Susan Clark10 said:I actually really dig them. Stylistically, they’re incredibly similar to Foo Fighters—not just the sound, but the whole aesthetic—except they ditch the keyboards and lean a bit more toward punk. For me, they’re definitely one of those definitive "THE" bands. 🙂
The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was how they’d shout things like "yeah, you're great!" or "you're the best!" after every single song. Honestly, shouting stuff like that at an American crowd feels a bit much. 😁
Man, that sounds awesome—I've never been much of a keyboard person myself. 🙂
And I can't stand those performers who yell, "You're the best!" or "Are you guys having fun?" It's obnoxious.
Plus, I'm not a fan of how this forum is looking lately.

Let's just hope it's only a seasonal thing for the holidays
Good grief! Look, every single one of you here performs like a top-tier rock band, and I’m not just saying that because I took a punch to the face tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good grief, while I was busy getting high with my friends, Sandra Chase16 managed to overtake me. Oh well, at least the view is decent. 🙂
I honestly don't get this whole thing with the t-shirts. 😵
Look, if they let us register, I actually want a shirt featuring a picture of gentlepuma20 or that weird fan guy. Aside from horseback riding and sailing, it’s pretty much the only sport where we women actually stand on equal footing.
And honestly, when it gets freezing outside, you might just recognize me as some random girl wearing her older brother's oversized green Burton jacket—plus my favorite gray Burton beanie, which I’ve washed so many times it basically feels like a plush teddy bear now.
On topic: so, were the Ferdinands actually the gold standard? And does Alex sound just as sexy in person?
Susan Clark10 said:Take it easy, Sandra Chase16—he was actually talking about sitting up in the front row of the Greyhound bus. 😉
@ wiredfalcon2: I was sitting down in the back, so I have no clue who those people were up top... though maybe we chatted while we were waiting outside? 🤔
A Burton cap with red and gray stripes, bangs, a nose piercing...
Alright, alright! But what about that description you gave earlier?😍

young-looking 🙂 I was sitting there with that female friend of mine, right in the middle of the upper floor on the right side.
You?
Sitting???? Give me a break!
Every single time my crew and I managed to scrape together enough cash to head out to NYC for concerts, we’d always wonder how on earth we ended up right in the front row. So thanks to you and the rest of those seated types.
