Fun facts about the seventh art in Movies ·
Since Danny Lloyd was just a little kid and this was his big break, I guess Stanley Kubrick was actually super protective of him throughout the whole process.
While they were filming, Danny actually thought he was starring in some intense drama rather than a horror movie—can you believe that?
He didn't even get to see the unedited cut of the film until he turned 17, which was like 11 years after they finished shooting!

Now this is an interesting topic!
My little contribution:
The Conjuring — back when it was playing in theaters over in the Philippines, some cinemas actually brought in priests to bless the audience before the movie even started.
Apparently, it was because some people were reporting feeling this "negative presence" after watching it.
The priests were even offering psychological support to the viewers too.

redbear2 said:It’s alright, but it could have been better. It’s a decent enough watch if you catch it once. Kind of like when you stumble upon a solid movie on Netflix late at night and just decide to roll with it.

If you're still on the fence about whether to watch this or not, this summary is honestly perfect. +1
Hey there! I was wondering—how can I go about checking my testosterone levels? Is there a specific test I should ask for, or is it just part of a standard blood panel?
Also, any idea how long it usually takes to get the results back?

I don't know, I've just got a bad feeling about this one. It seems like such a tough game to adapt, even if the core story is actually pretty straightforward.
I guess I'm putting more of my hopes into The Last of Us.

Well, you wouldn't have been able to play it on a PC anyway, since it's a PlayStation 3/PlayStation 4 exclusive.
And yeah, the game is absolutely incredible—I mean, it was made by the legendary developers at Naughty Dog, the same geniuses behind the Uncharted series and Crash Bandicoot.
Basically, everything those guys touch turns to gold, so I'm crossing my fingers that the movie doesn't let us down!👍

If the movie turns out to be even half as good as the game...🙏 🙏
That game was a total masterpiece—honestly, something I don't think we've ever really seen before.

So, when Maggie gets hit by this weird virus that starts turning her into a cannibalistic zombie—during that whole transformation process—her super loving dad (who happens to be the legendary Arnold, of course!) sticks right by her side, even if it might actually cost him his life.
Have you guys seen this yet? Are you planning to, or maybe just skipping it entirely? If you have watched it, what did you think?
It feels like Arnold is getting closer to the end of his career, and since he’s basically a legend to me, I just can't pass up any chance to see him on screen.
Personally, I thought the movie was pretty decent—maybe a 7/10—though I guess it’s definitely not for everyone.
I should probably mention that there is very, very little action—almost none, really—and Arnold doesn't talk nearly as much as he used to; it honestly feels like the writers didn't quite "use" him enough.
The concept behind the film is excellent, but maybe the execution wasn't quite there, though the acting was pretty solid.
They portray Arnold as a total Alpha Male, and man, that beard in this movie... just 🙏 🙏
Abigail (playing Maggie) also did an amazing job! She had a few rough spots, but hey, I'm not claiming this is some absolute masterpiece or anything.
My final tip: if you need to rewind the ending five times, go ahead and do it! That last scene has way more depth than it seems at first glance.

I agree that it's a good flick—I wouldn't go so far as to call it "great," but it was definitely solid!!👍
