After that, it was just a nonstop parade of sarcasm and snide remarks. If you actually looked closer at 😉 , maybe you'd see it.
Fine, I was reacting specifically to those posts where they bring up Arcade Fire and Frederick Ferdinand, right? For God's sake. Is there anything more infuriating than someone deciding to go to war with you by default, completely ignoring what you actually wrote just because you pissed them off?
I honestly can't be bothered fighting with music elitists anymore. You win. 🙏 🙏 🙏 May the gods of high-brow indie bands protect you all. 🙏 🙏
Kevin Chavez3 The user said:It seems others have already pointed out how completely indifferent everyone is being toward this same issue. Is anyone actually going to pay attention? 😘
I’m addressing the people who actually give a damn about this. Honestly, I couldn't care less whether some band does a commercial jingle or not—it's pretty obvious from the comments. Kevin Chavez3, I know you can't stand me, but is your brain truly incapable of processing what I wrote? Do yourself a favor: shove your head back into your alternative ass and leave it there. 🙂
Kevin Chavez3 Asks: It’s honestly pathetic how mistypanther is so blinded by rage that he doesn't even realize he's actually agreeing with Borg. Is anyone else seeing this? 😂
How on earth does my indifference somehow imply that I agree with anyone? Is that really how logic works now? ☕ I am absolutely sick of this. Between the endless ads and the useless bands, I'm losing my mind. Is anyone else actually getting fed up with this garbage? The only thing involving music that's actually caught my attention lately—specifically regarding commercials—is the fact that I would happily kick James Blunt right in the teeth. Honestly, enough already.
What is wrong with you people? That’s just plain false. Franz Ferdinand are icons specifically because they have enough backbone to reject commercial tie-ins, whereas anyone who sells out for an ad is absolute trash. Honestly, does anyone even have a brain left? 🤮

If you're interested, you're welcome to come check it out. 😉 Plus, there’s plenty of other people training at clubs, like those run by Mayhen and Rostohar.
Of course I'm interested. But let's talk business—how many zeros am I looking at for a monthly rate?😁

How's it going? Just show up, check it out, and if you like what you see, start training. 🙂 The crew here will point you toward all kinds of different skills.
You don't need to be in any specific "normal" shape first; every technique relies on natural movement, and it’s even better if you learn how to work with your own body weight. 👍 Though, you'll probably find it easier if you stay at your natural weight. In the long run, these skills definitely help balance your body weight and overall health. 👍 It's certainly not a bad choice for you.
Personally, though, that won't be enough for me. Once the weather warms up, I'll start light running, then some rolling... A little more raw conditioning would be good too. 🙂
This looks incredibly interesting. 🙂Where do you train?
Jujigatame said:When the weather gets nice, you can take it easy outside—jogging, cycling—but right now you can start getting into push-ups, sit-ups, stretching... that stuff matters a lot. Beginner workouts aren't "too intense" simply because you don't have the technical knowledge yet to make things complicated; you're just learning. At my gym, there's a group of people roughly 25 to 50 years old—all mostly beginners, the usual crowd, nothing fancy... give it five months and you'll see how great they're moving. 😉
First, you have to decide what actually interests you... striking, grappling, a mix, or something else entirely...
thanks 👍
I'm interested in full-body striking plus using equipment, like various stick techniques. Regardless, I have zero desire to train just to go out and fight people; I want to build some conditioning and learn a martial art for its own sake. I’ve never been much of a brawler and I've always avoided conflict—except for those times I had to step in to defend a lady, though I usually ended up taking the hits myself. Still, the intention was noble. 😁 Now, if I knew more, I could pick the discipline that truly calls to me. But from what I can tell, there are so many different styles and sub-styles that trying to cross-reference them all just to be certain is an impossible task.
restlessmarlin6 said:Learning a skill shouldn't be an exhausting ordeal even for a beginner; all you really need is the willpower. 😉
So what exactly are you training? How’s it actually going? I feel completely burnt out from running around and dealing with all this nonsense, and honestly, the motivation just isn't there. I even have a decent bike now, but this damn rain and snow—it's driving me insane. On top of that, I started playing music again, and frankly, it's a total disaster...
So, here’s my question. How much of a grind is this going to be for someone who hasn't touched a weight in four years and managed to pack on an extra 20 pounds in the meantime? Is it actually smarter to get back into decent shape first, or are these beginner workouts really not that taxing? Because honestly, why bother committing to a training schedule if even walking to the kitchen feels like a marathon? 😁
Sure, even if the sport involves breaking some coward's ribs when they charge at me with a heavy hit, fine. Let's call it a contact sport. Just keep in mind that I haven't moved an inch since my last post. I am still staying exactly where I am.
Alright, listen up. I’m 104 years old and haven't moved from my chair—or maybe even my bed—in years. I smoke three packs a day, and honestly, I’m so active that monks who spend decades rotting in their cells would look like Olympic athletes compared to me. But I’m actually looking to move. What kind of sport could I possibly start to get back in shape and finally drop the weight I've been packing on over the last four years? Any ideas? Thanks.
Lonesome Hobo said:Guy, you only have yourself to blame for being a laughingstock... you can thank your own arrogant and primitive comments on other subforums for that. That’s how you became notorious, and that’s why people are reacting this way. Why on earth are you acting surprised?🙄 ☕
I am honestly stunned by this comment. To think this comes from someone who actually knows their music.🤣
As I’ve already said, most of you music-obsessed morons belong in some kind of chamber where you can be honored with a dose of napalm. Look, if my name gets brought up, I’ll quote you and answer back, but that’s it. For instance, I don't mention you at all—I couldn't care less about you. Who even are you? I have no clue. Yet, you're pretentious and stupid enough to try and drop my name when you don't even know me, let alone anyone who knows me. You don't just lack acquaintance; you lack basic awareness. It’s pathetic, and honestly, I’m going to call you out and kick you to the curb because it’s just sad. Is it really that hard to actually have a life? Must it be this extreme that you spend your time mentioning strangers? Why don't you go start a gossip thread on some random subreddit instead? You could probably be a moderator there. 🤣
So, I just heard this thing today and damn, I was actually hoping it would be a decent track. It’s boring as hell—what a waste. Honestly, who gives a shit if they censored it or not?
