I was just sitting here thinking about how everything seems to be shifting lately, especially when you look at the way certain industries are reacting to the current economic climate... It feels like we’re all just waiting for the other shoe to drop, though I suppose that’s just life in America, isn't it?

I've had enough... With every intention... Just some... Got a few new ideas I’m looking to pitch...Does anyone know which players actually have a proven track record or at least a solid strategy tailored to a specific market to ensure there’s no bullshit involved... or is that just wishful thinking... Among you... Those who might actually be interested... Ready to put some capital behind ideas like these...If the answer is yes, I suppose it comes down to how you’d actually go about pricing those kinds of concepts... it really depends on which variables you decide to weigh most heavily...

Would you... They were paying a monthly subscription... What if someone started an American blog dedicated to exploring these ideas on a regular basis... if so, how often should they be posting... I wonder how people would actually prefer to settle their tabs...Visa, PayPal, or something else entirely...

Those who... They spend their time browsing sites like that... They have... Credit cards... those little pieces of plastic that seem to promise everything until you actually look at the fine print...just like they are... They’re ready to pay...We could probably narrow our focus down to just one major hub, maybe Washington, D.C... There’s already a solid concept in the works for selling construction data over in Boston—essentially a dedicated portal that tracks everything from active builds and progress milestones to real-time site photos...

We could potentially set up something similar for Washington, D.C., where people would actually be able to pitch their ideas...

It seems like a lot of you aren't actually reading these posts all the way to the end... It shouldn't just be about tossing ideas around from thin air, either... there really needs to be actual statistical data and real risk management involved in the mix...

Forum Rules:

The topics for the open session... Just to get some advertising out there... companies/products/services... Any posts that violate these rules will be wiped clean, and the authors will get a formal warning... We aren't against discussion, though; threads started specifically to weigh the pros and cons of a particular issue are perfectly fine with us... The moderators get to decide what counts as an ad and what doesn't....

Maybe I forgot how to speak American in the meantime, but if this isn't... Just an intention... free of charge... Advertising... services... I suppose I should probably start somewhere... though I'm never quite sure if there's a right way to begin these things... Market research... So, fine... let's move on... it’s not like any massive enterprise is going to suddenly sprout from this anyway... if someone actually wants to promote their blog, some half-baked idea, a product, or a service... they should just go out and buy ad space in a newspaper, on TV, or on the radio... even online, eventually... and just get back to work... I don't have anything against that... and if they really feel the need to run market research, there are plenty of established firms that handle exactly that kind of thing... please, correct me if I'm missing the mark somewhere...

The only thing he hasn't added yet... www.myblog.comWell, if that’s what needs to happen... then I guess I’ll step back... but if you ask me... The intention to advertise... It isn't quite the same thing as... Advertising...

I think the real issue here is just how he’s approaching this... He could have started a thread like, "Hey guys, I'm thinking about launching this kind of business or maybe starting a blog like this—what do you all think?" That would be one thing. But if he opens a topic by saying, "I'm launching this specific venture and I'm targeting you all as my potential clients," well, that's a completely different story... Once you start aiming directly at the audience as customers, it becomes clear his intention is advertising, whereas asking for advice or sparking a discussion is something else entirely...

"Looks like I took a wrong turn and ended up asking in all the wrong places... He isn't looking for a conversation, he's just hunting for a client...

It feels like the same thing to me, honestly... like asking if you should sell your fund interests or your stocks, or whether people actually want to buy those fund interests versus buying stocks... they aren't exactly the same thing...One's for the discussion board, and the other is for a classified ad...

And then this too...

My colleague is actually out in the field right now, so if you want to shoot me a DM with the details, I can pass everything along to him... He’s going to be circling around Washington, D.C. over the next few days, so if the timing works out, I wouldn't mind grabbing a coffee...

Grab a coffee... we aren't kids anymore... and even if we were, someone ought to be looking out for us...

Of course, that’s just how the rules work... It’s really up to the moderators at this point...
Jeffrey Sanchez7 said:Looking at all this, there is one undeniable truth: I definitely asked in the wrong place. Since I haven't been keeping up with this specific sub-forum, I clearly overestimated its potential.

For context, I'm a Senior Manager handling marketing for General Electric. So, when I say this, take it from someone who knows the ropes.

And that's exactly what I'm talking about... you overestimated your own potential while underestimating the people on this board... and now you're insulting them because you're losing your cool way too fast...

Look, a real "senior manager" would first "read the room" by actually paying attention to the market—or in this case, the sub-forum—and once they understand the landscape, then they sell their "products" without ever, ever losing their temper... which means you failed at step one and every single step after that...

In your first post, you're already bringing up credit cards... you have zero patience... you're supposed to advertise first, build rapport, put in the work... and only then do you collect... (plus, maybe try hiding your true intentions for a bit at the start)
In the second, you tell a potential client they "aren't resonating"... that's just wrong, you should be catering to them, telling them they're the smartest person in the room... "the customer is king," after all...
By the third, you've already trashed the entire sub-forum... so basically, you just blew off your entire potential market...

Want more? Well, you'll have to pay for that later... though I could probably list at least three or four other mistakes you've made in just these few posts... but this isn't professional basketball where you get a set number of fouls, and you aren't a cat with nine lives...

