Lewis Hamilton absolutely tore through Ferrari today. 🙏 It’s a bummer for Kimi Räikkönen, but honestly, the Mercedes strategists just played circles around them.
If things keep going this way, I honestly don't see any chance for Sebastian Vettel. But hey, who knows? Maybe he'll pull a rabbit out of a hat and surprise us all.

Which ones did he win alongside Lewis Hamilton to become an immortal legend? If he hadn't been in that same lineup, everyone would be claiming he only won because he was driving a dominant Mercedes and wouldn't have stood a chance otherwise. You and Mario Andretti would be the first to say it.
But look, Lewis Hamilton doesn't even talk to him anymore. It's wild how it goes—it's not just Sebastian Vettel, but even Lewis Hamilton can't stand it when a teammate starts outclassing them. Even after he basically stole his mechanics away.
So, save those stupid anti-Vettel narratives for the off-season lull and leave the nonsense alone.

I believe him. Honestly, he’d probably jump ship to Sebastian Vettel too. Either way, he’d get that chance to sharpen his skills and build a legacy alongside multi-time champs. He just didn't want some kid coming along and outperforming him.
Or maybe it's Nico Rosberg. He isn't tied down by some massive contract, and let's be real, he went toe-to-toe with Lewis Hamilton and drew blood. Plus, he actually snagged a title driving the exact same car as him.
There's another interesting thing here. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were buddies way back in the junior categories, and now they don't even speak. Then you look at how Sebastian Vettel ended up at Red Bull alongside Mark Webber once the latter refused to play second fiddle. Alonso bailed out of McLaren just to get away from Lewis Hamilton, and then did the same thing at Ferrari once word got out that Sebastian Vettel was coming. Now, we're seeing a similar pattern where Daniel Ricciardo is jumping ship to Renault just to escape being in the shadow of Max Verstappen.
None of the heavy hitters can stand genuine intra-team competition. Absolutely nobody.
Honestly, they should just give them some kind of button-activated turbo or NOS—like a rocket boost—that dumps an extra 100 hp for five seconds. They could hit it whenever they want, though maybe cap it at three uses per race. 🤣 The drivers' union would probably vote for Romain Grosjean to be the first one to test it out. 🙏
crimsonhawk23 is spot on here. Kimi is a notoriously shaky starter, so there’s really no point telling him to just let Vettel through at the lights. If he happens to nail the launch and manages to hold his position—with Vettel breathing down his neck right behind him—he can always sort things out later in the race. If Hamilton ends up tangling with Mad Max or something similar, maybe they'd even consider letting Finc take the win. Though, honestly, that probably wouldn't be a smart move either.
Jason Campbell70 said:In both those fast Q3 laps, the geniuses are basically sending driver number one out just to pull driver number two along. Especially when driver number one is fighting for the championship and driver number two doesn't have any points incentive at all, other than helping driver number one grab that title. At Indianapolis.
Alright, I think I've seen it all now. GG WP.
But honestly, it’s pretty obvious... Now they're trying to act like everything is totally equal. Regardless, tomorrow, once Kimi overtakes him—which is the most normal thing in the world when you've got one guy chasing a title—Hamilton fans are going to be whining about how Kimi is playing the wingman.
Maybe she blocked you. Or maybe she just isn't looking for any messages at all and went ahead and blocked everyone. Honestly, you’d have better luck just posting something on a thread you know she actually follows instead of begging people here to reach out to her on your behalf.
So, who’s actually at fault here? I bet you anything Fernando Alonso is going to go on a tear calling Kevin Magnussen an absolute idiot, but based on what we've seen so far, it isn't really that simple to call it.
Carlos Sainz is straight up calling for the total removal of DRS because it’s just too dangerous. When it triggers right before a corner, drivers end up slamming into the barriers like flies hitting a windshield. It’s only a matter of time before they scrap it for being a safety hazard, much like how they had to ditch those underfloor fans used for ground effect.

Kimi Räikkönen or Valtteri Bottas can only pull off a win if: - Ferrari or Mercedes lock down the championship before the finish line, making the race result irrelevant, or - Sebastian Vettel or Lewis Hamilton either DNF or fall so far behind they lose any chance at a podium.
