Is a burrito filled with meat or cheese???

For me, a burrito has always meant meat—cheese belongs in a savory pie🐔
And now when someone tells me a burrito is made with cheese, I’m just sitting there like... seriously? What even is this? 🙂

Where is the world heading?

I mean, if you ask me, a meat burrito is basically just a savory pastry filled with cheese.
The whole way they make those stuffed pies is totally different from how you'd roll up a standard pastry.

But honestly? I couldn't care less about the technicalities. 🕺

A burrito is essentially just dough wrapped around a filling—that’s how it’s defined in its country of origin. Even here in the States, our dictionaries follow pretty much that same logic, though they don't always agree on the finer details...