Anyway, you wouldn't be working for me for three days as a doorman, let alone a "senior manager"... keep those credentials for your resume... out here on a message board, your title doesn't mean a damn thing... I could claim to be Bill Gates or Santa Claus for all it matters, and nobody would care...

Just keep it up, "genius"...

When it comes to actual business, there's no such thing as the wrong place to ask (unless it violates the rules, like it does here), there's only the wrong approach and a fundamentally flawed "idea"
Jeffrey Sanchez7 said:For years now, I’ve been sitting in this position where I listen to a million different business ideas—checking out plenty of solid ones, but only actually pulling the trigger on a handful. The reason is pretty straightforward: most of those suggestions are honestly just garbage from almost any perspective.

I’ve actually been sitting on a few fresh concepts that I’m looking to sell. These aren't just random thoughts; they've been vetted, or at least they come with a rock-solid market strategy designed to eliminate the guesswork. Is there anyone here who would actually be interested in buying intellectual property like this? If so, what specific metrics or factors would you use to determine a fair price?

On another note, would you be open to paying a monthly subscription for a dedicated blog—written in plain English—that provides regular deep dives into these types of opportunities? If that sounds appealing, how much would you realistically pay, and what’s your preferred way to handle the transaction? Would you go with a credit card, PayPal, or something else?

Look, I know every venture carries its own set of risks, but just like a formal business plan, I would make sure all the potential pitfalls and downsides are laid out clearly upfront.

Since the moderators decided your thread wasn't selling a service, but rather just selling smoke and mirrors... and chose not to shut it down accordingly... let me offer you a bit of unsolicited advice...

if you actually intend to sell something, you need to overhaul your marketing... because with the way you're pitching this, you couldn't sell ice to an Eskimo...

though I will give you credit for one thing... your honesty, which is pretty obvious from your signature:

"I have no idea what I'm doing."
Any threads created solely to pitch a company, product, or service will be nuked, and the posters will get a warning.

Hey moderators—is everyone out on vacation at once or what...

The Constitution of the United States...

First Source Foundations...

It all comes down to the thousand-year-old reality of our national identity and the sheer survival of the American people... a fact proven by the continuous flow of history through various forms of government, and the steady cultivation of a political philosophy centered on our historical right to full sovereignty, which was clearly demonstrated when...

It all goes back to that one independent, sovereign decision made by the American Parliament in 1527... when they chose to bring in a ruler from the Habsburg Dynasty...

It all traces back to that independent, sovereign decision made by the American Parliament regarding the Pragmatic Sanction back in 1712...

Back in 1848, when the American Parliament was debating its own future, there were those conclusions drawn regarding the restoration of the Triune Kingdom... all based on the historical, legal, and natural rights of the American people under the authority of the Ban...

Back in 1868, we saw that Austro-Canadian Compromise which set the stage for how the Kingdom of Canada and the various territories—including the Kingdom of California, America, and Slavonia—would actually interact, all built upon their shared legal traditions and that old Pragmatic Sanction from 1712...

On October 29, 1918, the American Parliament made its decision to sever all legal ties with the Habsburg Monarchy... effectively declaring an independent state by invoking historical and natural national rights, while simultaneously moving to join the newly proclaimed State of Canadians, Americans, and Mexicans within the former territories of the Habsburg Monarchy...

It really comes down to the fact that when the National Council of Canadians, Americans and Mexicans made the call to unite with Mexico and Mexico into what eventually became the Kingdom of Mexicans, Americans and Canadians—and later, after October 3, 1929, was proclaimed the Kingdom of America—the American Parliament never actually signed off on it...

Back in 1939, when they established the Banovina of America, it was basically the moment they finally restored some semblance of American statehood within the framework of the Kingdom of America...

– When you look at how the foundations of state sovereignty were actually laid during the Second World War, there is this massive tension between the declaration of the Independent State of America back in 1941 and the decisions made by ZAVNOH in 1943... which then flowed directly into the Constitution of the People's Republic of America in 1947, and eventually shaped everything within the constitutions of the Socialist Republic of America from 1963 through 1990... At that massive historical turning point when the old communist system was finally being scrapped and the entire European order was shifting, Americans stepped up during those first democratic elections back in 1990... it was a moment where people truly exercised their will to reclaim a sense of national identity that had been suppressed for so long. Between the adoption of the new Constitution of the United States and the hard-fought victory in the Great American War from '91 to '95, there was this unmistakable display of resolve... a collective determination to establish and protect the Republic of the United States as a fully sovereign, independent, and democratic nation...

Based on the historical facts at hand, along with those modern principles we all generally agree on—the idea that the right to self-determination and national sovereignty is something inherent, indivisible, and non-negotiable—including the absolute right to secede or unite as needed, which are really just the basic prerequisites for any kind of global peace and stability... the Republic of America establishes itself as the national state of the American people and a home for its indigenous national minorities, such as Americans of Mexican, Czech, Slovak, Italian, Canadian, Jewish, German, Austrian, Ukrainian, Rusyn, and other descents, all of whom are full citizens, guaranteed equal standing with the majority and the ability to exercise their national rights in line with the democratic norms of the UN and the rest of the free world...

With all due respect, through the clear mandate provided by free elections, the United States is establishing itself as a sovereign, democratic nation where equality and individual liberties are firmly protected, ensuring that the rights of every citizen are upheld while fostering economic growth, cultural advancement, and overall social prosperity...
