We should set up a local referendum with actual legal teeth—questions designed to wipe out the current mob boss and prevent his cronies from sliding right into his seat. It needs to be legally binding for our institutions. If we time it during the next election for those bureaucrats over at the U.S. Congress in May 2014, we could keep the costs down.
Instead of wasting energy collecting signatures for nonsense like cultural identity debates or marriage laws used as distractions from how broken this country is—while guys in the fan clubs get tossed around by the law—we should put that energy into organized volunteering. We need a massive grassroots campaign for a referendum while these local bigwigs are hitting rock bottom in popularity.
