Kimberly Thompson36 said:I am seriously starting to lose my mind with my mother-in-law. She keeps harping on about how she can iron everything and wash all the baby’s laundry—she even suggested my husband should just bring her his dirty diapers so she can handle those too! Honestly? When I point out that he’s more than capable of washing his own kid's diapers, she just rolls her eyes at me... I guess in her head, her son is somehow completely incompetent when it comes to basic parenting chores.

And then yesterday, she tried giving me these totally bizarre "tips & tricks" about how we should handle intimacy once the baby arrives 😬
I'm 35 years old, and I just saw this one woman's comment:
"Wait, how do you ALREADY know the baby's gender?" 🙂
"Put a nightstand right next to the crib, trust me—you’re gonna be way too wiped out to be trekking across the room!" 😳 (maybe just 😬 inches
away)
"Honestly, you should just move in with me for the first two months. You won't have the energy for anything once you deliver." 😲

"Nobody’s gonna be real with you about how terrifying and painful childbirth actually is. I wish someone would've told me..." 🙄

from mother-in-law 😍
I’ve already been asked a few times in this totally doom-and-gloom way: "Are you ready to start a family?" 😵
and my bump is barely even showing yet... 😬
So I ended up in the hospital recently, stuck in a room with three elderly ladies—the youngest was born in '44—and me, the "young" expectant mother...
I don't even need to recount their initial comments ("Oh honey, back when *I* was pregnant... we didn't have ultrasounds or any of this tech stuff" 😬).
But the absolute highlight? My husband walks in, and the entire room just goes dead silent.
*...*
He steps out, and suddenly they start chirping away: "What a handsome husband," "Seriously, he's gorgeous," "My, what a young man," "Is he an athlete?" "He's so tall and fit..."
*Silence again.*
Then one of them whispers under her breath, "And you're pretty too, you've got lovely eyes."

Well, thanks a lot! 😬

hahaha, they did the same to me... 😁 and even eavesdropping! thank god for my gut, it loves making its presence known, so the "impression" is even stronger 😛
Since I was zero years old, everyone—my husband, my mom, my dad, even my mother-in-law—has been telling me they feel like this guy is 😵

My dear little home prophets also love to chat about stuff like how I'll look on the beach, if I’m gonna turn into Rambo, whether I'll be able to see my own feet, and all that junk... 😛
So I went for a checkup yesterday without my man, right? And this doctor actually asks if he should mark down that I'm pregnant because he noticed how young I look—like it’s some big secret we're hiding or something. 🤦
As if being pregnant at 22 is some kind of miracle or something.
I mean, okay, fine, I'm not exactly in my third trimester yet, but after looking at all my paperwork from regular visits and tests, and seeing I've already hit the second trimester... honestly, he really didn't need to go there.
Then I actually found myself sitting there trying to justify things by mentioning I have a husband. 🤣

HELL YEAH I AM!!! Every single word is spot on!
