I really agree that we spend way too much time stuck inside our own heads—lost in all those mental constructs, rigid plans, and endless ideas about how the world *ought* to look. We get caught up in all this wishy-washy thinking that just pulls in more desires, fears, hopes, and anxieties. You start spiraling with thoughts like, "What if things don't turn out exactly how my brilliant mind mapped them out?" or "How can I force my intentions to actually work?" or even, "Wait, does this choice align with everything I’ve learned and processed so far?"

Now, don't get me wrong—it's not like we shouldn't think or live with our minds at all. But intellectual logic alone isn't nearly enough to reveal the full picture of the world if we actually want to live in it with a sense of true integration.

I won't bore you with all the granular details because that would be pointless, but there are certain exercises where you simply visualize your head being located right in the center of your chest.
Just try that... in various everyday situations.
Technically speaking, it's not hard to do once you get a little practice under your belt.

The real struggle comes when Her Majesty, the Head, starts to panic. It’s surprisingly difficult for the mind to get used to the fact that, despite all its automatic reactions and elaborate explanations for everything it perceives, it isn't actually the center of the universe.

St. Jude yesterday

The weather we saw yesterday is likely to be what we experience for the next forty days.

"Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's"... we've all heard that teaching, but let's be real: a person doesn't just survive on bread alone. We live by every single word that comes from the mouth of God!

Honestly, it’s heartbreaking. Woe to anyone who would trade their inner Christ for a few measly pieces of silver. To me, that kind of betrayal is nothing short of spiritual suicide.

And goodness, my heart goes out to the naive souls who act like Simon Magus—thinking they can just use a stack of cash to buy the ability to summon the Holy Spirit.

******************************

A medical school professor was giving his introductory lecture: "We’re starting with the fundamentals of an autopsy. There are two things you absolutely have to master here. First: you have to get over the gross factor. Pay attention!"

The professor reaches over,
sticks a finger into the corpse on the table, pulls it out, and licks it.

"Alright, your turn."

Pale and fighting back the urge to vomit, the students
take turns mimicking the professor's exact move. Once everyone had finished their turn, the professor remarked:
"The second equally important thing is listening intently and following my instructions closely.
I put my finger into the anal
opening, but I actually licked my own middle. So,
make sure you're paying close attention..."

Eowyn:
At some point, a woman simply surrenders because she realizes there is no way out. In that state of total numbness and shock, she dissociates from her own body and just prays to God that it will be over as soon as possible.

😢 😢 😢

Is it possible to strip away more than just physical safety—to essentially steal a person's respect for their own body and sexuality?

I believe that due to biological functions and physical makeup, women experience sexuality on a much deeper level than men do.
Because of that, I truly believe an act of violence like this hits a woman far harder than what we call the rape of a man.

(I also think men suffer much more deeply from what I’d call "emotional rape." It happens to them at every turn; they are humiliated and hurt, and it doesn't even have to involve anything sexual... but there is absolutely NO acknowledgment of it. Women generally navigate emotions with more ease...
but the impact is just as devastating.)

In a sexual act, a woman lets someone in ....and she is far more selective about that than a man is... I don't think I even need to explain why.
No modern rationalization can ever be stronger than that profound , instinctive reality...

Eo:
When a woman is raped, it creates a very specific state of consciousness.
She isn't silent because she's afraid. The process works entirely differently. After the act, she is in shock. She doesn't even fully grasp what happened to her. She is split: her body is one thing, and her soul is somewhere else entirely. The reaction is pure revulsion. She tries to wash and scrub her body just to somehow negate the act itself. It’s an unconscious, yet completely natural response.
Then comes the guilt. Hours upon hours are spent spiraling, wondering if she did something wrong or if she somehow caused the whole situation. That is why women stay silent. They try to sweep the event under the rug, hoping that if they ignore it, it might just vanish.

Think about this for a moment before you start talking nonsense about legal penalties or other trivialities that are supposed to serve as some kind of satisfaction for what is, frankly, an amputation of the soul.

Think about it next time you see a girl out in the world who seems to be holding herself tightly together—shoulders and neck tense, eyes cast down, jaw clenched. She carries herself as if she’s been stabbed in the solar plexus, with a poison spreading toward her heart that causes a constant spasm, a wound that feels like it has split her very being in two...

...I don't know how to describe that phenomenon more precisely... but I have noticed it often.
And it isn't always as overtly obvious
as my description might make it seem.
Just look closer... in the streets, in a grocery store.
And don't go thinking that your unsolicited intervention would be welcomed.

It's the upper part of a body that, out of helplessness, pain, and shame, has rejected the lower half.
How do you restore their capacity for joy and love?
How?

(Our film
foxes
does an incredible job portraying the reality of sexual violence against both women and men.)

Exactly! And honestly, I am sick to death of the moronic jokes regarding rape and survivors that we hear from idiots... everywhere you look.

I had a chat with Solaris earlier today, and we touched on something important. We decided it would be best to move all our banter, side discussions, extra planning, and any new ideas regarding this whole witchy project over to the "pirate edition" of the Thread... that way, the new generation can truly carry on the legacy of the old school in the right spirit. 🙂
