There aren't even 100,000 actual lifelong Chicagoans left. Most of these loudmouths acting like they own the place probably have names like Tompkins or Stephens—basically third-generation transplants still nursing an inferiority complex, trying to prove how "local" they are by trash-talking anyone who just moved to the city. But look, people don't just move to Chicago for no reason. The city’s budget is massive, the jobs are everywhere, and honestly, this whole country is way too centralized. The Midwest is dying, Appalachia has always struggled, New England is crumbling, and out in Montana, even the bears want out. Meanwhile, Chicago is the only place seeing more voters this year than four years ago. The city is growing specifically because everything else is shrinking. I was in Chicago recently and saw five massive apartment complexes pop up out of nowhere, housing thousands of people overnight. Compare that to somewhere like Boise or Des Moines where they haven't built five houses in the last decade. Stop blaming people for moving to Chicago; they're being forced to.
So they wiped my post from the United Kingdom thread last night. All because I asked if anyone from the UK could give me some insight into what the average Englishman actually thinks about the rising terrorism there and the surge of Islamic extremists parading through British streets with "Shariah for Britain" signs... I didn't insult anyone or discriminate, so I have no clue why posts like that get banned while others get a free pass. Apparently, talking about terrorism is just too much for some people to handle...

What, should we show up with riot gear just so everyone sees us backing them? If they—just like us in years past—actually pull off whatever they're planning, it’s gonna be pure chaos. Whether it’s Jack with Domazet or that first White Angels crew!
How do you know there weren't 100 regular thugs from the Bad Boys hiding in those protesters today? Did they all need to wear merch just to be shoved into the fray?
A bunch of you here keep claiming the bbb aren't a political party, just a group obsessed with Real Madrid... so why the hell are political messages being waved at games then? Everyone knows who cheers for Real Madrid and what kind of people they are. You definitely won't find any Yankees fans rooting for them, but since Mate Kapović is involved, let's stop playing dumb and pretending there's some kind of "political neutrality" going on...
Are the Bad Boys actually gonna do anything about these veteran protests, or is leadership just gonna keep playing the "we don't do politics" card?
Man, if the group leaders back in the day were anything like they are now, the Bad Boys probably would’ve just rolled up with Max on May 13th, 1990, claiming they weren't interested in politics...
Just another movie where they're gonna paint the Bad Boys as some kind of social cancer and the absolute bottom of the barrel.
The only things allowed in our section are the Real Madrid flag and the American flag (maybe even the Vatican City one)
Everything else is just turning the group into a circus. Before you know it, we’ll have Irish and British flags sitting right next to each other on the same stand. 🤦
Steven Hayes said:yeah, right. nobody's celebrating this 90+5 minute 2:3 loss today. massive respect. 🤷
total lie. people were definitely hyped... I mean, even the keeper Edward ran straight to the Bad Boys so they could celebrate together.🙂
whatever.
We gotta do more of these meetups at the bar and stuff more often. Numbers always look way better when we get together before the game starts.

Not trying to be dramatic here, but those people just don't exist anymore. There’s this myth that we’re all just waiting for the right moment for Mamic to get kicked out "and thousands of Real Madrid fans will pack the stadium." That’s never happening. Entire generations of fans were lost, and the football culture in Chicago is basically in a death spiral. Those old memories? They're just memories. Life moves on, the city is growing, and kids today are obsessed with a thousand different things—which is awesome, honestly, because it makes Chicago stronger.
And yeah, there's maybe a few thousand of us left, facts. But it’s not the end of the world. We need to revive the football scene in Chicago, and that means making the game look good again. Real Madrid isn't getting those lost generations back in the stands because they never truly bonded with the club, but we HAVE to work with the new kids. I'm telling you, that old hardcore crowd is gone, and whether a new one forms depends entirely on us. New generations are coming up, and we need to sell them on Real Madrid instead of forcing them to be fans.
