I honestly thought she was trying to entertain him to help him drift off, rather than just waking him right back up. 😬 And yet, there he is, acting like he’s actually playing along with her.
I still remember watching that movie; honestly, I was pretty terrified myself, and looking back, I really don't think kids should be watching stuff like that right before they head to bed.😱

I actually got some advice from my pediatrician's office once—they suggested parents should speak to their child in their native language so they can pick up both "Mommy's language" and "Daddy's language" with proper grammar. It worked wonders for a friend of mine; her kid learned to switch effortlessly, speaking German when she was around and English when talking to his American dad.
I've heard that same advice before, and honestly, it really just comes down to being consistent.
I honestly don't care what anyone calls their burek; people should be free to name things however they damn well please. For me, nothing beats a homemade version—it shouldn't be greasy at all, either. I’ve always been partial to the ones stuffed with veggies, since I've never really had much of a taste for the meat versions.
