lonebadger6, let me tell you something—I was recently tearing into the moderation over on the politics board, and get this: I walked away without a single yellow card, red card, or even a slap on the wrist! 😲
Want to know why?! It's because one of those moderators actually gets the spirit of how people talk here; he doesn't just mindlessly enforce rules, he actually builds a space where you can just hang out and chat.
I also want to give a shout-out to Cuke because I felt totally fine when he warned me about posting links without context (which I took personally and edited immediately), and honestly, his mod response was just, "My bad, I forgot!"

First off, he could have easily slapped me with a ban for breaking subforum rules, and then hit me again for criticizing the mods. But he didn't. Stuff like that is exactly what keeps the atmosphere here chill and relaxed. You should probably take a page out of his book.

Honestly, looking at myself, I’d say I’m pretty happy with who I am, and I think that goes hand-in-hand with what you mentioned—letting people see the flaws and imperfections while they still want to hang out with you. That doesn't mean I'm totally oblivious to my mess-ups, though. If anything, I'm constantly running these little "self-improvement" projects in my head. I’ve always got this drive to be better than I was yesterday, pushing myself to the limit, but I also love taking a second to look back and realize how far I've actually come. I guess that's what gives me my confidence. I accept myself, sure, but I'm definitely not just settling for where I am right now. Something like that.

You hit the nail on the head regarding how people who are actually comfortable in their own skin tend to be magnetic and great to be around. Now, whether that’s because they’re genuinely happy or if they’ve just learned to swallow their dissatisfaction and keep it private is a whole other story. But let's be real: nobody really wants to spend their weekend hanging out with someone who's constantly tearing themselves apart or stuck in a deep funk.

I don't moderate Politics, just this specific thread. You'd have to ask the moderator who gave you the warning or maybe a super-mod from Politics. Or even an admin if you want the final word.

Then where am I supposed to go to complain about an immigration thread and the warnings being handed out there if not here? If you don't have any authority to moderate how people behave in a thread that's literally your purpose for being here, then what are you even doing?

But I did post them, didn't I? The moderator claims I'm trolling, but all I did was drop a link that completely contradicts what the other moderator is saying. Meadow thinks there's zero point even discussing Sharia in Europe and wonders why on earth we're debating it, yet the second I post a link where Muslims are explicitly stating they want to implement Sharia in Belgium, I get slapped with a warning just for repeating it. It's not like I had the brilliant idea to delete it; I don't see the logic there.

Not to mention I got a second warning basically just because of the timing—while I’m mid-sentence typing out my reply, Bradley Sanders4 swoops in with a moderator notification that I can't even see until after I hit post. So, I end up getting warned right after, and it wasn't even Bradley Sanders4, it was lonebadger6. Like, man, try to actually follow the flow and the rhythm of the conversation for once.

The only warning I actually deserve is the one where I commented on the mod alert. Everything else feels like a straight-up attempt to suppress free speech.

And obviously, that's why I got flagged, so let me ask you again: why is discussing the issue of rape off-limits if it's a legitimate concern regarding immigrants—especially when it's blatantly obvious that in the countries where they are most prevalent, we see the highest rates of sexual assault involving them. Please, if your answer is just "because we said so," save your breath.
