We haven't opened any more threads about the witches before. The "witch online" concept was originally Vješcev's idea, and honestly, it’s been a pretty engaging series of discussions.

There was always just one single "witch" thread. The fact that genNorec started a new topic is a different story altogether—it's a bit of a rebellion, a desire for a dedicated space where we can talk openly about spiritual matters. And let's not forget the chat rooms; if you're looking for live chatting, go find some pirate site.

The people who originally spearheaded the Witch series were Wizard and Snake's Kiss, but they aren't interested in continuing the Witch discussions here anymore.

So, look at this as a continuation of the Witch series rather than just another random thread about them.

Well, there's one.
The previous one is shut down, and honestly, that "pirate edition" thing is just a joke anyway. 😁
Since there’s talk about opening up a specific sub-forum if enough people want it, the pirates will probably just be moved over then. For now, I'm just waiting to see if they actually decide to open it or not... so until then, let it stay as it is.

I honestly have just one question... now that the Wizard has stepped down?

Are we really going to keep letting these spammers derail us with their constant provocations? I’m talking about those well-known characters we all recognize, the ones who do nothing but circle the drain with the same endless, repetitive nonsense...

Are we just going to sit back and let debates with them drag us away from the actual topic, forcing us into an endless defensive crouch or sinking into shallow chatter filled with "wisdom" that belongs in a cheap Hallmark card rather than a serious discussion?

Look, they are pathetic people looking for help, and they clearly don't know how to get attention without being inflammatory.

But let's be real for a second... don't we all deal with enough of these types in our daily lives out in the real world?
Instead of feeding the fire, shouldn't we actually try to offer them some guidance?
Can we at least find a bit of peace here online? Can we focus on concluding what we are doing and why we are doing it? It seems much more productive to write one high-quality post for ourselves and for those who actually value substance, rather than wasting our energy, our time, and our own reputations on people who have already decided they refuse to believe us.

I am voting to keep those notorious spammers out of this space entirely.
And in exchange, I give you my word: I won't engage in any more smart-aleck comments myself.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy to extend the agreement I made with Wizard to all of you too.

First off, greetings to our new moderator and the old one who’s just squinting from the sidelines.
And a nod to our resident spiritual counselor, St. Peter. If we were being poetic, we'd say *tu es petrus*—we are all rocks, stubbornly trying to ensure this 6th edition follows its own path, just like all the ones before it.

What can I say to kick things off?
The sun is starting to make its presence felt. It’s still cold out there, which is actually a good thing. It clears the mind. Essential, really, during these winter months of contemplation and doing the inner work.
Personally, I spent most of this year working hard outdoors—an internal necessity, if you will—so I’m using these last few months before my favorite season, spring, arrives to pull myself together and clear out some more mental clutter. 😁

To start things off, I'll be brief and just post a few verses. Consider them taped to the door of this edition for good luck. 😉 :

The topic witch online has existed for over two years now. Throughout this entire time, Snake and I have been its keepers. With the arrival of new participants and a massive surge in posts during the fourth and fifth editions, the topic and its spirit have adapted to the users, heading down its own path.

The moment I felt that the topic and its spirit no longer aligned with my own path, I refused to start retraining or grooming the participants. I had no desire to create little clones of "Vjescc" in my own image. That goes against everything I believe in.

My path belongs to me and my personality alone. Every person is an entire universe unto themselves. Everyone must find their own way.

At a certain point, it was best to let the topic break free from its shadows and its old identity. It needed to develop naturally in the direction the participants were leading it.

Solaris took the reins after expressing interest.

Solaris, you now have the freedom to manage the Thread, but you also carry a certain responsibility. You are now tied to it. The Thread has become a mirror of who you are...

And boldsailor32 has finally gained his freedom. 🙂

One more important thing, Solaris.

You asked if Snake or boldsailor32 could provide a calendar for the whole year... Hmm. Why? Witch Sabbathi and Esbath dates aren't secret formulas or magic rituals hidden away in hard-to-find holy books.
On the contrary, we are talking about natural cycles that are known to everyone. Solaris, I wrote extensively about this in the last edition of witch online. With a little reflection, a standard American calendar, and a few searches on Google regarding the exact times of equinoxes and solstices for this year (here in the US), anyone can create a pagan calendar. A witch's calendar.

And everyone should create their own.

So go ahead and do it! After all, you chose to take leadership of this topic through your own will, not by force.

Grandma, you also have the freedom to hunt for mushrooms or grow cacti as much as you like. But I haven't noticed 100m sprinters hitting their first great times via doping. And certainly not using a Yamaha 500.

Instead of answering your email, I'll ask this: Are you familiar with the drummer from the backing band of the legendary Muppet Show? That drummer is a devil. The only problem is he constantly has to be kept on a leash...

Snake and I are returning to the basics—simple, elementary, seemingly unattractive things that actually allow us to find and shape the Essence.

I have no intention of limiting myself to just those two as my sole gateway to the inner world.

I haven't forgotten the "price" I paid after experimenting with LSD a few times years ago. Those awakened internal fears essentially "turned me into a frog."🙂
Nor am I planning on sticking solely to cannabis, given my past experiences with how it sharpens—or distorts—perception.
It’s simply impractical... you lose focus, paranoia starts creeping in, and you become totally detached from real life... and that's putting aside the good things I (admittedly) owe that plant. But whatever I got from it... I got it. My struggles are mostly behind me now.
Certain flutes will always be more precious to me than a glass of any fine wine... but this isn't some kind of race—there's no cheating involved.
That wasn't a bad thread at all for the Sesame Street drummer.

As for drumming😁 😁 😁 we'll get around to discussing that eventually... all of us together.🙂 🙂 🙂

That’s true, but that doesn't matter to me. I’m an artist working out of my own studio; when I need to get somewhere fast, taking the car is just easier. 😛 🙂

(Even though I was born a walker, please be respectful—I've got better legs than most of those incredibly thick women out there. 😳 )

I had a chat with Solaris earlier today, and we touched on something important. We decided it would be best to move all our banter, side discussions, extra planning, and any new ideas regarding this whole witchy project over to the "pirate edition" of the Thread... that way, the new generation can truly carry on the legacy of the old school in the right spirit. 🙂
