Sure, it isn't malicious... but God, it is so incredibly irritating
Laura Vaughn3 said:She terrorized me with those private messages too—telling me point-blank that I shouldn't bother living in America. And then, to add insult to injury, she had the nerve to mention she’s a mother of three? She even went on about how she spent time in a postpartum ward with one of her kids—which makes her whole "expert" stance even more offensive than I thought. Honestly, how can someone be that delusional?

@Raymond Martinez4 My nephew actually told me I could go ahead and suck on a Gastal for a stomachache. Honestly—is that even advice you can take seriously?

Look, why can't she just admit she had no clue what kind of ward it was? And the whole "I don't live here" thing is irrelevant. She's speaking American!

It reached such a point yesterday that I simply couldn't bear it, so I had a cup of Folgers and used some Afrin for my nose.
I feel slightly guilty about it, though I suspect it won't cause any lasting harm.🙄

Just stick to Tylenol... and Afrin wears off way too fast anyway...
Roger Grant84 said:I’m calling out whoever thought labeling the maternity ward an insult—tell me exactly what you meant by calling it 🍿
.

Maybe she thought it was some old-school clinic where grandmas just sit around gossiping...😂
But honestly, she wasn't even that far off. They still have to deal with newborns there, after all. 😂
Ugh, here I am, just getting worked up over this—honestly, I’m mostly pissed at myself for even wasting my time reading that post in the first place...

What exactly was supposed to be "surprising" about pregnancy???? Either you're actually pregnant or you're a mother who doesn't even know where the postpartum unit is located... and if you aren't pregnant or a mom, then why are you even showing up on this forum acting like an expert to people who might actually care? It's just as stupid if someone smokes while they're pregnant, but quite frankly, I don't give a damn whether she chooses to smoke or not—that is a completely different conversation entirely.
What irritates me more than anything is when those "experienced" moms try to give you advice about getting enough sleep before the baby arrives...🙂
It’s such nonsense. Like I’m some kind of bear going into hibernation or something—as if I can just sleep my way through this and somehow emerge fully recharged so I never have to sleep again...

The truth is, I’m already a terrible sleeper. And whenever I’m lying there wide awake in bed, that thought always creeps in like some kind of curse: *just go to sleep... you need to catch up now because once this happens, you're never sleeping again.* Seriously, does anyone know if there's a button for that? Just click it and be done with it?🙂 🙂
Jack Hill10 said:So I took another one today, the Clearblue for $10... and yeah, still negative. I mean, hopefully they didn't screw up the first one, but my period is already two weeks late... I guess if I were actually pregnant, any test would have caught it by now.

The price tag doesn't matter here. It gave you the right answer. A test isn't going to fail you two weeks after your period was supposed to show up. Maybe it could have been off on the actual day it was due, but not now. Since you weren't looking to get pregnant anyway—congrats, and maybe be a little more careful next time...
Go see your OB-GYN. They'll likely just put you on Duphaston to get your cycle back on track.
