get why people feel the need to make such a big deal out of it... 🤷
Peter Adams58 said:I actually love my little bump 😍 but I have to laugh at myself when I try to peek over it to see what I'm doing. I'm just lucky I don't slip in the tub! 😂 😂 😂
I guess there's always a way to make it work. 🤣

Oh man, I totally get it now... the other day I'm standing in the bathroom trying to "get ready" and oops... I try to suck in my stomach just a little bit to see what I'm working with... but it's just not happening 😂 😂 ...basically... lately it's just been a series of ridiculous mirror acrobatics 🤣

(When I mentioned the belly, I was thinking about how everyone else seems to have an opinion on it, whereas we pregnant women 😉)
Peter Adams58 said:Maybe don't overdo the watering if you haven't got a gut
It feels like we've reached a point where a guy can't even get a shave 🙂 🙂

and honestly, I never used to get how someone could be that incapable... but now I totally do. 😁 😁

but anyway, back to the whole belly thing... if it’s too big, it’s bad; if it’s too small, it’s bad... people just can't ever win, can they? 🙂
I actually held off on coloring my hair until I was about four months along...

After that, I switched exclusively to ammonia-free dyes—I’ve used them twice now—🙄but the downside is they fade way too fast... though, honestly, it doesn't matter that much since I just stick to subtle shifts in shade a few levels up or down from my natural color...

People keep telling me that getting highlights is fine, mostly because they don't make direct contact with the scalp...
