Where are all my Keaners at? I’m a total newbie here—I've been completely obsessed with the band for about a month now.
I mean, I’ve known about them forever, but back when I was in my massive punk phase, I always thought they were way too "soft" for my taste.
But man, *Hopes and fears* and *Under The Iron Sea*? Absolute masterpieces. I’ve spent way too many hours binge-watching their old live sets on YouTube and I am officially hooked. It’s crazy to see them back together after that multi-year hiatus.
As for the new album, *Cause and Effect*, it didn't really click for me right away, but after a few listens, it’s actually grown on me quite a bit—the songwriting is just top-tier.
And don't even get me started on Tomov's vocals; the guy is incredible, and honestly, he’s kind of my huge girl crush. He isn't your typical Hollywood pretty boy, but he’s got this raw charisma that just hits differently.
It’s such a bummer that it looks like they’re only touring around England this summer—I’m dying to catch them live once they finally tour closer to the US and things settle down with the pandemic.

Back in the day, I thought Kalember was quite the catch 😳 so I’d listen to him alongside The Fossils. To make matters worse, the old folks in my house were total hippies, so I grew up on Led Zeppelin, Creedence, Black Sabbath, and the like. Later on, the Ramones totally blew my mind, I absolutely loved Gopca, and then, eventually, Nirvana happened. 🎉🙂🙂🙂🙂😍

I went through similar phases with my belongings when I was younger—especially back in childhood—but somehow I moved past it. Now, I’ve swung to the complete opposite end of the spectrum; my "problem" is actually getting rid of stuff. I just toss everything, whether it’s useful or not, almost like I’m trying to shed some kind of physical weight from my life 😁
I used to be way more organized, too. Everything had to be in its exact place, perfectly aligned down to the millimeter—especially when I was living with my parents. My mom has always been pretty obsessed with cleanliness and order, but ever since I moved out and got married, I’ve totally let go. Things don't weigh on me the way they used to at all 😉
Honestly, I think this kind of relationship with possessions in adulthood might be linked to some sort of OCD...

I’ve actually always been pretty interested in acting myself—I even know a few people working in the industry—but honestly, they're some of the hardest people to actually help...

It’s just... an inexplicably massive amount.. 🙂

Man, I just adore Tom Hanks... Castaway is such an incredible movie, honestly.
