Anyway, I'm just being a thread-killer here. What do I know? I was hanging out at Pasim over in Kseta the other day, and man, it was seriously 🙏 🙏 🙏
Just let them play there. 😕
Joshua Newman2 said:Fine. If that’s how you want to define "community," go ahead. Though we both know you don't actually believe that; you're just saying it because it suits your narrative. Feel free to reintegrate him into that tiny little bubble.
As for me, I only feel any sense of connection within the two specific sub-forums I actually visit. For instance, I don't know a single one of these guys from the sports section, and our relationship is entirely one-sided—we're total strangers.
Precisely. 🙏
Edward Howard2 said:It looks like the soccer crowd has teamed up to turn this thread into their own personal offside trap. They’re out here insulting people and spamming the board, all under the wing of one of the biggest trolls on the site—who also happens to be a moderator, Leonard Nimoy. Honestly, they’re clearly just trying to force a shutdown of this topic, so I figured the best move is to just lay out the facts and call it what it is...
12 regulars from the F1 subforum weighed in on Maminho’s status.
12 folks from the F1 section voted in favor of letting Maminho back into the Formula 1 discussions.
That includes two moderators—one current and one former F1 mod—and both of them are backing the decision to keep Maminho banned.
Everyone else chiming in? Just people who don't care, people who wouldn't have any connection to Maminho even if he were unbanned, or those soccer fans who just drifted over here specifically to troll.
So, it’s safe to say Maminho has the absolute, 100% support of the entire F1 community, including the mods. Now, it’s totally up to the site admins to decide if they’ll let him back into the F1 subforum or not.
Michelle Palmer6 said:Honestly, I don't know—it’s pretty obvious some people still need a basic lesson in how the world works.🤷
I remember, for instance, during Euro 2008, he flooded two whole pages while using the handle Armenia, and half of that was just straight-up swearing and insults.
Or that time he actually commented saying he hoped every single player from a certain club would get horribly injured—some even wished they'd die.

Just hand out the ban already, for heaven's sake, because this is some next-level idiocy. 🤣
The environment is to blame for Manny Pacquiao's behavior; he's actually a smart guy, so there really isn't much left to say here. 🤣
stormybadger8 said:Well, Inter fans, that's it—from your 5:34 PM post onwards from this point on, this PDF and thread are amazing; seriously, just a massive collection of stunning, beautiful, and top-tier images. A perfect example , even better . It’s definitely a huge plus that Manny Pacquiao will never post about soccer again, but mostly it's for his own sake and his eyes.
If posting stuff like this is considered normal here—especially coming from a moderator—what are we even supposed to expect from a 17-year-old kid who wanders in by mistake? 🤷The behavior of the group reflects the individual. Now I get why Manny Pacquiao was totally chill in Formula 1 but went crazy in soccer; clearly, this kind of behavior is just standard practice there. 😲I first hung out on Reddit back from 1998 to 2002, then came back from 2004 until now with just one username change, and I have never, ever seen anything like this on the Formula 1 or AV Tech subreddits I frequent. I barely even watch soccer, but after this, I'm definitely done. 😱
You guys might think this is some big joke, but as a father with two little kids, I find this absolutely disgusting. 👎
Sorry, I said I wouldn't write anymore, but I couldn't just sit here and stay silent.
mellowhawk34 said:Look at you, acting like some big shot, heading up to the VIP stands just to harass a supporter for celebrating a goal. You think you’re hot stuff, don't you? And I bet you’re a "real" fan too, right? With your 120 away games under your belt where instead of being down in the pit with the rest of us, you’re sitting up there watching another group from the center stands.
Everything was paid for—the travel, the tickets, health insurance, social security, the whole nine yards. Now we're even fighting for heated seats in the stadiums.
Every single chant is a copy, and every other weekend when Cleveland plays at home, one of our guys is there in Cleveland with a dictaphone recording everything.
And sure, we all showed up on buses because we’re such cowards.
Now watch closely, because I'll show you how the internet creates a fake reality and how we're all just "internet fans"—don't let that keyboard hit you on the way out. I mean, who knows, maybe someone from the demon is a hacker or something.🙄
What an objective guy you are. Honestly, I'd love for you to come down to the VIP section next time we have a game in San Diego and measure the decibel levels of the cheering. While you're at it, maybe calculate the average age multiplied by the number of seats, check the blood work of the older fans, count exactly how many flares versus strobes were used, and tell me what font they used on the banners.
PS. I'll pay for your ticket myself and meet you at the gate.

And then those cowards don't even show up in Cleveland...
bluewalker92 said:We had 18 of us head out to Kharkiv. We spent two days wandering the city and didn't see a damn thing, then we hit the stadium and suddenly it's like we landed in New York City... Banners with Karadžić and Mladić, people chanting "Mexico" and all that crap..
