The reality is that we have laws being passed by people who don't know the first thing about education. It doesn't matter how much finger-pointing happens; what matters is that teachers are pointing out flaws in Department of Education policies because they can see firsthand that these mandates aren't working. At the end of the day, test scores are plummeting, and you can't blame the students or the teachers for that.

what's the issue?☕

I'm not sure who was complaining about educational standards... 🤷

The biggest headache for teachers isn't the system—it's the parents who badmouth educators right in front of their kids. They're already armed to the teeth with every legal loophole in the book, so when parents start attacking teachers, all it does is create unnecessary chaos.

SAT scores, state exams, you name it... pick one. Let's see how it goes.

Nobody has an issue with teachers who actually do their jobs right... those people deserve extra rewards (bonuses, specialized training, etc.). Generally speaking, my kid would be happy if the school system worked, and the staff needs to be happy too.

Are the teachers even happy with their pay, working conditions, or career growth?

Secretary Primorac actually set us back significantly...
Just look at where our performance levels were fifteen years ago. ☕

I honestly can't believe what I'm reading...
It’s just a collective smear campaign against our entire education system...
At this rate, we might as well just scrap public schools entirely and let every parent teach their kid whatever they personally deem useful.
