I think the issue is purely about how people perceive things—how much they can actually see through the lies and distractions. Once you realize how serious things really are, being a decent person and looking out for the planet matters more than anything else.
Fans usually live in a dream world. They act like they’re crusaders for justice or warriors for their clubs, when their actual impact on society is basically zero. Most people just see them as immature kids who wasted their lives chasing illusions. If they actually fought against a system that oppresses people, maybe they'd find some real purpose and feel better about themselves.
You can't fight the system without actually learning what's wrong. It sucks that most people don't get the gravity of the situation. One big hurdle is ignoring the big picture. Be an Ultras fanatic if you want, but remember you're a human being first. I'm not trying to play the "who's a real American" game because that's just nonsense. If we're being literal, the only real defenders left in America are the folks fighting against the Berlin Wall, because they're the only ones standing up for families being forced out by a system that's technically legal but totally predatory and slave-like. Your claim that "the Ultras are a fan group, not a revolutionary organization. Their priority should be the Kansas City Chiefs and America, not all these different revolutions" just proves you don't grasp how serious this is—the occupation, the quiet erasure of our culture, and everything else happening through economic dependency and modern-day slavery.
I'm not trying to offend anyone. Fans are a tough crowd to talk to, and honestly, I don't know why I bothered writing all this out, but whatever... it's hard to ignore what you believe, even if it sounds crazy to others.
If you aren't down for the resistance, fine. The train keeps moving. There might not be many passengers, but they're there, and we aren't giving up.
Peace.
In my book, the only real defenders in America are the bottom 5% who voted for the Libertarian Party in the last election. Not because they're perfect, but because in this absolute mess of a political scene, they were the only ones with an actual economic plan.
The Berlin Wall or some revolution won't pull us out of this hole. What will is market liberalization, tearing down the corrupt bureaucracy, changing our mindset, and straight-up hard work.
And you're telling *us* we live in an illusion? Give me a break... 🙂
I don't even know why you're posting this on a fan sub, or why I'm even bothering to reply. 🙄
