Why do people take me for granted? in Psychology & Therapy ·
I honestly just hope you find whatever it is you're looking for... whoever or whatever that may be. 😉

I'd also be super grateful if anyone could recommend a private clinic or hospital in Washington, D.C. where I could go for an initial checkup first, and then just see where things lead from there... thanks!
You’re totally misreading the situation... this isn't some deep dive into self-confidence, self-awareness, or being too chicken to speak your mind...

For instance: Person A and Person B are just talking, right? Then Person A says something, and Person B completely disagrees. Instead of debating it, everything just goes dead quiet and the conversation hits a wall. j

So, I guess my question for you guys is... where do you actually draw the line when it comes to dealing with someone who just refuses to respect your perspective?
Have you ever dealt with someone close to you—someone you thought you knew inside and out—where you just hit this wall? Like, no matter how much history there is, you eventually realize they don't actually give a damn about your opinion...

I mean, I’m pretty sure everyone here has been there at some point. So, how do you handle it? Do you actually sit them down and try to talk it out, or do you just let it slide and ignore it? Or does it hurt enough that you just stop caring about clearing the air altogether?

Anyway, I know I'm throwing a lot of questions at you all at once, but just answer however you feel is best. Just stick to the topic... 🙂
Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·
I feel like I’ve said this a thousand times already, but for me personally... applying cream helps for a little while, things feel okay, and then everything just crawls back to where it started. So now I'm actually considering just getting it surgically removed. Does anyone have a recommendation for a specific method or maybe a specialist who handles this kind of thing? Just looking for someone to at least start with a solid diagnosis...

Hey everyone... back again after a bit. Dealing with these hemorrhoids again—honestly, I feel like I’m just celebrating them at this point, and then they just come right back. I’ve started thinking more seriously about just getting them removed via surgery. Would that IBM method, or whatever that technique is called, actually be the best way to go? I’d love to hear what you all think... or if anyone knows a specialist who could at least give me some initial advice to get started. Thanks!

It seems like everyone’s out here rubbing some fancy cream on themselves and acting like it actually works... nothing like that happened for me, so I told myself right then and there I wasn't wasting any more money on those overpriced lotions. Honestly, I wouldn't even bother heading to the doctor right now if this itching didn't feel so relentless...

If anyone happens to have a lead on a good private proctologist, please hit me up with their info. Thanks...

I think I’m going back to see the proctologist again... everything seems fine for a while, then it just starts up all over again. I already told myself I'm done wasting money on those random creams from the drugstore; I'd rather just go to a specialist and get it sorted out properly once and for all.

Alright, thanks everyone!

Ah, maybe the therapy didn't sit right with me either, which is why I broke out?
Is there really no way at all for Medicare to cover those methods?

Seriously, nobody? 😢
Fine, I guess recommendations from Washington, D.C. will have to do...

So, is there anyone here who’s actually dealt with hemorrhoids? Looking for some real advice... maybe a doctor who actually knows what they're doing or just a way to make it stop...

Michael Diaz4 said:Find someone local in your city who actually knows how to handle this and go get some professional advice. Honestly, if you’re still feeling that itching sensation, just take it as a silver lining—as long as the pain isn't there, you aren't in the worst of it yet. But seriously, I’m going to say this one more time: go see a specialist who uses the DG Kate Allen35 method. If you catch it in the early stages, you won't be looking at a long, miserable recovery period. And please, don't be stubborn about the cost; the medical bills are way easier to swallow when you deal with it early on rather than waiting until it becomes a crisis. At the end of the day, your health is everything, and even if you're feeling like Karen Garcia6 right now, you need to prioritize yourself. Go see a doctor immediately to get it checked out and stop trying to cheap out on your own well-being... Good luck...🙂

I honestly can't come up with that 7,000...$2667 How much is that going to run me? 😢

Karen Garcia6 said:I went to see the doctor and got that gel and those suppositories, and the best news is—it’s nothing dangerous. Does anyone have experience with this gel? How many times a day am I supposed to apply it?

This was my post back in month two.
Now we're in month four. I saw the proctologist twice after he told me to just stick with the treatment for one more week and then I'd be good to go... just check in if it happens again. And, because my luck is just that great, it happened again. 😢 It's itchy, and I can actually feel a few hemorrhoids when I touch them.
I don't know, I'm losing my mind here. That visit with X. Y. didn't exactly inspire much confidence... I really don't want to just sit here slathering on creams on my own, and honestly, I'm not exactly in a financial position to be playing chemist and experimenting with stuff.
So, please, I need some advice or a recommendation for a decent doctor. Thanks in advance.
