I think there’s been a misunderstanding. I'm talking about mortgages versus standard apartment loans... I was actually asking about those T-Mobile rewards programs...

Could someone clarify if there’s a bill actually being voted on—or one that’s already passed—that would prevent people from losing their very last property to creditors? I totally get how mortgages work and I feel for folks who took out home loans and just can't keep up with the payments... but what about things like AT&T or Chase Bank?

I mean, honestly, I’m struggling here because where am I even supposed to look for that?

I think I managed to grab the drivers through Sweeper... I just can't seem to find them anywhere else... Temperatures look okay, though... so I doubt that's actually the issue...

Nothing seems to be working... I've tried running DDU to wipe out all my Nvidia drivers and then doing a clean reinstall, which went fine, but the games are still crashing on me... It’s honestly exhausting...

I have no idea why this isn't working... I might have gone a bit overboard by wiping out all the old drivers during the cleanup... man...

I actually headed over there, but I went for the 700 series instead...

Thanks for the help, everyone... turns out the issue was my graphics card. A buddy of mine just handed me an Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT the other day, and I realized I just needed to get the drivers installed. But I'm hitting a wall... it keeps throwing an error saying my computer isn't compatible for PC game optimization...

I could really use some help here... my computer keeps crashing out of the only games I actually play. It happens about 30 seconds in, every single time. I'm just running the original StarCraft and Football Manager... any idea why this is happening? Thanks...

The graphics card just slides right into the motherboard... there isn't even a power cable on the board to plug into the card.

I'm just sitting here looking at this graphics card... it's got three different outputs available, so I guess I just need to grab the right cable to hook it up to the monitor
Integrated Motherboard MS 7680 VER-3 in Desktops ·
I’m honestly not sure if the cable should be plugged directly into the motherboard or if it needs to go from the graphics card straight into the monitor...

I didn't just slide the graphics card into the motherboard... (-:...I'm a total amateur here... do I actually need a cable?

Hey, I've run into a bit of a headache... why is it that whenever I plug my graphics card into this specific motherboard, I just get a black screen when I boot up the PC?

from an AT&T bill? 🤣

He's looking at two different seizures for $15,000 each, plus all the interest... we're talking about a proposed seizure dating all the way back to 2006. It hasn't even hit the IRS yet. Now that he's about to close on a house, I'm wondering if telecom companies can actually go after real estate. I read somewhere that they aren't allowed to take property... is that true?

I was wondering if having an outstanding debt of about 70 bucks with AT&T $0.00...might affect my ability to get some
new lines in the city where you live?

John Clark6, is it actually possible for them to go after my home if I owe money to AT&T?

copperrider59 said:It’s actually super straightforward: you just check the due date on the bill, which is usually right there on the invoice itself. Then, you look at the date when the local sheriff or process server actually received the formal request to serve that seizure notice. So, I'm not talking about when they physically showed up at your door, but rather the exact moment they officially received the paperwork—usually sent via mail from some lawyer's office—to start the whole enforcement process.

If more than a year has passed between those two dates, then the statute of limitations has kicked in and you're off the hook.

Thanks for the info... I don't even have the actual bills anymore, just these two collection notices sent over by the folks at Baker McKenzie. And since the legal officials involved are also tied to them, I'm starting to wonder if they missed something... how exactly does that absolute statute of limitations work again??

John Clark6 said:Well, you shouldn't actually need those old statements if you're arguing based on the statute of limitations rather than claiming you already paid, right? I just hope you've double-checked your math on that expiration date (specifically looking for that JB stamp indicating when the decision was officially issued)—you definitely don't want any awkward looks at the hearing or to get hit with extra legal fees from the creditor for an extra appearance. And hey, don't sweat the lack of income too much; they can let that debt sit for years while interest and extra processing costs just keep piling up.

Could someone please explain how I'm supposed to calculate the statute of limitations myself??🤷

I haven't seen any posts from nvknk yet... perhaps they're just observing for now. kaže:
When exactly did you receive the enforcement order? And if you haven't actually seen it yet, how can you be so sure that anything has even been filed with the notary...

From what I understand, interest keeps accruing right up until the day you officially receive the notice... and honestly, that’s exactly how people play the system. They stall for as long as possible just to let those interest charges pile up. It feels like there's this shady little loop between certain local notary offices and the creditors to keep things moving in their favor. I'm not entirely sure, though, if the interest continues to stack up even after the official notice has been served to the debtor...

If you actually received that notice back in 2007, and if Chase Bank truly processed it during that same year, especially regarding a debt dating all the way back to 2005... then you missed your window to file an appeal based on the statute of limitations. At this stage, it's simply too late... 🤷
?

I didn’t miss any deadlines... The law firm that filed the suit against me is Hanzekovic & Associates—they handle both the legal side and the collections too. They actually handed me all those foreclosure documents when I initially went in to try and work out a settlement with them... Now, they’re just telling me that I should pay whatever amount I can manage...
