I would simply walk past the entire crowd, head straight to the front, and if I caught anyone whispering or making comments, I would just turn around so they could see my belly, and instantly, everything would go silent... as for those who didn't quiet down, well, I never even noticed them... and now that I have a three-month-old baby, women still call me out of turn everywhere I go 🙂 though, I must admit, I seem to get more attention from older men than from women
My experience has been quite different, at least when it comes to public transit. For instance, today I’m standing on a city bus next to an older gentleman; sitting directly across from him are two ladies, probably well into their late 60s or 70s. The second they noticed my baby bump, they started the whole routine—asking if I wanted to sit, fussing about how uncomfortable they felt for not getting up the moment I stepped on, etc. This man? He just stared out the window, completely indifferent. Generally speaking, I find myself only wanting to offer seats to older women. As for the men and the kids... honestly, just glue your backside to the seat and stay there, even if I were to go into labor right in front of you.🙄
My mom and my mother-in-law were both stunned when we found out it was a girl—and honestly, given what we were aiming for 😍, it was quite a surprise. But hey, at least everyone is healthy and safe. 🙄
And god forbid if she actually expected me to be able to pee standing up, too, right? 🙂
Take the subway, for instance. There was this one day I didn't have anyone to watch E., so it was just her, my belly, and me, standing from Kvatrić all the way to the suburbs. To make matters worse, E. fell asleep leaning against me, forcing me to hold her up by the handrail. And keep in mind, I was seven months pregnant. But no, apparently everyone is still running on that old, tired logic of "if you could handle the sex, you can handle standing." 🙄 Ever since then, I’ve lost all respect for the older generation. 🙂 The second there's an empty seat, I'm taking it.
Plus, the teenagers on the bus... the thing was packed, sweltering, and it was just me and my bump standing there surrounded by a sea of kids, while a woman in her fifties was practically begging me to take a seat. 😢 I just told her, "No thanks, I'm fine."
Before you even think about getting intimate, you really ought to have an answer ready to one vital question: what exactly am I going to do if my girlfriend gets pregnant? Because let’s be real—even condoms fail sometimes. If you haven't even considered that possibility, you aren't actually ready for a sexual life. And hey, if you do end up becoming a father, let me know so you can buy me a drink. 😉
By the way, she might be pregnant from pre-ejaculate. Do some actual research on Google. 👋
