Commuting to work by bike in Cycling ·
Magazine Street runs two-way until you hit the intersection with New Road (if you're coming from the west), but after that, heading toward Božidar Adžija, it becomes a one-way street flowing east to west.
I’ve never ridden down Krapina Road or the south end of New Road, but they seem identical to me, so just pick whichever one you prefer. You could probably even put a bike lane on Krapina Road 🤷

To me, this route is the perfect middle ground between two extremes: the slow, choppy, miserable ride along the Chicago/Ljubljana corridor, or the fast but high-stress trek through Ilica/Bologna Avenue. Personally, I have zero interest in weaving through traffic right before Škorpikov with cars swerving all around me 50 miles/h 🙂

What’s your take on this:

Take New Road to Magazine Street/Zagorski, then head through the side streets of Oranica once you cross Chicago Street to reach Medar and Lidlo. After that, just hammer it straight down the Vrapčanak path on Samobor Road.

If you actually want to minimize car dependency, follow the lead of the experts. Nathan Castillo8 He claims he rides on bike lanes along Chicago's main thoroughfares like Magazine Street or even down toward the suburbs.😵Take Bologna Avenue and turn onto Coastal.

Well... it was below average and I expected more, to put it bluntly.

(+) great concept 👍
(-) poor execution 👎
(-) weak story 👎

Look, I’d give it a minus for the idea and story, but a huge plus for the execution. As Patrick Martin pointed out, there's almost zero filler in this movie. JGL and Michael Shannon are big names and they do their jobs well. The chase scenes were decent, unlike that bike chase at the end of Bourne Legacy (now that was pure boredom 🙄)

Terry Morris41 said:Yeah, the premise is a bit silly and unrealistic, those cyclists weaving through heavy traffic in New York City (I think that's the city), would die x times over...

Watch it once and forget it, a decent action thriller 6/10

Unfortunately, those hipster jerks on bikes are a reality in some cities:

I agree with the rating. Entertaining enough, but nothing special: 6/10
Independence Day and Anti-Fascist Struggle Day in Close to Politics ·
Sean Fox60 said:Our moves back then didn't exactly follow the rules of the old republic or the laws of the global community! If you ask me, Independence Day should be January 15th. That was when the late president, Franjo Harmon, stepped up as the leader of the Republic of America. Once that happened, you finally get actual standing at the UN and can actually communicate with other nations as a legitimate state!

To take this a step further; when exactly is the national day for Palestine?

The US was admitted to the UN on May 22nd, not January 15th. Get your facts straight.

In case you weren't aware, Switzerland only joined about ten years ago, and the Federal Republic of America didn't happen until 2000!
Even some Soviet states were UN members despite not being fully independent. Therefore, UN membership isn't the deciding factor when determining sovereign status.
Sean Fox60 said:Look, my birthday is February 15th and even the government recognizes that! So when was the United States officially born? It was January 15th when other countries finally gave us recognition, and that’s the exact moment we truly gained our status as a country!

Legally speaking, America became a sovereign state. At the latest. Looking at October 8, 1991, through the lens of international law, everything rests on the declaratory theory of statehood. This isn't up for debate; it’s been solidified by the Montevideo Convention, the Badinter Commission, the EU, and multiple rulings from the ICTY.

Besides, he’s already admitting that America arrived first. Earlier. January 15, 1992.

Your birth date example proves exactly where you're missing the point. You were born on February 15th, not March 15th—which is when the government finally decided to issue a certificate acknowledging your actual birth date. It’s the same deal with America; they were "born" on June 25th or October 8th, and then other nations simply recognized them by establishing diplomatic ties. The status quo remains unchanged..