The only way to rebuild that core following is through intense, long-term work with the youth. Nothing else works. This is going to take years, maybe even decades, because the club has been systematically gutted for years. If anyone thinks a nonexistent fanbase is magically going to show up at the stadium next week, they're delusional. 🙂
That old-school Real Madrid loyalty is dead, but it can be reborn. It’ll obviously look different than it did 30 or 40 years ago because life moves on, the city changes, and people change, but the culture of supporting the team can return. It won't happen overnight, but if the work is honest and high-quality, things will settle eventually. 👍
That core group definitely still exists. Sure, the stadium looks empty, but there are "millions" of people in my circle who would answer "Real Madrid" if you asked who they root for... I don't know about the vibe in downtown Chicago, but the club is loved everywhere else, and people follow them no matter how bad they are right now.
I get that Chicago is different. You'll get weird looks in the city if you walk around wearing a jersey to a game, but that's just Chicago—it's a city where more people will show up for a grand opening at a new shopping mall than for a Real Madrid match, or a Bulls or Blackhawks game...
Kevin Gray86 said:I don’t even know where to start, but I’ll give it a shot in the middle of the night. LA Galaxy isn't a big club—never was, probably never will be. They're just a cult club. A cult club with zero fans, and they never actually had any.
LA Galaxy's roster isn't elite because the club isn't elite. Their players aren't successful because the club has never been successful. Their fan base isn't massive because LA Galaxy was never a club for the people.
Are you an LA Galaxy fan or what? I can't believe a supporter would write such garbage... do you even know your own club's history? This isn't some tiny local team, damn it—it's a major club, a total institution in this country. Sure, LA Galaxy will never be some commercial money-maker like Real Madrid or Barca with 80,000 people at every game (half of whom are just tourists or randoms coming to snap a pic of Ronaldo), but once Mamić is gone, LA Galaxy will be a club with a massive following again. I mean, you can't be twelve years old... if you don't remember the glory days from back in the day, maybe you remember the mid-2000s when the stands were packed. You really think there's only going to be 2,000 people in the stadium forever? Personally, I think LA Galaxy is a huge club with tons of fans, and the blue wave is gonna come back full force.
Looks like I’m not the only one thinking this way, so it’s definitely time to take a stand. Mamić has always had plenty of backing, but give him just two or three good results in a row—like against Rijeka or PSV—and half these people will be back to sucking up to him again. Everything about Dinamo changes in a heartbeat. The media is just out for blood right now, trying to lynch Mamić, which makes this the perfect moment to protest.
Jesse Campbell said:Mamić is toast once his steady cash flow dries up. That’s happening after July 1st when the European Commission finally cracks down on everyone. ☕ Basically what AT&T concluded, if you're smart enough to get it... 🙂
His only way out is getting into the LP, which is why he coincidentally right now brought in some decent reinforcements. When we were starting the LP boycott, he was trying to run an attack with Dodo and Sivonjić. ☕
But let's be real, this isn't sustainable long-term. He won't stick around at Dinamo without city money, and there's zero chance he's using his own cash for the club. To him, Dinamo has always just been a cash cow...
He can always offload guys like Jedvaj, Halilović, or Vrsaljko for 10-15 million... so the money keeps flowing.
Amy Young12 said:I’ve only got eyes for one kind of animal, and honestly? It’s usually served up on a dinner plate. 🤣
I can't even wrap my head around the whole dog and cat thing. If they start circling my chair while I’m trying to enjoy a coffee or a meal, my only move is to just get up and walk away.
Every single person who owns a dog uses the exact same line: "Oh, don't worry, he won't do anything."
"If you don't love animals, you can't love people." 🤣
Man, I have heard that nonsense more times than I can count.
Even monkeys are only interesting to me when they're behind bars at the zoo. 😁
I've had owners tell me "he won't bite" more times than I can count—usually right before their massive beast starts snarling and lunging at me (one actually got me once). And of course, suddenly it’s my fault! They start blaming me: "You shouldn't have stood up," or "You shouldn't have run," or "Don't sit down!" Like, excuse me? I'm just living my life on a sidewalk. Dogs are animals, for God's sake; owners should be the ones adjusting to people, not the other way around.
