Now we’re looking at Nishikori and Goffin stepping onto the court. It should be an incredible matchup, though I suppose everything hinges on whether Goffin can maintain his composure. He had such an interesting run against Kohli last week; he completely dominated the first set, playing like he was facing a total amateur, only to have things fall apart unexpectedly.

And then there’s the Murray-Kohli match, following their final on Monday. 🙏

Well, it looks like the umpire finally called Granollers out on his slow play after he spent far too much time between points. 🤦

Pure grit. 😁

Are you all watching this drama between Granollers-Monfils? These guys have been out there for nearly three and a half hours now. 🙏 Granollers is barely moving on the court; he managed to grab a break in the third, but then while serving for 6-3, Monfils fought back to break him. 🙏

Life is pretty sweet sometimes

Sometimes life feels a bit more gray, or even yellow. ☕

By the way, did anyone catch the Federer-Kyrgios match? It honestly felt like the match of the year. 🙏 Young Kyrgios managed to pull off a 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 victory, which is quite impressive considering he was down a set and facing a break in the second. 🙏 If I recall correctly, he clinched it on his seventh match point during that third-set tiebreak. 🙏

Amanda Evans2 said:I can't say I completely agree that movie tickets have become outrageously expensive. If you look at the average ticket price at a theater like AMC, it sits right around $10, which is basically the cost of two beers or just a bit more than a pack of cigarettes.
That’s pretty much what it costs to get into a USL soccer match at most stadiums, and it's actually $3.25 less than what you'd pay to see a match involving a team like Los Angeles FC.
It feels a bit silly to bundle the price of popcorn and sodas into the overall cost of going to the movies; nobody is forcing your hand to buy them. You can always just grab a bottle of water at a 7-Eleven for $1.25 and maybe some snacks for ten bucks if you're feeling hungry.

I don't know... considering how much everything else costs these days, $15 feels like a perfectly reasonable price for a movie. When you weigh it against everything else we're throwing money at, I think any of us can afford to head to the cinema once in a while. Again, I'm saying you don't have to blow another $17 on overpriced snacks if you're on a budget, right?

You're absolutely right. I suppose there are definitely people for whom $30 or $40 might feel like $17, but once you draw those comparisons to things like cigarettes or beer, it really becomes clear that the tickets themselves aren't actually over the top.
Signing off on what granitefalcon26 said. It seems like after his candidate’s election loss, Donald Trump has completely lost his sense of direction and any connection to reality, choosing instead to vent his frustrations in the most pathetic ways imaginable. I have to admit, there is a certain level of enjoyment in watching him struggle with the new President, but let's be clear about where he stands.

Actually, I read somewhere it was over 700. I mean, we can't exactly call Cassano an amateur, can we? ☕

What do ZZ and those free-kick goals from the US national team have in common? They haven't been seen in quite some time, have they? 😂

Behind Hawking is an entire team essentially fabricating content and putting his name on it. As for that voice synthesizer supposedly used for his books and public statements—it’s all a facade. Everything is pre-written and fed into the software. Every public statement originates from top-tier NASA officials, not Hawking himself. Most disturbing is what the whistleblower claims: when Hawking isn't under the influence of his medication, he attempts to stand or walk, and they've actually caught him moving. He even shouted, "Let me go home! I want to go home!" while present.

But think about it—you really have to possess a certain level of mental capacity to come up with such extreme nonsense, don't you? One would almost have to be a madman or a genius, as they say the line between them is incredibly thin. ☕ Fine then, I suppose I’ll try to cook something up and send it over just to see if they actually decide to publish it. ☕

Rachel Cooper3 said:I agree regarding Federer—but this guy? I've never seen a more slippery tennis player. ☕

Have you actually watched one of his matches when he's losing? He rolls around clutching his "injuries"—acting like he's having some massive "cramps"... honestly, then once the momentum shifts back his way, it’s as if nothing ever happened.
That's just how it works—it's similar to when a player from a small college team grabs a single point and suddenly it's like they've won the whole set (referring to Murray here, just to avoid any confusion 😂).

Of course I've watched him; it's just that I don't follow athletes through that kind of lens. To be perfectly honest, his behavior doesn't really interest me, even if it certainly has the potential to be irritating to others. Personally, I always found that character Koellerer to be quite an entertaining figure. 😁

Djokovic had his own little quirks with those service breaks whenever he was trailing, and Nadal certainly had his habit of taking far too much time on court—which, of course, everyone seemed happy to overlook. But ultimately, isn't all of this just part of being human?

Rachel Cooper3 said:Agreed. ☕

We aren't going to see that happen. Roger Federer is obviously the GOAT, and I don't just mean in tennis, but as an athlete in general—though I won't even count Totti since he transcends the category of a mere sportsman altogether. However, looking at this younger crop, Andy Murray is my number one; perhaps it’s because I'm not exactly a fan of Djokovic, and while I absolutely adore Nadal, there is just something about Murray that resonates with me more.

Nishikori really needs to prove that last season wasn't a fluke, Milos Raonic will likely never reach his full potential as a complete player, Wawrinka struggles with consistency, and Berdych seems to have hit a ceiling he simply can't break through. Then you have Ferrer, who is a tireless worker but is already pushing 33, and Dimitrov's specific playing style means he'll never be a truly complete player, so we shouldn't expect much from him on the clay courts.

That young kid Coric, though? He actually has the potential to climb to that top spot eventually.

Man, I am seriously so stoked that he absolutely dismantled that arrogant prick.
Honestly, if it wasn't for a potential injury sidelining this kid, he’d probably end up ruling the entire tennis world for decades, just dominating everyone in sight. <put99>I'm definitely living for this moment.</put99&>. 🙏🙏

Murray is clearly number one. ☕
